Welcome to Daily Prayer. With myself, Reverend Ben Cooper. We are in the studio. It is early doors. It is about 9 o'clock, whatever the time zone is, whatever the rhythm is in your life, you're probably at work, you're probably at school. God is with you. You're probably done the school run. You're done all that sort of stuff. And you're just grabbing a cup of tea or a little cheeky cup of coffee wherever
you are. Come on. We're in Psalm 91, verse 11. These prayers are real. This is real life. You know, we are watching the news channels in the studio. We're watching the oil prices climb. We're listening to politicians at this moment in time. We're watching the shipping lanes. But I've got to tell you now, God will make a way. We're in Psalm 91, verse 11. This is the title, Jesus. Guide my steps today. And guard the path before me. Holy Spirit, Jesus, guide my steps today. And dear God, bring me into a path of righteousness. Holy Spirit, Lord, you tell us through the beautiful book of Psalms 91, 11. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all of your ways. Lord, I want to pause. Lord, I want to hold it for a minute. And I want to say thank you to every listener across the world. Lord, if they're in the car, bless them. Lord, if they're at home, if they're kicking the duvet off, if they're at the washing machine, the tumble dryer. Lord, if they're at the washing line of life, wherever they are right now. Lord, I pray that the love of God will be over them. Wipe every tear,
carry every heart, spirit of the living God. I pray that we will feel your faithfulness, your mercy. We're scared about the future, what we see on the news channels, we're worried about the price of oil. We're worried about the food on the shelves. Lord, we're worried about our jobs. We're worried about the ifs and the buts and the possibilities and the maybes. But Jesus, guard our steps, guide our life, and Lord God, bring us on that path of faith. So Lord, right now we live and we walk by faith. And we believe that there are angels carrying us right now. There are angels carrying aircraft. There are angels, dear God, in the trench of life. There are angels with you at work. There are angels with you at home. You are worried and you are scared. And the Spirit of God is with us. Father, this morning, as we join listeners across Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Spain, and dear God, the United States, Lord, wherever we are beginning this working day, this new day, Father, we pause for a moment. Jesus, walk beside us. Holy Spirit, walk beside us.
Lord, we gotta call you down into this arena because Lord, this life is tough. And Lord, as we walk, dear God, through Psalm 23, verse 4, even though I walk through, Lord, even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me, your rod and your staff. They comfort us, Lord. Whatever corridor we're in right now, whatever rhythm we're in right now, Lord, I pray that we won't fix our eyes on the world. But Lord, we do what the Hebrew writer tells us in Hebrews 12. Fix your eyes on Jesus. Holy Spirit. Every listener, Lord, as they're listening to the sound of my voice, Father, I pray, Lord God, for supernatural blessing over their lives, for healing and for miracles, as we fix our eyes
on Jesus. Father, thank you to everybody on RB or Christian Radio. Everybody that is sowing a prayer into this ministry, everybody that is listening to the sound of my voice for the first time now and right back in the back archives. Everybody that is sowing a financial seed into this ministry, everyone that is standing with us, Lord, as we stand with our brothers and sisters, as we lock shields of faith, Lord God, we pray, Jesus, guide my steps today and guard my path before thee. Holy God, great God, great King that you are, Lord, we believe in miracles from the battlefield to the shoreline of life, to the calmness of life, to the craziness of life. Father, we got so many plates spinning, Lord. We're rushing and we're running out of time. So, Lord, bring calm to this crazy world in which we live. But Lord, we believe in Psalm 91, verse 11, for he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all of your ways.
Whatever your life is reflecting right now, I want to encourage you to get in the word of God, to get in prayer, and to trust in the King. Don't look at the bot the barrel of oil price, don't look at the commodities that are stuck around the world. Don't listen to the political table tennis jargon. Focus on Jesus. I'll catch you at the next prayer.
