Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper. We are live here in London, England. We are gathering for prayer. We're gathering for hope. It is 12 a.m. Whatever the rhythm, whatever the colour, whatever the tribe, whatever the issue is in your life, God is with each and every one of us. We're jumping straight in right
now. God loves us. And let's go straight to Psalm 91, verse 1. This is what the title is, and it is Jesus. Draw my restless heart into the shelter of your presence tonight. Holy Spirit, draw my restless heart into the shelter of your presence
tonight. Father, we come to the cross. And Lord, we're tired, we're weary, Lord. It's been a long day. We've been traveling, we've been working, we've been shopping, Lord, we've been rolling around with the kids, Lord. We've been doing everything under the sun, Lord. Father, we've been to football, Lord, we've been to netball. We've been down the supermarket, Lord, we've been doing this and that. But Father, we come to you right now. Lord, I pray for the love of God, Lord, at this hour, Lord, that you will give us peace. Lord, that we will find shelter for our restless heart.
Lord, we pray across the world right now. Lord, at 12 a.m. As we stretch out across the world, Father, as we connect listeners, Lord, as we connect brothers and sisters, Father, we connect right now to Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Spain, and the United Kingdom. Father, we stretch out across the time itself. Lord, and we draw each other to the cross today. And Lord, whatever this time zone is, Lord, whether it's the morning, whether it's the evening, whether it's the early doors, Father, we believe in miracles.
But Lord, I pray. And Lord, I ask for your blessings on every heart that is with me now. Every heart that is restless. Every heart that is scared. Every heart that is worried. Lord, that restless feeling that we get in our heart. Lord, we're worried about tomorrow. We're worried about now. We're worried about what the future may hold. We're worried about the price of the barrel of oil. We're worried about what the politicians are saying. We're worried about relationships. We're worried about the food costs. We're worried about the fuel costs. Lord, we are just feeling very restless at this hour. And we call on that beautiful name of Jesus. Lord, you are Jehovah Jirah, Jehovah Nisi. Lord, and as we crisscross the globe, Lord, as we hold each other up right now, Lord, we come together with a purpose. We pray together with a purpose.
And we come before Jesus. We're looking for shelter. We're looking for peace. We're looking for rest. Lord, you tell us through Psalm 91, verse 1, whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Lord, we've got to find this place of rest. Lord, we've got to find a place of hope. Lord, because we're not going to find it in the world. Lord, we're not going to see it on social media. Lord, we're not going to find it on the news channels. So Lord, I pray that as we learn, as we walk very different, Lord, I thank you that we haven't got to walk according to religion. Lord, we're not going to walk according and bounce to the way of the world. Lord, I thank you that we're going to walk in faith. So Lord, whatever the time zone is, or as we crisscross the world, Lord, we believe in the love of God. And Father, from the battlefield to the boardroom, to the restless nights, to these moments, Lord, as we're just trying to gather our thoughts. I pray for everyone that is just gathering their thoughts. Whatever has gone on, Lord, wherever they have crisscrossed the world from, from the corridors of life, Father, to the bedroom, from the bedroom to the sofa, from the sofa to the van to the car. Lord, to every scenario, Lord, as we're trying to sleep on the sofa, we're trying to sleep in the bed, Lord. We're trying to just get some rest in the van. Lord, we're just trying to stop this crazy journey of life, just causing so much confusion. Lord, will you remove the confusion? And Lord, right now, Jesus, draw my restless heart into the shelter of the presence of you tonight. Lord, I want to rest in your presence. Lord, I want to find out what true faith is. Lord, I want to come to the cross of Calvary. And wherever we are, Lord, I pray for the quietness of the Spirit of the Living God. You are the Lion of Judah and bring peace to every heart, every mind, every body, every soul in the greatest name in heaven and earth. Don't go too far. I'll catch you at the next prayer. God bless.
