Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper. Wherever you are in the world, thank you for making daily prayer part of your life and part of your day. The rhythm, the bounce, come on, we're gonna pray together. Whatever life looks like, everything is okay.
We are in Philippians 4, verse 13. This is where the title of this prayer is coming from, and it is Jesus, strengthen me to finish this day well. Yes, Lord, Father, we've had a run today. It has been a battle, Lord. We've been wrestling, Lord, bear, lion, and tiger in the field of life. Father, Lord, we've had everything to deal with under the sun. But Lord, we thank you that you are gonna give us these areas. You're gonna give us strength, you're gonna give us endurance, and you're gonna give us provision.
Let's lock in prayer. Father, I thank you that wherever we are, Lord. I pray for calmness, I pray for stillness. But Jesus, strengthen us to finish this day well. Lord, strengthen our bones. Lord, Holy Spirit, come right now. When we're feeling tired and we're feeling weary, Lord, if we are feeling weary, renew the strength. Lord, if we feel the heaviness of this day, lift the heaviness. Lord, if we are feeling drained, Lord, I pray that you will restore us before all is lost. But Lord, we thank you that there is nothing lost in the kingdom of God. So Jesus, strengthen us to finish this day well. Lord, we need strength, we need endurance, and Lord, we thank you that you are providing. There is always provision in you, Jesus. There is always a way forward. And Jesus, we want to make you the center of our lives. And Father, thank you for everything in our lives.
But Lord, right now we just pray. We just pray, dear God, on the commute home. We pray as we're still at the desk. We pray as we're at the washing machine. We pray as we're at the cooker. We pray, dear God, as we're getting the house ready for the family. We pray, dear God, as we're in the traffic jam of life. We pray as we're in the passenger jet crisscrossing the globe. Father, we pray, dear God, as we just sit in the stillness of our house. Lord, we are asking you right now for strength. We're looking for endurance, and we thank you for the provision that's already here. We thank you that you are providing, that you are a way maker. Dear God, I thank you, dear God, that the River Jordan has been parted. I thank you, Lord, that we are walking into the promised land. I thank you, dear God, that Jericho is falling. Lord, I thank you that we hear the sound of Jericho falling. I thank you, Lord God, that the love of God is
over our lives. And Lord, we want to lean into the great book of Philippians 4. Lord, we want to lean into verse 13 and help us to lean into the scripture. Lord, we don't want to lean and put all of our life and everything into social media. We don't want to listen to the news channels. We don't want to get concerned with the shipping lanes of life. Lord, we want to fix our eyes on Jesus. And Lord, tell us right now what the scripture says. I can do all things through him that gives me strength. And Lord, we need strength. Father, from the battlefield to the boardroom, we need strength. Father, from the field of life, dear God, to the washing machine, we need strength. Lord, to the drive home to the drive-in, we need strength. And Lord, will you give us, Lord, strength to endure? Lord, as we go through the fiery furnace, as we walk through the valley, Lord, as we walk down the corridor of life, Lord, we believe that all things are possible to those who believe. And we believe right now. Lord, at this hour, we believe across the world. Lord, wherever we are, we believe. We believe in scripture. We believe in the love of God. We believe in the resurrection power of Jesus Christ. So, Father, I thank you that you will give us stability and you will give us hope. Father, as we stretch out from London all the way to Colombia, Peru, Spain, America, South Africa, but right now, from the battlefield to the boardroom to the field
of life. Bless the listeners on RB Christian Radio. Thank you to everybody, Lord. Lord, bless everyone that is sowing a prayer into this ministry. Bless everybody that is sowing a financial seed into this ministry. Everybody that is listening to the sound of my voice now and in the back archives. Let the Spirit of God carry you wherever you are. Don't go too far. Come on, let's lock in and let's remind ourselves that Philippians 4, verse 13 is for each and every one of us. I can do all things through him who gives me strength. Don't ever give up. God is with you. Come on, follow me to the next prayer. Let's get straight in. God bless.
