Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper, wherever you are in the world. Thank you for making daily prayer part of your life and part of your day. We're going to stay connected. We are crisscrossing the globe together. We are locked into this daily devotional prayer time together. And we are going to journey and we are going to carry on through the power of prayer. We're not going to give up. We're going
to press in. Right now we're in the book of Philippians 4, verse 6. This is the title, Jesus. Interrupt every anxious pattern and quieten my mind in this moment. Holy Spirit, interrupt every anxious pattern and quieten my mind in this moment. Father, in this moment, our minds need to find a stead place to hold. Father, we need a place where we can rest. Lord, there's got to be a steadfast place. Lord, we need to come to you right now. Lord, and at this hour, Lord, we pray for these anxious patterns for them to go. We pray for these anxious rhythms to go. We pray for this anxiety to dissolve, Lord. Father, we pray that it will dissolve, dear God, like a candle, like wax. We pray that it will melt, dear God. I pray that these worries will melt down like a candle burning through the night. Holy Spirit, I ask you right now that you will remove the anxious pattern, the fears and the doubts. Lord, our body gets into a rhythm and gets into an anxious pattern. And right now, Jesus, interrupt every thought, every area of our lives, every crisscross pattern that comes into our heart right now. Father, as anxiousness crosses over fear, as fear crosses over worry, Lord, as we crisscross certain patterns in our thinking, I pray right now that you will quieten our mind. Lord, I want to say thank you to the listeners at this early hour. I pray that God will give you mental rest. I pray, dear God, that you will bless them through these early doors of this day. Father, cover them in your love. Lord, I thank you that they're walking with me, praying with me. But Lord, these anxious thoughts, these racing thoughts, this overthinking, Lord, this anxious night that we go through hour after hour, evening after evening, day after day, night after night, moment after moment. Lord, our body seems to have a pattern, Lord, of an anxious way. Lord, I pray that all these patterns will be interrupted by the power of the
Holy Spirit. And as we come to you at these early doors, Father, we thank you that you tell us through the great book of Philippians 4, verse 6, do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God. Lord, we come to you right now, and will you keep us in perfect peace? Lord, will you help us to lean into you? Father, will you help us to walk in faith? But wherever we are, whatever nation, whatever country, whatever tribe, whatever language, whatever life looks like through our lens, Father, we come to you right now as brothers and sisters, as men and women. Lord, as we broadcast out right now from London to Brazil, from Brazil all the way to America, from Australia to Canada, all the way, dear God, to France and Eastan
Ball. Lord, we are praying that your love and your saving grace will be wrapped around each and every one of us. Father, from these anxious nights to the sun rises, from the sun rises to the sun setting. Father, as the rain falls, Father, as the seasons of life that we're in right now. Father, if we're in a winter season, bless us. If we're in a summer, bless us. Lord, if we're in the autumn, bless us. If we're in a spring season, bless us. Whatever season of life we are in, Holy Spirit, Jesus, interrupt every anxious pattern that's in our lives and draw us to the cross of Calvary. Father, we need calm from the battlefields of life to the rock face of life. Holy Spirit, from every sunrise to every sunset, will you carry us?
