Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself Reverend Ben Cooper. We are live in the studio. The sun is about to rise soon. Wherever you are across the world, we are jumping straight in. We're in Psalm 91, verse 4, and the title is Jesus.
Let the first light of the morning. Jesus, let the first light of the morning rise over our lives. Holy Spirit, we come to you right now. And Lord, as we're getting ready to kick the duvet off, Lord, as we're getting out, dear God, of the bed of life, Spirit of the Living God, I pray at 5 a.m. that the power of God will move, that we will feel the power of the love of God like never before. Jesus, let the first light of this morning, Holy Spirit, let the first bit of daylight hit my face with power and authority. Lord, as I pull the curtains back, Lord, as I look out that window. Father, let the love and the glory come through the window of my home. Father, as we pull the curtains back in every room, Spirit of the living God, as we kick the duvet off. Lord, as we bounce on the bed singing, Hallelujah, Jesus Christ. Jesus, let my first light of this morning rise over my life. Lord, let this first light, Lord, that you tell me you are the light of
the world. And from the battlefield to the boardroom, from the boardroom to the rock face of life, to every scenario, Father, from every rainfall to every snowfall, from every sunrise to every sunset. You are the God of Israel. You are the Father of Isaac, Jacob, and Abraham. Lord, you own every amount, every drop of oil. Father, you own every area of electricity. Lord, you own the gas. You own the fossil fuels. So, Father, I pray that I won't look at the commodities around the world getting stuck in the shipping lanes of life. But Lord, I will look at the first light of dawn. Lord, that I will tell my God has lifted that sun out of the sky this morning. My God's hand is on the sun. My God's hand is on the moon. My God is putting the stars in the heavens. As
the Bible says in the beautiful book of Isaiah, He stretches out the heavens like a scroll. Father, I thank you that you are quicker than the sound of speed. Lord, that you are quicker than the sound of light. Lord, you are quicker. You are so fast. Father, you're outside light. You're outside time. You are Jehovah Jairah, Jehovah Nisi, Jehovah Shalom. And we stretch out across the boardroom of life today, right from London to Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Spain, all the way to the Americas. Father, we're praying for an outpouring of your spirit. But Jesus, as that sun comes out of the heavens above, Lord, as the world starts to move, Lord, as the traffic starts to get more lively, Lord, as the sun, as the rain comes, as the snow falls, Lord, as the shoreline of life starts to fill the wave of the morning rush. Holy Spirit, I pray, Lord God, as we look in the heavens above, Lord, as we count the stars, as we see the magnitude of your beauty in the heavens above, Lord, we believe in miracles. And right now, Lord, from the battlefield to the boardroom, to the field of life, to every scenario under the sun, Lord, we believe in miracles, and the hand of God is over you. Father, I thank you to every listener that is praying for this ministry. I thank you to every listener that is sowing a financial seed, everyone that is standing with me right now, everyone that is on the commute run. Father, we thank you for Psalm 91, verse 4. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge. His
faithfulness is your shield and your rampart. Father, as we feel the sun is about to lift. Lord, as we pull the curtain back on a new day. Lord, as we get ourselves ready. Father, as we get ourselves ready for the day. Lord, as we get ourselves ready for the life that lies ahead. Spirit of the living God, we believe in miracles. Pour out your spirit, pour out your love. Lord, we're getting dressed ready for the rhythm of the day. Lord, we're combing our hair. We're putting our makeup on. We're putting our wall paint on. Lord, we're putting our jeans and our trousers on. Lord, we're putting our trainers, our shoes on. Father, we're zipping ourselves up ready for the day. Spirit of the living God, we pray for such an outpouring. But Jesus, let the first light of this morning rise over our
lives today. Don't ever give up. The Spirit of the Lord is with you. I will catch you at the next prayer.
