Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself Reverend Ben Cooper. We are live here in London, England, wherever you are across the world, it is the 12 a.m. prayer, and we're jumping straight in. We're still in the book of Psalms 91. We got a few days just to continue. You know, we're continuing this cycle all the way through. And good evening, good morning, good afternoon. Whenever you listen to this time zone, you know, just because we time stamp it doesn't mean to say that you've got to listen to the exact time of that. But without any further ado, let's jump
straight in. We're in Psalm 91, verse 1. And the title is Jesus Hold My Heart in your shelter tonight. When the world grows quiet and my soul searches for rest. Father, I thank you for everyone across the earth that is under the sound of my voice. But we come to you tired and weary, Lord, lost in life itself. But Lord, we believe in miracles. So right now, Lord, across the world, Lord, as we gather for prayer, as we gather for hope, Lord, we thank you that your word is carrying us across the ocean of life, that your word is carrying us, dear God, across work, across every scenario under the sun. And Lord,
we lean into the book of Psalms 91. Father, we hold on to this psalm, Lord, forevermore in our heart. And we believe that whoever dwells in the shelf to the most high will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Lord, help us to dwell in the shelf to the most high. Help us, Lord, to rest in your unfailing love. Help us, Lord, just to find a place where we can rest our mind, our body, and our soul. Lord, I pray, Lord, for those that are weary and tired of life. Holy Spirit, we're looking, dear God, for an outpouring of your love over our lives. Lord, but as this night comes down, Lord, as these early hours approach, Father, as we're just getting in from work, we're going out from work. We're a night worker, we're a day worker, we're tired, we're weary. Whatever our life is looking like, Father, I pray that you will protect us and carry us. But Jesus, hold my heart in your shelter tonight. When the world grows quiet and my soul searches for rest, Lord, I believe, Lord, that every one of us is looking for a place to rest our heart, our mind, our body, and our soul. And Lord, I thank you that it is only through the word of God. Lord, we believe that as the psalmist writes in Psalm 23, verse 1, the Lord is my shepherd. I lack nothing.
Father, I thank you that we lack nothing in our lives. But Lord, I pray for healing, I pray for miracles, I pray for your mercy over every one of us, wherever we are scattered, from the four corners of this world, right here from London, as we join hearts and listeners across Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, and Spain and the United States, Lord, we pray as we seek you at these quiet hours, Lord, as we stretch out across the table of life, Father, from this battlefield of life, Lord, from the worry about the fuel and the petrol and the diesel and the living cost, dear God. I pray that you will take the worry away. But Lord, that we will learn to live in the shelter of the Most High. And we call on the greatest name in heaven and earth right now, Spirit of the Living God. I believe in healing. Lord, and at this early hour, Lord, at this 12 a.m. live here in London, England, Lord, will you just bring your love, your mercy, your saving grace over our hearts and our minds and our bodies right now. And for those that just feel really weary and exhausted of life, Father, I pray that you will lift them and carry them. Father, we believe in the name of Jesus Christ, but restore us. Lord, let there be healing in our minds. Take the worry away, take the fear away, Lord God. And I believe that as the psalmist writes, Lord, that we lack nothing, that all things are possible to those who believe. So wherever we are, Lord, from the battlefield to the boardroom, Lord, let your grace cover us, Lord, at the 12 a.m.
