Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper. Wherever you are in the world, thank God for your life. You know, do not be afraid. Do not be discouraged, for the love of God is with you. It is 10 p.m. here in London. Wherever you are, the love of God is over your life. Don't be discouraged. Try not to live in fear. I'm telling you now, don't ever give up in prayer. I know you're tired. I know you're weary, you're emotional, you're tired, and we all need a reset.
Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank you for every listener right now. But strengthen us, Lord. We need to be recalibrated. Lord, I pray, Lord God, for everyone under the sound of my voice that you will bless them in the wonderful name
of Jesus. Sisters and brothers, we're jumping to Isaiah 41, verse 10. The title of this prayer is Jesus, remove my fear and hold me close tonight. Jesus, remove my fear and hold me close tonight. Father, I thank you that the listeners stand with me for every trial, for every situation. Father, through every rhythm of life, Lord, we come to you.
And Lord, there are three areas where we need you right now. We need you to remove the fear. We need more trust. And dear God, we need reassurance. Lord, because we watch the news, we listen to the socials. Holy Spirit, we get caught in conversations at work. And Lord, I pray, Lord, that you remove the fear of now, tomorrow, and what might be. But Lord, you tell us through the beautiful book of Isaiah 41, verse 10. So do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Father, will you rebuild our hope? For those that feel hopeless, for those that feel really fearful, for those that feel really scared, for those that are not sleeping, for those, dear God, that are putting on a brave face. For those, dear God, that are watching the news and listening for the latest next disaster to happen. Lord, I pray that we won't watch the news and wait for the next thing to happen, but we will look to Jesus Christ. I pray, Lord, as we press in prayer. Lord, where there is worry, bring peace. Where there is uncertainty, bring assurance. Where there is heaviness, bring rest. Lord, we thank
you. As we stretch out from the four corners of this world, Lord, as we lock in together, Lord, as we crisscross the globe together right now, Lord, as evening settles across London, Father, we pray for Saint Paolo. We pray for New York, Manila, Mumbai, Johannesburg. Lord, we are praying. Lord, for every area, every culture, every tribe, every language. We are praying for every nation right now, Lord. We're praying for every war zone of life. We're praying for the trouble. We're praying for the trench of life. Father, as we skate, as we skate across the ice of life, Father, it feels thin. Lord, the ice of life feels so thin. Lord, sometimes we feel that we're skating on thin ice. And Holy Spirit, Lord, will you be our refuge? Holy Spirit, will you be our strength? Holy Spirit, be our rock tonight. And Lord, whatever we face, we face it in power. We face it in authority. We face it in faith. And Lord, I thank you right now. Lord, where we feel scared, bring your presence. Where there is an unsettling feeling, bring peace. Lord, where we're unsure, bring hope
tonight. But Father, we thank you that the word of God is over our lives. And Lord, as we try to rest, Lord, as the eyelids of the UK close very slowly. Father, I pray for those that are still cooking, for those that are still working, for those that have got their lid open on their laptop, for those on the other side of the world. Father, as the sun sets, as the sun rises, as the rain falls, as the snow falls, dear God, as the stars are in the heavens above. Lord, as the moon shines in the heavens above, Lord, you are the God above all gods. But Jesus, remove my fear and hold me tonight. Holy Spirit, remove my fear and hold me tonight. From the battlefield to the boardroom, to the shopping trolley, to the shipping lanes of life, to the aircrafts, to the cars, to the vans, to the rhythm of life wherever you are. Don't go too far.
