Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper. Wherever you are across the world, thank God for your life and making daily prayer part of your life and the rhythm of your day. We're going to stay connected. We're going to listen to what God is calling us to do through the power of Scripture. And we're going to journey together right now as we gather and we lock in at 10 p.m. live here in London, England. We're journeying and the journey is known as prayer. And the journey is life. Whatever your day
has looked like. I know you're tired. I know you're weary. I know you're frustrated with relationships with children, work with life. Frustrated sometimes even. Do you ever get frustrated with God? I've got to be honest, sometimes, Lord, I look up, deny Jesus. Come on. I look up, God, and I go, Come on, Lord. Will you help me? I'm tired. God, come on, where are you? God, where are you? But inside my spirit, inside my spirit, I know that He's with us wherever we are. That's just the human side
of us. So the title of this prayer is coming out of that beautiful book, that book of that wonderful prophet Isaiah 41, verse 10. Jesus, remove my fear and hold me tonight. Father, I thank you that you are removing all of our fears and you are holding us tonight. And Lord, we want to feel just grace and mercy and favor. Right now, Lord, at this hour, as we come to you. Father, we've had a fierce day. Lord, we've had a right old rumble today. Lord, we've gone through the corridor of life. We've gone through the valley of the shadow of death. Lord, it has been a tough scrum down today. And Lord, I pray for every one of us wherever we are scattered across this world, Lord, that we do as that prophet says through the book of Isaiah 41, verse 10. So do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Father, I thank you for the word of God. And I thank you that your word is true. But when anxiety tries to rise, bring peace. Lord, when worry lingers, bring calm. Lord, when fear speaks loudly, let your truth speak louder. Lord, I just want to remind you of something, Jesus. I just want to remind you, Lord, you wrote to us. You wrote those 66 books to human beings. Lord, you wrote to the world. You created the world. And Lord, I know that we gotta go through the fiery furnaces. I know that we gotta go through the endurance of life. But Lord, sometimes we need a break, Jesus. Sometimes,
God, we just need a breath of fresh air. Lord, will you just breathe into these lungs? Lord, will you breathe into every lung right now? Because Lord, there is a bit of a panic rising. Lord, we're looking at the barrel of oil and we don't want to engage in that. Lord, we're listening to the to the rise of inflation. We don't want to listen to that. Lord, we don't want to listen to the war cry that's across the world. Lord, when we're scared to sometimes even turn the nose on now, Lord, we don't want to engage into what's happening in the shipping straits, dear God, where the vessels are getting trapped.
Lord, we want to follow Jesus. And I pray wherever we are right now that your love and your mercy and your saving grace will just descend over every heart. But Jesus, as you have spoken through the book of Isaiah, that prophet, you are speaking to me, you are speaking to the world, you are speaking to the listeners right now. And Jesus, we come to you and we need this word over our lives. So do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand, Father, as we walk through the corridor of life. Lord, we're getting home now and we're tired. From the four corners of this world, Father, as we broadcast out of this studio in London, right across Colombia, right across Europe, right across Asia, right across South America. Spirit of the living God, will you strengthen us now? Lord, we need your love, we need your grace. From the battlefield to the boardroom, to every scenario under the sun, God is with you. Don't ever, ever give up. Just tell yourself, Jesus Christ
loves me. Will you journey with us? Will you stay with us? Leap to the next prayer. I'll see you very soon. God bless.
