Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper, wherever you are across this world. Thank you that you're making daily prayer part of your life and part of the rhythm of your day. We are staying connected. I know you're tired. I know you're weary. Don't ever give up. Lock into the word of God.
Without further ado, we're going to pray out of the great book of the Gospel of John, 14 27. And the title is Jesus. Disengage me from every burden and re-center my heart in your peace. Holy Spirit, holy God that you are, disengage us from every burden and recenter my heart
in your peace. Lord, we need peace. Lord, the rhythm of life, the jigsaw of life is tiring. Lord, we're looking for missing pieces. Lord, we can't work this jigsaw out. Lord, we're tired. Father, as the evening starts to creep in, Lord, we are tired. Lord, we need evening peace. Lord, the stress after work, the stress after the children today, through relationships, through life, and just through the rhythm of life itself. Lord, we need a calming moment with you, Jesus.
Father, we feel like that we're that train on that track of life. And Father, as we keep going. Lord, as the wheels on the train keep turning, as the monotony of life keep turning. Father, we feel that we've got too many carriages behind us. Lord, we got so much history. Lord, we cannot uncouple the history that we got. Father, we need for you to disengage our yesterday. Lord, you've got to disengage, dear God, everything on our past because, Lord, this train is tired. Lord, we can't keep these wheels
turning. Lord, will you help us, Father God, to leave everything at the cross of Calvary? Lord, the burdens, Father God, the worries and the fears. Lord, we're worried about the price of diesel. We're worried about the price of petrol. We're worried about what we're hearing about the missiles. We're worried, dear God, about the sound of war. Lord, we got so many burdens. Holy Spirit, we pray as we lean into the Word of God, as we crisscross the globe. Father, will you disengage every burden from our mind?
Lord, the wasteland of the mind, the burdens yesterday, today. Father, we're worried about the future. Lord, we need emotional release. We need peace. Father, from the battlefield to the boardroom. Father, we got emotional fatigue. We are weary and we are worried. Lord, will you take away the worry about finances? Will you take the worry away about our jobs and our future? Lord, we got responsibilities. The pressures are building. Father,
we need you. Lord, we are under pressure and we need freedom. Lord, and our mind feels like it's going to explode. Lord, we can't concentrate. We can't think. Lord, we got brain fog. And right now, Lord, at this hour, we need your love and your mercy and your saving grace.
Lord, help us to let go. Help us to leave it. Help us, dear God, just to leave it, dear God, at the station. Lord, we don't want to, dear God, leave the station anymore, Lord, with baggage. Lord, we don't want to leave the station of life carrying, dear God, carriages of worry, carriages of doubt. Lord, we want to free run. Lord, you tell us that you will know the truth and the truth will set you free. We need freedom. So Lord, I pray for freedom across
this world. Lord, as we broadcast out of London, Lord, as we crisscross the globe, Father, as we pray together through this daily devotional prayer time. Lord, we have fatigue. We are tired and we are burdened. And you have got to lift the weight. Father, from the battle of life, dear God, to the emails, from the emails to the text, dear God, from the rhythm of life to every journey, from every sunset. Lord, as the eyelids are getting tired, our hands are weary. We need the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Father, we stretch out from London all the way, dear God, to Bogota, all the way to Brazil, all the way to Angola, all the way to Argentina, all the way to Peru and Chile. Lord, we pray that you will move through Brazil. Lord, we pray that you will move through every heart that's with me right now. Father, help us to let go of today. Lord, we don't want to carry, dear God, these carriages of worry, the carriages of fear, the doubt, the uncertainty. We need the spirit of the Lord. And Father, Lord, we thank you that you are with us. But Lord, right now, from the battlefield to the washing machine, from the washing machine to the spin dryer, to the river of life, to the ballroom of life. Father, as we climb the rock face of life, give us strength. But Lord, will you take the baggage? Will you take the burdens? Lord, give us a run now of freedom. God loves you. There is freedom in your life. Don't you ever give up. We're peddling out of this. I will catch you at the next prayer. Come on, join with me. Let's go.
