Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper. Wherever you are across this world, the love of God is over your life. Thank you for making daily prayer part of your life and part of your day. We're going to lock in, we're going to stay connected, we're going to stay in for these four or five minutes of prayer, and we're going to journey together right now.
We're jumping straight into the great book of Psalms 4, verse 8. And the title is Jesus Cover Me in Stillness and Let My Body Rest Without
Fear. Holy Spirit, I pray that you will cover us. Lord, that you will cover us in stillness and let our body, Lord God, rest without fear. Father, we don't want to carry fear. Lord, we don't want to carry the tenseness of the day. Lord, we don't want to carry, dear God, these panic attacks, these fears, these uncertain moments. Lord, we want to walk in the glory of God. And Jesus, cover me. Cover us with the stillness of heaven. Lord, we want to feel the rhythm of God. We want to feel the power of the word of God. Lord, we are stretching out to you
right now. Lord, it's been a fierce day today. Lord, it is 12 a.m. Jesus. And Lord, we are really tired. And Lord, I pray that you'll help us to close the laptop of life. Lord, that we will close the laptop of work. Lord, that we will close our minds off and we will focus on Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. But Jesus, Holy Spirit, as we stretch out, as we come to you, Lord, in these early hours, Father, in these moments, Father, Lord, in the lateness of the day, in the earliness of tomorrow, in the eagerness, dear God, just to release the fear and the worry and the doubt. Holy Spirit, cover me in the stillness of your glory. Holy Spirit, cover us in your presence. Lord, let our bodies, Lord God, let our bodies find a place to rest. Lord, we are tense and we are weary. Lord, our backs are right and our fingers are sore. Lord, we've run through life, we've crawled through life. Lord, we've cried through life. And today, Lord, as we come to this hour, Lord, we are expecting breakthrough. We're expecting miracles. Father, as we as we stretch out, as we broadcast with the listeners, as we lock in with shields of faith from London to Saint Paulo, to America, to Mexico, Milan, and Madrid. Lord, we're praying for the love of God. Lord,
we want these night fears to go. Lord, we want these shadows of darkness to go. Lord, we want the night anxiety, the night sweats, the night worries, the night tremors, the night doubts. Lord, we want this to go. Lord, and we need to sleep. So, Father, I pray for every listener that is with me right now. Thank you, Father, that they're praying for us. Thank you, Lord, for their sowing a prayer into this ministry. Thank you for those that are sowing a financial seed. Those, dear God, that are praying and standing. Lord, we walk together right now. Bless those on RB Christian Radio.
Touch those, Lord, in the archives of the prayers and the podcast. Father, we need to sleep. Lord, I pray that you will help us to close the lid of the computer. Lord, that we will turn the iPad off, that we will turn the device off. Lord, that we will stop scrolling through social media. Lord,
I pray as we come to you right now, we won't lock on to the price of a barrel of oil right now. Lord, we won't allow the fear of what might be. But Lord, I
pray, Lord, give us stillness through this hour. Our Holy Spirit, I thank you as we stretch out, Lord, from the four corners of this world, whatever tribe, whatever village, whatever rhythm of our life is, Father, bring peace, bring hope from the battlefield to the boardroom, from the boardroom to the night time, from the night time to the morning. I pray that the love of God, wherever you are right now, that the Spirit of the Lord will be over you.
Jesus, you tell us in Psalm 4, verse 8 in peace I will lie down and sleep. For you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.
Wherever you are across this world, don't ever give up. Please join me at the next prayer. Come on, join me.
