Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself Reverend Ben Cooper. It is the hour. It is the 11th hour. How are you feeling? What's your day been like? What's your life been like?
Goodness gracious, Lord. We need your love right now because Lord, we are struggling at work. We're struggling at home. We're struggling in the commute. We're struggling with just the rhythm of life. Everything is a battle, Lord. We're struggling at education. We're struggling at school, in church, in ministry. Lord, everything seems to be so difficult at this moment. Lord, what is going on? Lord, I pray right now that we will find you like we've never found you before. And Lord, as we look at the 11th hour right now, Lord, we believe that there is change. We believe that the sun is rising, Lord, and you're going to bless every one of us across the world.
And Lord, I thank you for the title of this prayer. Out of Psalm 91, verse 16, Jesus, lead me safely into tomorrow and hold my life secure in your hands. Father, we thank you for the security of the Word of God. Because Lord, everything feels very dangerous at this moment. Lord, we're traveling on the roads. Lord, we're commuting in and out of towns and into cities around the world. Lord, we're on aircraft, Lord. We're being moved across the world. Lord, our life, our work, our home, the rhythm of life. Lord, everything feels very precarious. So Lord, we cannot live by the war cry. So Jesus, lead me safely into tomorrow. Holy Spirit, Lord, we want our hearts to be refreshed. Lord, I pray that you will take our hearts, Lord, and you will bring us to the cross. And Lord, that we will just get to the cross of Calvary. Lord, whatever rhythm, whatever colour, whatever area of life we are in at this moment, Lord, we thank you that the rhythm of life is not about what is
now. The rhythm of life belongs to the world. And Lord, we don't want the rhythm of the life according to the way of the world. We want the rhythm of Jehovah Jirah. Lord, we want the rhythm of Psalm 91. We want the rhythm of Genesis to Revelations. Lord, we seek Jesus. And Lord, I pray for all those that feel broken in this moment. I pray for everyone that feels lost in life. I pray for everyone who's lost their identity, that is scared about their health, scared about their lives, scared about their beginning, scared about the ending of life, scared about the breath of life, scared about every scenario under the sun. Lord, I pray that you will lift this very unusual feeling, dear God, of being unsecure. Lord, we don't feel secure. Lord, the atmosphere feels very odd. And Lord, I pray right now that you will bless every one of us, that you will bring calm to the world. Lord, I pray that we won't focus on the shipping lanes of the world. We won't focus on what the cabinet are saying. We won't focus on what the world is saying. Lord, we won't engage in social media. We won't engage in the rhythm of war. But Lord, we will be led by the Spirit. Lord, that we will be led by the love of Jesus. We will be led
by your presence. So Father, as we walk through Psalm 23, verse 4, even though, even though I walk through the darkest valley, Lord, we're going to fear no evil, for you are with me. So Father, we thank you for this unusual hour. We thank you from the battlefield to the boardroom. Lord, from the bedroom to the sofa, from the bedroom to the bathroom, from the bathroom to the van to the car. Lord, to getting dressed, to getting ourselves ready for nighttime. Lord, for getting ourselves ready for morning, for getting the kids ready, for getting the lunches ready, for if we're still cooking, if we're hoovering and cleaning, Lord, if we've just completely flaked out on the sofa and we are absolutely exhausted. Holy Spirit, take the exhaustion away, take the fear away, take the doubt away. Jesus, lead me safely into tomorrow and hold our lives
securely in your hands. Wherever you are, I will catch you at 12 o'clock, 12 a.m. As we record, as we stand, as we press into more prayers, as we come out broadcasting live, as we push more out across the world, wherever you are, Jesus is with every one of us. Don't go too far. I'll catch you.
