Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper. Wherever you are in the world, whatever your time zone is, whatever the angle is of life over you right now, I pray and I thank you that you're making daily prayer part of your life and the rhythm of your day. As we're locking in together across the globe, as our eyelids are closing, as the day has been fierce and tiring, please don't ever, ever give up. Jesus Christ is with you. Let's journey together. Come on, let's lock
in. We're coming out of that great book of Isaiah 41, verse 10. This is the title, Jesus, stand with me. Holy Spirit, stand with me and silent every fear that rises in the night. Dear God, I pray that you will stand with us and silent every fear that rises in the midnight hour. Holy Spirit, Lord, as we are two hours off of 12 a.m. Lord, as the rhythm of God is in our lives. Father Lord, it has been a fierce day today. Lord, I pray, dear God, for the stillness of today. I pray right now for the stillness
of this hour. Lord, I pray that you will remove those racing thoughts, those anxious thoughts, those doubts, those areas of fear. Lord, I pray right now as we put a smile on for everyone around us. Lord, as we come to the cross right now, Lord, it has been a long day. And you tell us through the great book of Isaiah 41, 10. So do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Father, we need you. Lord, as this night deepens, I pray for our surroundings. Lord, I come to the cross right now. And Lord, I don't want this fear to rise in my spirit. Lord, this quiet moment, Lord, can be quite scary. Sometimes in the quietness of life, Father, I feel, dear God, the volcanic eruption of doubt, Lord. I feel the volcanic eruption just starting in my belly, Lord. Lord, I've got those feelings of being uncertain. I've got those feelings of doubtfulness. I've got those feelings of being scared, worried about the forecourt price of the diesel and the petrol. Lord, we're worried about the electric. We're worried about the gas. Lord, we're worried about our jobs. Will you help us right now? Lord, will you bring calmness to everyone under the sound of my voice?
Lord, we believe in miracles. And I pray for those that feel very unwell right now. I pray, dear God, that you will heal every one of us, that mental health will be healed, that fear will be healed. Lord, that our bodies will be healed. I pray, Lord, that we will walk. I pray that we will stand up and be strong. I pray for those in prison. I pray for those on palliative care. Those, dear God, that are holding out, Lord, for a miracle. I pray for those that are scared about their healing, their worries, their lives. Lord, I pray for those, dear God, that are in a hospital at this moment. I pray for those that are on end-of-life care at home. Lord, will you stretch out? Lord, I pray right now as we're waiting on results. Lord, as we're going to the doctors, as we're listening to results, Lord, I pray that whenever they capture this time zone of this prayer, Lord, I believe in
healing. So Jesus, through the fear that starts to rise, Lord, through the panic that starts to lift, I pray that you will give us stability in our thoughts. Lord, will you bring a firmness? Lord, will you bring that foundation? Lord, will you put our feet upon the rock? Lord, we need Jesus to be our first and our last. We need to be in the kingdom of God. Lord, I rest in your strength. I trust in your presence. Lord, I need you right now. God, we call on your name. Jesus, stand with us at this hour, wherever we are, from the four corners of this world, as we broadcast right out across the world, all the way to Atlanta, all the way to Kansas, all the way to America and Australia, and back to London. Lord, I pray that the love of God will be over our lives. Dear God, from the battlefield to the computer. I pray, Lord, that we will close the lid right now. Lord, as our eyelids are closing, Lord, help us to close the lid on today. Help us to put the laptop of life to the side and rest and pray. May the Spirit of the Lord be with you wherever
you are. Let's just remind ourselves. We've been in the beautiful book of Isaiah 41, verse 10. Jesus, stand with me and silent every fear that rises tonight. God is with you. Join me at the midnight hour. Come on.
