Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper. Wherever you are in the world, thank God for making daily prayer part of your life and the rhythm of your day. We're gonna lock in. We are staying connected across the world. There are trials, there are tribulations, but we gotta endure. You got fatigue, I got fatigue, we're tired, we're worried about the barrel of oil, the shipping lanes. We look at the world and we think, Lord, what is going on? But let's not look at the world, let's look at Jesus Christ. Good evening, good morning, good
afternoon. Come on, let's get straight into Philippians 4, verse 13. The title is Jesus Renew my strength and help me finish this day strong. Yes, God, Father. Right now, the eyelids are starting to close. Lord, our hands are aching, our backs are weary, Lord, our arms are tired. Lord, we got brain fog. We're tired, we're weary. But right now, Lord, I pray that we will feel the divine power of God. Lord, we believe in Philippians 4, verse 13, I can do all things through Him who gives me strength. Lord, I need this. Lord, I need the rhythm of the Word. Right now, Lord, Father, as the day starts to draw to a close, Lord, I feel the weight, dear God, that we've been carrying all day, the responsibilities, the efforts, the energy spent in certain situations. Father, I pray that you will remove this natural tiredness, this weariness, this heaviness. Lord, remind my heart that you are our God and you are our king. But Jesus, renew my strength and help me finish this day strong. Father, we want to walk in the power of God. Lord, we want to walk in the power of the Holy
Spirit. Lord, right now, Lord, we're gonna undo the windows in the car and the van. Lord, on the commute home, we're gonna tell the people in the traffic jam that we love Jesus Christ. Tell the world around you that the king is with you. Tell those at work right now, as you commute home, wherever you are, the spirit of the Lord is on the train, the spirit of the Lord is on the bus. The spirit of the Lord is in the van. The spirit of the Lord is on the motorway. The spirit of the Lord is in your life. He's omnipresent, he's omnipotent, he is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. He is your healing God. He is the God that is providing. He is going to give you strength right now. Wherever you are. Come on, let's hit this. Come on, Jesus. We need you right now. Jesus, we call you down into our arena. We call you down, dear God, onto the front seat of the van. Lord, we call you down into the commute home. Lord, we call you down into the kitchen of life. We call you down, dear God, into the office at work. We call you down right now, God. And we say, Lord, you tell us that you never leave us nor forsake us. But right now, Lord, we got work stress. Lord, we're under pressure right now. We're tired and we're weary. Lord, I don't know how I'm gonna get home. Lord, my eyes are flaking, my hands are tired, my backs are aching, my legs are aching. Lord, I'm tired and fed up. Lord, I got a bit of grit under the skin. And right now, Lord, as we stretch out across the world, Jesus, strengthen me. Holy Spirit, lead us. God, guide us. We need your love and your mercy. Lord, help us to have endurance. Lord, put endurance in these bones. Lord, put endurance in the skin. Put endurance in our heart right now. Lord, we got fatigue. We are weary and we are tired. But Lord, I pray that you will remove the evening fatigue. Lord, that you will give us strength to finish today. Lord, we're praying, Lord God, it's even tough to pray right now, Lord. We need this endurance prayer.
Lord, the stresses of life, Lord, are weighing us down, the battlefield of the mind. Lord, we need your love, your grace, your mercy. Lord, as we broadcast out of London, right to Houston, right to Bronaceris, right the way to Manila, all the way to Brazil. Father, we thank you, dear God, for Peru. But right now we need the fire. We need the love of God. Father, as the sun rises as the sun sets, Lord, as the waves come in on the shore of life, the spirit of the Lord is with every one of us. But Jesus, let me remind myself that Philippians 4, verse 13 is for each and every one of us. I can do all things through him. I can do all things through him who gives me strength. Right now, Jesus, we need strength. Right now, Lord, we need guidance. Right now, Lord, from the battlefield to the valley of the shadow of death. Lord, from the valley of the shadow of death to the Passover table, from the Passover table to the washing machine, to the shopping trolley, to the scaffold of life, Lord, to the aircraft, to the walk in the woods, Father, with the children and dog, Spirit of the Living God, wherever we are at the gym, at the ballroom. Father, whatever we are doing, Lord, as we walk our way through life, as we dance our way through, as we crawl our way through, Lord, give us energy in the greatest name in heaven and earth.
