Welcome And Psalm 91 Focus

SPEAKER_00

Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper. We are live here in London, England. We're gathering for faith, we're gathering for strength, and we're gathering for hope. God is with you wherever you are right now. We're coming out of Psalm 91, verse 5, and the title of this prayer is Jesus.

Prayer For Night Fears And Shadows

SPEAKER_00

Calm my night fears and stand between me and every shadow that tries to speak. Holy Spirit, calm my night fears and stand between me and every shadow that tries to speak. Father, I want to thank you to everybody under the sound of my voice. I pray, dear God, for every shadow that tries to make a noise. Father, I pray that you will quieten every shadow.

Blessings Over Listeners And Supporters

SPEAKER_00

Lord, bless those on RB Christian Radio. Bless those, dear God, in the archives of these podcasts. Bless those, dear God, that are with us for the first time and those that have been with us from day one. And Lord, thank you to everybody that is praying for this ministry and everybody sowing a seed, a financial gift into this ministry. God, I thank you for every one of us. And wherever we are, Jesus, calm my fears. Jesus, calm our fears tonight.

Choosing Peace Over War Noise

SPEAKER_00

Father, we are hearing the sound of war across every channel, across every platform. Father, we don't want to engage in what the world is saying because, Lord, it is making me tense, it is getting me scared, and Lord, I want to fill the rhythm of God. Lord, I want to walk in peace. We want to walk in the majesty of the King. Father, from every tribe, from every tongue, from every four corners of this world, from here, London to Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Cuba, dear God, and Angola. We're praying for the love of God. Holy Spirit, calm my night fears. Lord, as we walk through the corridor tonight, Lord, as we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, Lord, we don't want to fear no evil. Lord, we want to walk through the rhythm of life. Lord, we pray from the battlefield to the boardroom. From the boardroom, dear God, to the ballroom, from the ballroom of life all the way to the scenarios that hit us hard. Holy

Spirit, for every situation that hits us hard. Lord, we pray for those shadows. They won't try and speak to us. History won't speak to us. The present won't speak to us. The fears won't speak to us. The night tremors won't speak to us. But Lord, we walk and we pray through Psalm 91, verse 5. You will not fear the terror of night, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness. Father, that that stalks in the darkness, the fears that try to overtake us, that dark heavy weight, that blanket that descends on our lives. Father, we don't want to fear the terror of night. Lord, we don't

want to capture the rhythm of war. Lord, we want to hear the line of Judah. We want to walk in the word of God. Father, we want to speak faith. Lord, we want to see faith. Lord, we want to hear, dear God, the rhythm of God. Lord, we don't want to listen to the war cry of the world. We don't want to indulge in what social media is saying. Lord, we don't want to get caught in the conversations at work. Lord, we want to listen to God. We want to feel your presence. But Lord, at this night hour, Lord, it's been a long day. Lord, our hands are tired. Our backs are aching. Our feet are aching. Lord, I pray right now, as we get home from work, as we get back from the rhythm of today, Lord, whatever the setting, whatever the rhythm, whatever the tribe, whatever the color, whatever the reference of our day has brought to our mind

right now, Lord, I pray that the battlefield of the mind will go. The fears of the mind will go. But Jesus, calm my night fears. Lord, I don't want to listen to what the world is saying. Lord, I don't want to hear to the pots and pans rattling in my head. Lord, I don't want to hear the beat of war. Lord, I want to hear the rhythm, dear God, of the line of Judah. I want to hear heaven singing. Holy, holy, holy is the Lord, most worthy of all praise. Lord, I don't want to listen to the shadows, dear God, that are trying to speak to me. I don't want to listen to the shadows, dear God, that are trying to capture me. Lord, I don't want to listen to the shadows of yesterday. Father, I want to walk in freedom. I want to walk in your love. We want to walk in mercy. But right now, wherever we are, Lord, you tell us that your mercies are new every morning. Lord, that you are our refuge and you are our strength. Bring healing, Lord. The inner storms quiet them down. The external storms quiet

them down. Lord, bring night calm and Lord, bring deep peace to everyone wherever we are scattered. From the battlefield to the boardroom, from the boardroom to the shopping trolley, from the shopping trolley to the aircraft, from the aircraft to the airport, from the airport to the van, the car, the school run, the field of life. Father, every scenario under the sun. Father, as the sun sets here in London, as the sun rises on the other side of the world, bring peace and bring home. But Jesus, calm my night fears and stand between me and every shadow that tries to speak. Keep your eyes on Jesus. Don't go too far. I'll catch you at the next prayer.
