Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper, wherever you are in the world. Thank God that you're making daily prayer part of your life and part of your day. Wherever you are, as we crisscross the globe together, we are staying connected through the journey of prayer. Without further ado, the title of this prayer is coming from the book of Isaiah 41, verse 10. And it is Jesus. Remove my fear and hold me secure tonight.
Father, we thank you for the love of God. We thank you for your presence, your mercy, your saving grace. And right now, Holy Spirit, as we lean in to the cross of Calvary, Lord, as we lean into Scripture, Lord, there's nowhere else to go. Remove my fear and hold me secure tonight. Holy Spirit, hold us secure tonight. Lord, we are tired. Our eyes are closing. The eyelids, dear God, are struggling to keep our eyes open. Lord, we are weary of life. Lord, we got money issues. We got family issues. We got children issues, work issues, life issues, mental health issues, physical issues. Lord, there are issues all around. And Father, we got many plates spinning tonight. And Lord, we need to calm. Lord, we are worried. Lord, we're on a commute and we're worried. Lord, we're on our way home and we're scared. Lord, we're just putting some fuel in the car. Lord, and we're looking at the price of diesel and petrol. Lord, we're listening to what's happening to the shipping lanes in certain areas of the world. Father, we are listening to the political
drive. Father, help us not to listen to what the political language is at this moment, but help us to lock into scripture. I pray, dear God, that we will turn our worry into prayer. Lord, that every worry and every thought, Lord, instead of worrying, we'll say, Jesus, will you help me at this moment? Lord, I'm on my way home. Lord, I'm at my desk. I'm scared. I'm at school, Lord. I'm walking back, Lord, to home right now. And Lord, I need you to lift this fear. Lord, I need to feel secure. Lord, I need to feel your love, your mercy, your saving grace. And Lord, wherever we are, Lord, from the battlefield to the boardroom, to the field of life, Father, we are praying for the fire of God and the love of God. But Jesus, give us structure. Lord, I pray that the divine will get into our heart tonight, in our bones and in our skin. I pray for those that feel really sad and really scared and really worried. Lord, that our hearts will smile and we will feel the power of the Holy Spirit. Lord, wherever we are on the battlefield of life, Father, we got fatigue. Lord, we got emotional fatigue. We got financial fatigue. Lord, we pray right now that the love of God, that Jesus, Lord, God, come into our heart right now. Father, we are anxious. Lord, we don't want to be anxious. We want to find
freedom. Lord, you tell us through that great book of Isaiah, Isaiah 41, verse 10. So do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Father, I thank you. But Lord, I also lean into Exodus 14, verse 14. The Lord will fight for you. You only need be still, Jesus. Lord, will you remind me of that scripture? Lord, that the battle belongs to you, Lord. Lord, this is a fierce life. Lord, this is a fierce rhythm. Lord, we are listening to the sound of rockets. We're listening to the sound of helicopters. We're listening to the sound of the battle cry, the war jets. Holy Spirit, we need you in our lives. Father, as we stretch out from London all the way to Port Paulo, all the way to Miami, all the way to Kansas, Manila, Barcelona, and France. We need your love around the world. Father, will you hold us tonight? Jesus, will you remove the fear and will you hold us secure? We need the love of God and the presence of God in our lives. Father, we come to the cross of Calvary from the battlefield to the boardroom,
from the boardroom to the hoover, to the bed to the car, to the rhythm of life. Holy Spirit, I pray that we will close the laptop lid on our lives. Lord, as we look at the jigsaw puzzle of life, Father, there are many pieces missing, but our life is secure in you tonight. So, Father, we thank you that you shall reveal everything that we need to know. And Lord, as we penel out, I pray that you will bless the listeners from the crown of their head to the sole of their feet, that they will feel the love of Jesus like
