We are in Psalm 91, verse 16. Jesus, carry my life safely into tomorrow. Lord, we can never stop the march of time. But Lord, what do we ask you to do is to slow our mind down. Lord, and will you carry our life safely into tomorrow? Lord, as we've got about 58 minutes before we strike 12 midnight, Holy Spirit, I pray that you will carry our hearts, our minds, and our lives safely into tomorrow.
Lord, as we stretch out, as we broadcast from London, reaching listeners across Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Spain, Father, I ask you, God, right now, wherever we are, from every tribe, from every tongue, from every city, to every town, to every continent, to every rhythm of life. Father, as night deepens and this day comes to a quiet conclusion.
Lord, we want a quiet conclusion. And Lord, we need to pause together. Lord, we lock in together. Lord, we're just still getting in from work. Lord, we're tired. The house is upside down, inside out. Lord, we're still at the washing machine. Lord, we've still got the iron out. Lord, we're still in the van. We're still commuting. Lord, we're still living life. But right now for everyone that needs calm, Lord, at two minutes past 11. Lord, I pray, Jesus, carry my life safely. Carry our lives. Carry ourselves safely into tomorrow. Father, you are Jehovah Jirah, Jehovah Nisi. And Lord, we thank you for Psalm 91, verse 16. With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation. Father, we pray that war will go. We pray that famine will go, that doubt will go, that worries will go. Lord, that the sound of the rhythm of the craziness of life will disappear. So Jesus, carry my life, carry our lives safely into tomorrow.
Father, we come to the cross, and there's nowhere else for us to go. In the quietness, from the battlefield to the boardroom, from the boardroom to the shopping trolley, from the shopping trolley to the wolves of life, to the dance of life, to the tears of life, to the pain of life, to the rhythm of being a human being. Lord, just remind us that you are our shepherd. Lord, just remind us that the responsibilities of life lie in the shepherd's hands. And Lord, you are the King. So wherever we are at this hour, whatever the sound, dear God, of the rhythm of the world around us right now, Lord, you tell us with long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation. Lord, we need you. Father, we need you in our lives. Lord, you've got to carry us safely across the threshold from eleven right through to twelve. And then Lord, every hour, Lord, you've got to carry us across every hour, every time zone of life. We need you, God. Father, we thank you that you never leave us nor forsake us. Wherever we are across this world, from the battles of life to the storms of life, to the outward experiences to the inward walk. Bless the listeners from that crown of their head to the sole of their feet. Carry them in the mercy and the favor of the eternal God. Don't give up, don't go too far.
