Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper. Wherever you are in the world, thank God for your life and thank you for making daily prayer for part of your life and part of your day. We are connecting together across the world. Stay with us, connect with us, and return. Come on, let's pray together. We're on a journey, and in that journey is called prayer. Father,
in the name of Jesus, I thank you to every listener. Father, before the sun rises here live in London, England, Lord, we want to lock in. Lord, we want to go on a journey together. Lord, we want to go on a journey of faith. Lord, we want to go on a journey of stability and hope. So, Father, I pray that you will bless this prayer time as we gather. The prayer is coming out of the beautiful book of Joshua, chapter 1, verse 9. And the title is Short and Simple Jesus, strengthen my heart as this new day begins. Oh my good God. Yes, Lord. Father, you are the father of Isaac, Jacob, and Abraham. You are the God of Israel. You are the King. You are El Shaddai, Jehovah Jirah.
But Father, as we get ready to kick the duvet off, Lord, we're hearing the sound of the alarms going off. Father, Lord, we're hitting that phone again because we want to snooze a little bit longer. But right now, in the name of Jesus Christ, I pray as the sun will rise in just a very short time in London. I pray right now for every nation, for every tribe, for every heart that is with me, wherever you are, from the war zones of life to the battle stations of life, to every scenario, to every sunset, to every sunrise. God is with you. I thank God for Joshua chapter 1, verse 9.
For have I not commanded you to be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid. Do not be discouraged. For the Lord thy God will go with you wherever you go. Father, I thank you that you're with us wherever we go. Lord, you're at the bus stop and you're with us. Lord, we're at the food run and you're with us. Lord, we're in the school run and you're with us. Lord, wherever, Lord God, we are, you are. Lord, you tell us that you will never leave us nor forsake us. But Father, I pray, Lord, that this early door, Lord, as the sun is going to rise, that we will fill the rhythm of God. Lord, you tell us, have I not commanded you to be strong and courageous? Lord, as we get ready for work, as we get in the rhythm of life. Father, Lord, as we wash our face, we jump in the shower. Lord, we get ourselves for whatever is coming down the corridor of life today. Father, I pray as we put our lipstick on, our makeup on, we comb our hair. Lord, we put our jeans on, our uniform. Lord, we get ourselves ready for the rhythm of life. Father, we grab the van keys, we grab the car keys. Lord, we grab the satchels, we get the lunch boxes, and Lord, we get on the commute of life. Father, wherever we are, Spirit of the living God, at these early doors, I pray for every battle we go for. Lord God, that we'll be strong. Lord, for every battle that we walk through, we'll be strong. Lord, through every scenario, through every rhythm, through every situation. Lord, we thank you that the love of God is over our lives. Lord, you tell us, have I not commanded you? Lord, I thank you that there is a command over our lives to be strong, to be courageous. Lord, we're not going to be afraid. So, Lord, if we are afraid for what comes down the track of work today, life today, every scenario under the sun, I pray that we will capture the rhythm of heaven.
But right now, pour out your spirit. Pour out your love over each and every one of our lives. Lord, we believe in miracles. The power of God is over your life. Jesus Christ has set you free. There is hope. And that hope is the God of Israel. Father, from the battlefield to the boardroom, to every scenario that we are going through. Jesus, Holy Spirit, we call on your name right now. Jesus, strengthen my heart. Lord, strengthen the rhythm of our lives today. Jesus, strengthen our heart as this new day begins. Lord, as the new day starts to begin, as the sun comes through the studio window. Lord, as the rain falls, as the snow flurries down. Father, as the sun rises, as the stars are in the heavens above, as the sea, dear God, comes across the shore of life. Lord, I thank you that you are the great I am. You are our Jehovah Jireh. Lord, I pray for strength. I pray that you will strengthen our bones. You will strengthen our arms. Strengthen every fiber of the skin that we walk in. Father, we love you and we bless you. But right now, Spirit of the living God, we pray for breakthrough in every area. Father, I thank you as we lock shields, as we gather across the world, from Brazil to London, from London to Tokyo, from Tokyo to France. Lord, we believe in miracles wherever you are. Don't give up from the battlefield to the board run. I will catch you at the next prayer. Come on, kick that duvet off. We gotta get in the rhythm. I'll catch you at the next prayer.
