Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Man Cooper, wherever you are in the world. Thank you for making daily prayer part of your life and part of your day. We are praying together across the globe. Through each day, through each moment, we are connected. Come on, we're on a journey. We're going to jump straight into
prayer. We're coming out of that great book of Psalm 23, verse 1. This is the title of this prayer, Jesus, you are my shepherd. Let me rest without fear. Holy Spirit, that is so simple. Lord, you are our shepherd. You are the good shepherd. And Lord, I pray that we will rest without fear. Lord, that we will surrender. And Lord, sometimes it is so difficult to surrender. Lord, it is so difficult, dear God, to find that place of Saint Jesus. So Lord, I pray, and we call on the name now, Jesus. You are our shepherd. We lack nothing.
So Lord, I pray that we won't lock on to what the world is doing. But Lord, that we will read the Word of God and we will pray. Lord, that we will turn open to the great book, Lord God. We will open up to Psalm 23. We will read those six verses, that we will just read, dear God, Psalm 23. The Lord is my shepherd. Lord, I pray, Lord, that we will gravitate to the Word of God. I pray that we will feel your love like never before. Lord, I pray for every moment, for every burden, for every thought. Lord, that we will find release tonight. And Lord, just remind us that you are our God. Just remind us that everything is okay. Just remind us, Lord, to let go. Help us to let go.
Lord, we're holding on to so much stuff. Lord, we look at our lives, Jesus, and it looks like an unfinished jigsaw. And Lord, we've got many, many pieces missing in the jigsaw. And Holy Spirit, I pray, Lord, as we look at the jigsaw of life, Lord, that we won't try and make things fit where they don't fit. But Lord, where they don't fit, we won't force them to fit. But Lord, that we will say, Jesus, will you show me the way? Lord, will you show me the right peace? Lord, will you show me the right bounce? Will you show me the right rhythm? Lord, will you show me the right corridor? Will you show me the way to go?
Because Lord, you are my shepherd. And so often, Lord, I go ahead of the shepherd. And so often, Lord, I find myself in an area I shouldn't be in. So often, Lord, we find ourselves in situations. So often we find ourselves in trials and tribulations. And Lord, we say, Jesus, where are you? And Lord, we hear your voice. We hear your voice, God. We hear your voice calling us. And right now we need to hear that voice. That Jehovah Jirah, we need to hear the line of Judah. Because Lord, we're tired. Lord, the eyelids of the UK are closing. We pray for those that are getting ready for their night shift. Those, dear God, that are still trying to put the children to bed, that are just trying to get the home tidy and clean. Lord, I pray, Lord, from the monotony of life. Lord, that this robotic way, Lord, we don't want to live in a robotic way. We want to live in freedom. So, Father, from the four corners of this world, Lord, as night settles across London, all the way to New York, all the way to Delhi, all the way to Amsterdam, Lord, the rhythm of God is with you. Lord, you are our shepherd. You are our peace. You are our rest. And Lord, I pray tonight that we will sleep in
peace and not in fear. That we will sleep in hope and not in doubt. So the rhythm of God, Lord, I pray. Lord, as we get ready, dear God, Lord, as we get ourselves, dear God, as we're just sitting on the edge of the bed. Lord, we got our heads in our hands. Lord, we're sitting on the sofa. We're still in traffic. Lord, as the sun has risen as the sun sets, Lord, as eyes are opening as eyes are closing. Lord, I pray that we will capture the rhythm of God. And Lord, lead us into rest. Cover us with peace. And let your presence bring deep calm to us tonight. Father, I thank you for the listeners across the world. All those on RB Christian Radio, all those that are praying for us, all those that are in the archives of these podcasts, and all those, dear God, that are sowing a financial seed into this ministry. Wherever you are, don't you ever give up. The Lord is your shepherd. We lack nothing. I will catch you at the midnight hour. God bless.
