Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper. We are live here in London, England, wherever you are scattered across this world. The love of God is in your life. The Spirit of the Lord is over you. I want to say yes, Lord, hallelujah today.
Come on, we're praying out of Psalm 91, and the title is Jesus. Holy Spirit, guard my home tonight and let no fear enter. Dear God from the four corners of the world. Lord, we come to you, Lord, at this hour. Lord, we're tired, we're weary. Lord, we're just getting home from work. We've had a long day. Lord, we've been traveling, Lord, we've been at work, we've been on the other side of the world. Father, we're still commuting, but Father, I pray, Jesus, guard my home tonight and let no fear enter.
Lord, I want to take it a little bit further, Jesus. Lord, I want to say, dear God, guard my heart tonight and let no fear enter into my heart. Lord, I thank you, Lord, that no fear is going to enter into our lives, into the circle, into the rhythm, at the workspace, at home. Lord, the heartbeat that we have, Father, I pray that we will lean into Psalm 91, verse 9. I will say, The Lord is my refuge and make him the most dwelling place. No harm will be for your tent. Father, I thank you that no harm will befall our tent. Lord, we believe in the power of the word. We believe in scripture. We believe, dear God, that we lack no good thing. And right now, Lord, wherever the rhythm is, whatever the rhythm looks like, however that rhythm feels, Lord, we want to rest in the arms of Jesus. Lord, we want to take refuge. We want to take cover.
Lord, we're tired of listening to the sound, dear God, of the war cry across the world. Lord, we want that to go. Lord, we want peace. We want global rest. We want global peace. And Lord, at this hour, Lord, we call out. Lord, we reach out from London to Brazil, Mexico, Peru, Colombia, and Spain. We stretch out, Lord. We hold each other up. Lord, we lift each other up and we say, Jesus, will you carry us in our worries? Will you carry us through the valley of the shadow of death? Lord, whatever this day has brought to the house, whatever this day has brought to the workspace, whatever this day has brought to our mind, Lord God, whatever is going on in the circle, in the rhythm of life, Lord, we pray for such an outpouring of your spirit that your mercy, your saving grace, your favor will descend on our lives.
Father, we believe in the power of the Holy Spirit. And Lord, we thank you that our minds are healed. Lord, our thoughts are healed. Lord, our bodies are healed. Lord, I thank you that we're walking, that we're able to stand, Lord God, that we're able to get in the rhythm, dear God, of life itself. But right now, Lord, I ask you that the Spirit of the living God will take away tension, will take away weariness. Lord, that you will give us a quiet strength, Lord, and in your presence tonight, Lord, I pray that you will heal the wounds of the past. Lord, I pray, dear God, that you will heal the abuse, the worries, the fears, the doubts. Lord, we got suitcases, we got rucksacks, and Lord, we can't go any further, Lord, with yesterday in our mind. We can't go any further than the other year in our mind. We can't go any further than the last year, five years, ten years. Lord, I pray that these stumbling blocks, we will leave them at the cross. And Lord, we pray for a blessing on everyone in the circle of our lives. We pray that you will bless us from the crown of our head to the sole of our feet. We pray that the love of God and the flavor of God and the beauty and his majesty from the battlefield, Lord, from the internal battles to the worries and the doubts of life. Lord, we believe in the latter-day reign. We believe in the love of God. So Lord, I pray that you will help us to walk in strength,
in authority, in love. But right now, Lord, help us to recognize at this hour that the Lord is our shepherd. We lack nothing. And Lord, we lack nothing. So Lord, it doesn't matter what the barrel of oil is priced at. It doesn't matter how many shipping vessels are trapped in those straits. It doesn't matter what is happening in the rhythm of the general press of the world. Because my God, our God is our shepherd, and we lack nothing. But Lord, I pray that we will live by faith, that we will live by the word of God, and Jesus, guard our homes tonight and let no fear enter. Father, we thank you for the rhythm of God. Carry us and protect
us. Brother and sister, wherever you are across this world, you are in the arms of Jesus. You are in the presence of the King, and God has you wrapped up in His love, His mercy, His favor. Don't go too far. I'll catch you at the next prayer.
