Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper. Good morning, good afternoon, good evening. Wherever you are. We're in the studio. We are here in London, England, and whatever your bounces, whatever your rhythm is, it is midday, and we are in the midday rhythm, and Jesus Christ is over your life. I think we just need to remind ourselves of something that's really important before we go any further.
We are in prayer right now, John 3 16. For God so loved the world. God loves us. Father, we thank you for your love. And right now, Lord, as we progress through this prayer, Lord, we lean into Psalm 91 and your love is unconditional.
And Father, we thank you for Psalm 91. Jesus, lift my spirit in the heat of this day and remind me that your strength is greater than my struggle. Oh Jesus. Father Lord, I thank you that your strength is greater than any of our struggles. Lord, our mental health, our fears, our worries, our doubts, the lack of, Lord, I thank you, God, that we are not relying on
the barrel of oil. I thank you, Lord, that we are not relying on the shipping lanes to be clear. I thank you, dear God, that we are relying on the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. And Father, we stretch out. Lord, we lock together, we hold each other, we carry each other, we stand together. Lord, we shout, hallelujah, God is alive. And Father, Lord, you tell us through Psalm 91, verse 14, because he
loves me, says the Lord, I will rescue him, I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. Lord, I want to tell the world that I acknowledge the name of Jesus. I want to tell the world that I love Jesus Christ. I want to undo the window in the van right now and tell everybody in this traffic jam, Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world and everything is okay. Father, I thank you for the cross of Calvary. But Lord, right now, lift our spirit in the heat of this day and remind me that your strength, that your strength is greater than any struggle I carry. Lord, we thank you that there is power in the greatest name in heaven and earth. And right now, we come to the cross. Lord, I thank you that all the prodigals we're running back to Calvary. Lord, I thank you that your word is calling us. Lord, you tell us through the beautiful book of Matthew 11, 28. Come to me, all of you that are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Hallelujah, Jesus. Lord, we need rest. Lord, I'm sorry that I try and do things myself. Lord, I'm sorry that I try and work my own mental health out. Lord, I'm sorry I try and fix my own situations.
Lord, I've got to learn to trust in you. So Father, from the battlefield to the boardroom, from the boardroom to the school run, from the school run to the shopping trolley, from the shopping trolley to the barbers to the hairdressers, Father, to the traffic jam of life, to every airport, to every passenger jet, to every scenario under the sun. Lord, I want to tell the world everything is okay because God is in full charge. Lord, you tell us that if we acknowledge your name, my good God, in the name of Jesus, Father, we thank you for Psalm 91, verse 14.
Because he loves me, Lord, I just want to tell the world that we love you. Lord, I want to be the voice for the voiceless. Lord, I want to pray for everyone that is going through trials and tribulations. I want to pray, dear God, that they will see the hand of God over their lives today. The Spirit of the Lord is with you. From your battles to your victories, from the good to the bad, to the unusual scenarios of life. We got to remind ourselves that Jesus Christ, through this prayer time together, as we gather for daily devotional prayer, the Spirit of the Lord is global. The Spirit of the Lord is everywhere. He's omnipresent, he's omnipotent, he's in all, he's about all. Let's be braggadocious, let's be bold, let's tell the world that Jesus Christ is taking care of my life and God loves
