Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper. We are live here in the studio here in London, wherever you are right now. The love of God is over your life. As we gather for prayer, I pray that the love of God at this early hour will just cover you right now. Let's not be afraid. Let's ask God to be that refuge and that
strength we need. We're going to jump straight into Psalm 91. We're going to spend some time, a few more days in Psalm 91 praying. And uh we're in Psalm 91, verse 2, and this is the title,
Jesus. Be my refuge in the silent hours when my mind is awake and my spirit needs your peace. Holy Spirit, be my refuge in the silent hours when my mind is awake and my spirit needs your peace. Holy God, that you are, Jehovah Jireh, Jehovah Nisi, Jehovah Shalom. Lord, we call on the greatest name in heaven and earth. And Lord, we lean into the word of God because Lord, there's nowhere else to
go. Lord, we're not going to focus on the barrel of oil cost. Lord, we're not going to listen, dear God, to what's happening in the shipping lanes. Father, we're not going to concentrate on what the world is doing. Lord, we want to lean into Jesus. And Lord, right now be our refuge in these silent hours when my mind is alert and awake and my spirit needs
peace. Lord, there's turmoil in the skin that we walk in. Father, we're worried. We're scared about the present. We're worried about the future. We're worried about the uncertain days in which we see. But Lord, as we gather as brothers and sisters, I pray that the love
of God will descend over their lives. Father, thank you to everybody that's with me right now. Thank you to everybody that is praying into this ministry. Thank you to everybody that is sowing a seed into this ministry. Thank you, Father, that the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords is over our lives. Lord, we lean into the Holy Spirit. Lord, we are tired and we are weary. Lord, there are so many of us, Lord, that have got fatigue. Lord, and we are tired and we need the love of God. Lord, will you remove the panic? Lord, at these unusual hours when our mind is alert and awake, Lord, and we are pretending to sleep. Lord, we pray that the love of God and the spirit of the living God will move in our lives in every situation. Father, in these quiet hours. Lord, we join listeners across Brazil, Chile, and Peru. Lord, Canada, Lord, wherever the listeners are at this hour. Father, we gather together for prayer. Lord, we're trusting in the peace of Jesus to meet
us at this moment in time. But Lord, we thank you for Psalm 91, verse 2. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress. Father, I thank you that you are our fortress. My God, my God, my God, in whom
I trust. And at this hour, Lord, we come to you from the battle stations of life, dear God, to the shopping trolley, from the shopping trolley to the field of life, dear God, to the bus stop, to the school run, dear God, to every journey, every scenario, the cycles that we're in in life. Father, we're calling on the name of Jesus. And Lord, we trust in you because Lord, there's nowhere else to go. Father, there's nowhere else to go. We need Jesus. Holy Spirit, we need you. Father, we need your love. We need your mercy. We need that saving grace over our lives. And Father, we call on the beautiful name of Jehovah Jirah, Jehovah Nissi.
Lord, we thank you that we are healed. We thank you that sickness is gone, fear is gone, mental health is gone. Lord, that we're well. We pray for everybody, dear God, that can't sleep right now, from the battlefield to the boardroom, to the field of life, to every sunset, to every sunrise. Father, as the rain falls on our lives, Father, as the four seasons of the world, dear God, progress, Lord, we thank you that I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge, my fortress, my God in whom I trust. Father, bless the listeners from the crown of their head to the sole of their feet. Touch their hearts, their minds, their bodies, and their souls. And Lord, give them unconditional love in Jesus' name. Don't go too far. I'll catch you at the next prayer.
