Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper, wherever you are across this beautiful earth, thank God for your life. Thank God that you're making daily prayer part of your life and your journey. Wherever you are, thank God for you. Come on, we're in a rhythm, we're journeying together, and the journey is with Jesus Christ. We're praying together, we're walking together, we're standing together, we're carrying
each other in prayer. The title of this prayer is coming out of that great book of Isaiah 41, verse 10. Jesus, remove my fear. Jesus, remove my fear and hold me through this night. Come on, Father, I thank you for everyone at this hour. And right now, Lord, remove the fear. Father, the suitcases of history, the rucksack of yesterday, the rucksack of six months, the rucksack of a year, the rucksack of a lifetime. Father, we can't get this rucksack off of doubt, fear, worry, uncertainty, panic. But Lord, we believe that there is a new beginning for each and every one of us. So Jesus, remove my fear. Lord, I've got suitcases of fear. I've got suitcases of doubt. I've got suitcases
of being scared and worried about what I see on the news channels. Lord, I'm worried about, dear God, certain things happening in the UK, certain things around the world. Lord, I don't want to lock onto social media because Lord, that just fills my suitcase up even more. Lord, I want these suitcases to go. And will you help me to surrender? Lord, I need you right now to remove the fear. I need more trust, and I've got to learn to surrender. So Lord, at this hour, we come to you. And Father, we thank you as night deepens. Lord, I pray as fear tries to lift. I pray, Lord, that you will crush it in the greatest name in heaven and earth. So Lord, we lean in to Isaiah 41. Lord, we pray through Isaiah 41, verse 10. So do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand, Father, as we have walked and as we have walked, sorry, down the corridor
of life today. Lord, as we have just got ourselves, Father, into certain skirmishes through social media, through HR at work, through the rhythm of life. Father, we've we've got ourselves down a rabbit hole. Lord, we've gone down the wrong corridor. Lord, we've made mistakes. Lord, we've said things, acted things, done things. And right now, Lord, Father, we've acted in haste. We've acted in fear. Well, Lord, help us not to act in panic and fear and doubt. Help us to be calm. Help us not to walk in arrogance, bitterness, worry, doubt, being judgmental. But help us right now, Lord, remove this fear because Lord, when fear comes in, it changes our character, Jesus. When fear comes in, Lord, it makes us a bit odd. It makes us tense. And Lord, I want you to hold every listener tonight. Lord, I want you to hold every listener through this night. Please, Jesus, I pray. Jesus, remove the fear and hold everyone close. Lord, I pray that you will wrap your arms around everyone. All those that are on the commute run home. All those, dear God, that are cooking and looking after the family. All those that are tired and just feel that they've lost their purpose. Let them know that you are with them. Father, I pray for everyone in the battlefield of life that you will strengthen them and carry them. Lord, whatever tribe, whatever language, whatever area of life we're from, Father, I pray as we broadcast out, as we stretch out from the studio to Mexico, Spain and France, America and Israel. Lord, as we crisscross the globe, as we lock shields of faith together, Lord, we believe in miracles. We believe in the power of God. But Lord, at this hour, Lord, as the eyelids of the UK start to close, Father, as we get ready to try and find a place of rest. Father, will you strengthen us? Will you carry us from the battlefield to the boardroom, to the field of life, to the rock face of life? Lord, as we climb life itself, Father, we need you. But right now, Jesus, remove our fear and hold me through the night. May the Lord carry you wherever you are across this world.
