Psalm 4:8 Sets The Prayer

SPEAKER_00

Lord, we're gonna jump straight into Psalm 4, verse 8. Father, I thank you for the title of this prayer. We're coming from Psalm 4, verse 8. Jesus, help me rest in your peace and in the quiet hours of this night. Holy Spirit, help us rest in your peace in the quiet hours of this night. Father, we need rest. Holy Spirit, we need worry to go, we need fear to go, we need doubt to go, and we need the rhythm of the love of God. So Lord, we're calling on

that great name. We're calling on that beautiful name, just as David did, just as David did, young shepherd boy David, when he went down and he faced Goliath, he said to Goliath, You come against me with everything you got, but I come in the name of the God of Israel. So Father, I thank you that we carry this name, Lord, and right now at the early doors of this day, Lord, we're praying for your love and the rhythm of the Holy Spirit. Jesus, help me to rest in your peace.

Turning From World Noise To Word

SPEAKER_00

Lord, we don't want to go with the way of the world. We don't want to listen to the war cry and the battle sound, dear God, of the air jets, Lord, with the rockets. Father, we don't want to listen to the shipping lanes, Lord, that is getting stuck and the commodities around the world. Lord, we want to lean into the word of God.

Wrestling Worry And Seeking Mercy

SPEAKER_00

Spirit. Lord, at these early hours of this morning, when the world is still still and many hearts are awake. Lord, I pray that we wrestle with our thoughts. Lord, I pray for every thought, for every battle, for every worry, for every fear. Lord, from every area of life, from the four corners of this world, Lord, we need peace. We need your mercy. We need your saving grace. But Lord, help us to sleep. Lord, carry our heart right now. Bring quietness to the rhythm of our home. Lord, it's been a long day. Lord, it's been a long night. Lord, it's been a long life. And right now, will you carry our hearts? Lord, will you deploy angels over our lives? Father, will you just bring peace to our scenarios right now? Lord, as we try to rest, Lord, we want to dwell in the shelter of the Most High. We want to rest under the shadow of the Almighty.

Mental Health And Quiet Hours Prayer

SPEAKER_00

Lord, we pray for mental health right now. We pray for that battle place, that wasteland of the mind. Jesus, help me rest in your peace in the quiet hours of this night. Lord, as the stillness is in the bedroom, as the stillness is in the front room, as the stillness is in the land of where we live. Holy Spirit, Lord, at these dark hours, Lord, we need your quietness. We need your saving grace. But dear God, I thank you for the rhythm of the Holy Spirit from the battlefield to the boardroom. Lord, bring calm, bring rest, bring hope. You are the line of Judah. You are the great I am. But Lord, we thank you. In peace, we lie down and sleep. For you, Lord, make me dwell in
