Opening And Psalm 91 Focus

SPEAKER_00

Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself Reverend Ben Cooper. We are live here in London, England. We are gathering for faith. We're gathering for hope, and we're gathering for strength through the power of the Word of God. The title of this prayer that we're in is in Psalm 91, verse 4. And the title is Jesus: Cover my first light with your wings and lift my morning into courage. Calm and quiet confidence. Jesus, cover my first light with your wings and lift my morning into courage. Calm and quiet confidence. Lord, we need

confidence. We need courage. And Lord, as we focus on Jesus Christ, Lord, as we look to the cross of Calvary, Lord, as we look into the Word of God, Father, we thank you as the sun is going to rise on our day. You are going to cover our first light of the day with your wings. Lord, you're going to protect us at work. You're going to protect us on the commute. You're going to protect us as we're in the passenger jet. You're going to carry us home. Lord, you're with us at every airport, at every traffic jam, at every traffic light. Lord, you're with us with every context of life. Lord, wherever we go, the rhythm of heaven is in our lives. Because Lord, we know what the Bible says. Greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world. And right now, Lord, as we stretch out across the world, Lord, as we lock shields together, Lord, we lift our hands in hope and power and authority. And we say thank you, Jesus, that our lives belong

to you. Father, as we reach out across London, across Brazil, Spain, Peru, Mexico, Colombia, France, Lord, we believe in the power of the authority of the Word of God. And Lord, where we've come away from the Word and we've gone into church, we've gone into the world, we've gone into the ivory towers of business. Lord, I thank you that the prodigals that I'm on my way back to the cross. We are on our way back. Lord, I thank you for every prodigal human being. I thank you for every prodigal son and every prodigal daughter. Lord, where we've gone off and we've drifted away. Lord, I thank you that you never, dear God, let us go away. Lord, because you're with us in every footstep, in every area and every section of our lives. Lord, I thank you that we are never away from you. Because you are omnipresent, you are omnipotent. But right now, cover us. Cover us with your feathers, and under your wings we're gonna find refuge. Lord,

Rejecting Fear And Global Noise

we're tired. Lord, we gotta be honest tonight, Lord. We got to be honest this morning. We've got to be honest this afternoon, Lord. We are tired with the rhythm of war. Lord, we are listening to the barrel of oil accelerating in cost. Lord, we're listening, dear God, to the energy rate accelerate. But Lord, we are not gonna listen to the lies. We are not gonna listen to the shipping lanes of the world. We're not gonna listen to the rhythm of war. We are gonna trust in our unfailing love in Jesus Christ. Because Lord, you tell us that perfect love drives out all fear and we stand on the gospel of hope. We believe in miracles, and right now, Lord, as we hold on to the word of God, as we draw on scripture, Father, from the four corners of this world, from London, as we reach out to Spain, we reach out to Peru, we reach out to Mexico around the globe. Lord, we thank you that the Spirit of the Lord is crisscrossing this world, that this world belongs to God, that God has the globe in his hands, and all things are possible to those

who believe. Lord, we want us to do as it says and acts in Isaiah 40, verse 31. They will soar on wings like eagles. Father, we want to soar high. Lord, we don't want to bounce to the rhythm of the way of the world. Lord, we don't want to walk in the way of the ivory towers. We don't want to walk in the system and in the rhythm of number 10 down in street. Lord, we want to walk in the kingdom. We want to be found in the kingdom of God. Lord, we want to be seen lifting up the scripture. Lord, we're not worried about the flag what's waving around London. We want to lift up the cross of Calvary because we believe in miracles. Father, from the four corners of this world to every battle cry, to every inner storm. Lord, lift us, Father, as we're getting ready for the rhythm of life today.

Father, as the sun rises, thank you. As the sun sets, hallelujah. Father, bless the listeners from the crown of their head to the sole of their feet. Don't go too far. I will catch you in two.
