Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper, wherever you are at this hour. Thank God for your life. Thank God that you are making daily prayer part of your journey, part of our lives, that we are woven together through the power of prayer wherever you are. And also I want to say thank you for standing with me when I make mistakes, you know, when I stumble and slide through the vocabulary. But the Lord God is with us wherever we are. We're never going to give up. We never edit these prayers, we never shape them, we never mold them into something that's crafted, beautiful. They are literally raw straight out of the barrel of truth.
Come on, we're jumping into Psalm 23, verse 1. This is the title of this prayer, Jesus, you are my shepherd. Let me rest in peace tonight. Holy Spirit, you are our shepherd, and let me rest in peace tonight. Father, we need rest. Help us to surrender and help us to find that security.
Because Lord, we have got to be honest. We look, dear God, across the platform world. And Holy Spirit, we feel very unsecure. And Lord, if I keep watching the news, if I keep locking
into social media, and Lord, if I keep thinking that everybody else is living the dream, Lord, I'm gonna feel very unsecure in my own identity. And right now, Lord, I gotta remind myself and the listeners that you are our shepherd. And Lord, in every area of our lives right now, we lack nothing. So Lord, I pray that I won't look at the social medias and dear God, look at everybody else and think, oh woe is me. I won't look at the news channels and think, oh Lord, help. But Lord, I will look into scripture and Lord, I will pray and say thank you, Father, that you are our shepherd. And Lord, help me to rest in your peace tonight. So Father, I pray as we seek ye first the kingdom of God and thy righteousness, I thank you that everything else shall be added unto thee. Lord, will you lead us into stillness? Will you cover us with peace? Well, Lord, will you quieten every thought that follows us into the night? Lord, I pray, Lord, if we're feeling restless, that you will bring calm. Lord, if we feel the heaviness of life, will you bring release? Lord, if we are feeling very uncertain, will you help us and will you remind us that you are with us and we lack nothing? That Jesus is our shepherd and we trust in you.
But Lord, as we broadcast across the world, as we pray together, as we lock with the world right now, Lord, wherever these listeners are, I thank you for their lives. I thank you for their faithfulness. I thank you, Lord, that they're walking with us in this daily prayer. But right now, bless those that are prime with us, bless those that are sowing a financial seed, bless those, dear God, that are listening to RB Radio, bless those that are in the archives, bless those that are that are carrying this bounce with me right now at the 11 p.m. hour in London. Father, I thank you, wherever we are from Brazil, all the way to Spain, all the way to South Africa, all the way around the world. Father, I thank you from the battlefield to the boardroom, to the field of life, Father, that we lack no good thing, and the love of God is
over our lives. Lord, I pray for healing. I pray for healing in everybody, every mind, every soul. And Lord, every area of brokenness, Lord, we pray that every area of brokenness will be healed. And Lord, when we realize that you are our shepherd, Lord, when we realize that you are our king, Lord, suddenly all things, Lord, it's like the light has been switched on. Lord, it's like a light bulb moment because you are the light of the world. And Lord, at this gentle hour, we pray for the rhythm. And Lord, whatever the walk has been today, through the corridor of life, dear God, through the through the cave of life, through the worry of life, dear God, as we've skipped through the day, Lord, as we've cried through the day, we've mourned through the day, I pray that we will realize that you are our shepherd and we lack
nothing. Psalm 23, verse 1 The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. Father, as our eyelids close in the UK, Father, as the sun rises across the world, as the rain falls, as the sun shines, as the moon is in the heavens above, you are our shepherd, and we lack nothing. May the Spirit of the Lord carry you. Journey with me. I will catch you at the next prayer. God bless.
