Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper. Wherever you are in the world, we thank God for your life and making daily prayer part of that life and part of the rhythm of your day. Let's stay connected, let's journey, let's jump straight into
prayer. And the title of this prayer is coming out of the great book of Joshua, chapter 1, verse 9. Jesus, activate courage within me and position my steps for this day ahead. Holy God that you are. Activate courage within me and position my steps for this day ahead.
Father, we come to you as we criss-cross the globe today. Father, as we get ready, Father, as the sun is going to rise any moment, Father, as we knock the alarm clock off, Lord, as we kick the duvet off, Lord, as we get ready for the rhythm of this day, help us to be strong and to be bold. But Lord, I want to say thank you to the listeners across the world. Thank you for those that are praying for us. Thank you for those that are standing with us, those that are sowing a financial seed, those that are on RB Christian Radio, those that are in the archives, those, dear God, that are being bold with us. Lord, as we crisscross the globe with the power of prayer, Jesus, will you activate the courage within us? Lord, activate that courage. Father, we want to feel it, dear God, like a volcanic eruption. Lord, we want to feel the courage coming up. Lord, from our belly. Out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water. Father, from the four corners of this world. Lord, as we live stream, Father, as we broadcast out. Lord, as we touch the corners of the world, Father, we lock shields today. Lord, we believe that there is courage rising within us. Lord, we believe that the Holy Spirit is leading us. Lord, that we believe that you are positioning our steps for this day. We thank you that today is a good day. Today is a new beginning. Father, I pray that we will feel the love of God, that our faith will grow, and today that we will overcome every fear, that we will start strong in the name of Jesus. Lord, that you'll give us courage for today. Lord, we need strength for this hour. Lord, as the sun is going to rise as the sun sets across the world. Father, as we get ourselves ready for work, ready for the rhythm of the day, whatever life looks like, Father, from the battlefield to the boardroom, to the field of life, to the coffee run, to the school run, Lord, we're calling on the greatest name in heaven and earth. And Lord, as we get ready for this day, Lord, we lean into the beautiful book of Joshua, chapter 1, verse
9. Have I not commanded you, be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid. Do not be discouraged. For the Lord thy God will be with you wherever you go. Lord, we need strength today. Lord, we're facing inner battles, external battles. But Lord, we come into the arena of life. Lord, we come in bold, braggadocious. And Lord, we believe as we kick the duvet off. Lord, as the alarm goes off, Lord, we wipe the sleep out of our eyes. Lord, we pull the curtains back on today and we say, Yes, Lord, today is a good day. Lord, I thank you that we shall soar on wings like eagles. Father, I thank you that you're with us in the valley of uncertainty. You're with us in every scenario under the sun. But we come to you, Lord, and we say, Jesus, from the four corners of the world, as we broadcast from London all the way, dear God, to Mumbai, from Mumbai, dear God, to Tel Aviv, from Tel Aviv, all the way to Australia, all the way to Brazil, all the way to Peru.
Lord, we're praying right now for South America. We're praying, dear God, for the Middle East. We're praying for the love of God over Europe. Lord, we need motivation. We need help. Lord, we need a supercharge from the Holy Spirit. Lord, help us not to be afraid. Help us not to focus, dear God, on the fuel pump. Help us not to look at the diesel. Help us not to look at the petrol price. But Lord, help us, dear God, to look at the cross of Calvary and say, yes, my Redeemer lives, and because he lives, I can face tomorrow. So Lord, from the battlefield to the boardroom, to the field of life, to every sunset, to every rain that falls on our skin that we walk in. Spirit of the living God, I pray that you will fill us to the full measure of thy glory. Lord God, I pray that faith will be activated today. I pray that hope will be activated today, that we will fill the love of God and the spirit of the living God in our lives. Father, wherever we are, bless us from the crown of a head to the sole of thy feet in
