Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Van Cooper, wherever you are in the world. Good morning, good evening, good afternoon. The sun has risen. Whatever the weather system is doing over your life, whatever the seasons of life are blowing your way, the love of God is with you. Whether you're in your midnight hour, whether you're in the early doors, whether you're in the winter, the spring, the summer, or the autumn of life, Jesus Christ is
with you. Without further ado, the title of this prayer is coming out of the great book of Proverbs, chapter 3. And it is Jesus. Override my understanding and precisely direct my decisions today. Holy Spirit, override my understanding and precisely direct my decisions today. Father, we're on a great journey. And the journey is life, the journey is prayer, the journey is hope. And Lord, I pray that you will override our understanding, Lord, and draw us to the cross. Draw us to the word of God. Draw us, dear God, to the power of God. Father, I pray that we won't look at our own understanding, Lord, but we will look at Jesus Christ, that we will look at the word of God. And Father, we will feel your love, your mercy, your saving grace. Lord, we come to you right now and we cry out, Jesus. Lord, we call out Holy Spirit. We call out to the God above all gods. We call out to Yahweh, Jehovah Jirah, Jehovah Nisi.
Father, we pray, Lord, as we stretch out and broadcast out of London to St. Paolo, from St. Paulo to Chicago, from Chicago to Los Angeles, from Los Angeles to Lagos, from Lagos to Madrid. Spirit of the living God, I pray right now. Help us to make the correct decisions in our lives. Father, remove the brain fog. Give us wisdom from God. Lord, we need direction today. We need your love. But Father, we pray through. We pray through Proverbs 3. Father, help us to trust in the Lord with all of our heart and lean not on our own understanding, but in all of our ways, submit ourselves to Thee.
And He will make our path straight. Father, we need you. Lord, we need wisdom. We need guidance. And Lord, as we look at the jigsaw of life, Father, we look at that large puzzle of life and we say, Help, Lord. Father, we got pieces missing. We are trying to put this piece over there, that piece down here. It doesn't fit, it doesn't look right. Father, help us with the jigsaw of life. Lord, help us to not look at the jigsaw. Help us to look at the kingdom of God. We come to you right now, Father, at 9 a.m. from the battlefield to the war zones of life. Father, from the inner battles to the external battles. Lord, down the corridor of confusion. Lord, as we scour the rock face of life, Father, we pray that you will precisely guide our steps. Lord, as we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we will fear no evil, for you are with us. Your rod and your staff, Lord, you guide us, Lord, in the shadow of the valleys. Lord, I thank you that your love is with us. Lord, we need clarity for our lives. We need strength for our lives. But right now, from the battlefield to every situation under the sun, to every scenario under the sun, Lord, we need your love. Jesus, override our understanding. Lord, override every thought, Lord God, that takes us away from the cross. Holy Spirit, precisely direct our decisions. We thank you that the steps of a good person are ordered by the Lord. And as we come to you, Lord, we are expecting healing. Lord, as we come to you in the arena of life, we are expecting the love of God. Lord, at this hour, Father, as the sun has risen, as the rain comes, dear God, as the heavens give way, good God that you are, Spirit of the living God, we cry out. We cry out, Jesus.
Override my understanding and precisely direct my decisions today. Lord, help us at work, help us at school, from the battlefield to the bus stop of life. Father, we pray as we got decisions on the table. Father, we thank you that all is okay because you are our God and you are our King, Spirit of the living God. I pray that you will pour out your love on every listener right now, from those that are in the archives to those, dear God, that are under the sound of my voice right now.
Come, Holy Spirit, lift us. God bless you wherever you are. Don't you ever give up. God is with you. Join me at the next prayer. Come on.
