Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Cooper. Wherever you are in the world, thank God for your life. And making daily prayer part of your life and part of your day. You know, we're staying connected. You know, keep returning to these daily prayers. You know, we're on a journey together, and the journey is life, and the journey is prayer. You know, whatever the rhythm, whatever is happening in our lives, I hope you are well in the name
of Jesus Christ. It is the 11th hour in London right now, and we're praying out of the book of Psalms 23, verse 1. And the title of this prayer is Jesus, You are my shepherd. Let me rest in you tonight. How lovely is that, Father? I thank you to all the listeners across the world that are praying with us, that are sending, dear God, prayers in, that are listening to the archives of these podcasts and prayers. I thank you to everybody on RB Christian Radio, everybody, dear God, that is encouraging us, everyone that is walking with us. So, Lord, as we lock in and thank you to everybody that is sowing a financial seed into this ministry. May the love of God be over your lives.
Father, I pray that we will recognize tonight that Jesus is our shepherd. Lord, it's not the leaders of the denominations, it's not the leaders of those types of lives that we see outside the window of life. Lord, it's not the earthlings, it's not the human beings. Lord, you are our shepherd. It's not our family, it's not our friends, it's not the church, it's not the pastors. Yes, we understand, God, that they are shepherds, but Lord, you are the good shepherd. And right now, Lord, I pray that you will look after us because Lord, out on the field, the sheep need protecting from the bears and the lions. And Lord, I recognize there is a story in the book called the Bible. That there is a story, God. I just want to remind you that David looked after the sheep. And Lord, I thank you that you look after us. And right now, I pray, Lord, because there are many of us that are like sheep that sometimes wander, that get lost, dear God, in the thicket, that get lost on the rock face of life, dear God, and we wander off. So Lord, I thank you that the prodigals are returning. And Lord, I pray for healing. I pray for hearts tonight. I thank you that you are our shepherd and we lack nothing. So Lord, we lean into Psalm 23, verse 1. The Lord is my shepherd. Look in the mirror of life and tell your world and tell yourself that Jesus is your shepherd and you lack nothing.
That God has everything in the palm of his hand. Do not look at the shipping lanes, do not look and listen to the price of oil. Do not worry about the forecall of life. Do not worry about what's happening in the world. Jesus Christ is with you, and he is your shepherd. He is your El Shaddai. He is Jehovah Jirah. He is Jehovah Nisi. He is the Lion of Judah. And as you are in the field of life, from the battlefield to the ballroom, to every scenario, to every sunset, Jesus, lead us into stillness. Cover us with your peace. Quiet in every thought that rises and tries to follow me into the darkness of this night. Father, as our eyelids are closing, as the weariness of our heart comes to the end of the day, Lord, I pray where there's restlessness, bring calm. Where there's heaviness,
bring freedom. Lord, where there's uncertainty, Lord, remind us that we lack nothing. Father, from the battlefield to this broadcasting studio, as we broadcast out to Brazil, all the way back to London, Argentina, Mexico, Spain, and South Africa, wherever you are, whatever your tribe, whatever your language, whatever the rhythm of your life looks like, I pray that peace will rest over you at this hour and we will realize that we are safe, God is providing, and there is peace.
