Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper, wherever you are in the world. Thank you for making daily prayer part of your life and part of your day. Let's stay locked together across the globe. We're gonna stay connected. We're on the journey, and the journey is prayer. Don't ever, ever give up. God is with you. Welcome. Let's jump straight in without
further ado. We're in Joshua chapter 1, verse 9. This is the title, Jesus. Strengthen my spirit and make me courageous for everything ahead today. Holy God, Jehovah Jirah, strengthen my spirit and make me courageous for everything ahead of me today. Father, in the name of Jesus. Lord, as the sun is going to come through the studio window. Lord, as the sun is going to rise, Lord, as the rain falls, dear God, as the snow comes down on the Pyrenees. Father, as the rain, dear God, hits the window of life. Father, as we get ready to pull the curtain back. Holy Spirit, in the name of Jesus. Lord, we pray that you will strengthen us for this day. Holy God, will you give us courage for this day? Lord, we thank you that you are Jehovah Jireh, Jehovah Nisi, Jehovah
Shalom. But today, at this hour, Lord, at the early door prayer, Lord, we are looking for strength for today.
Lord, we need fear to go. Lord, we're not gonna lock on for the day. We're not gonna lock into the news channels. We're not gonna listen to the forecall price of diesel and petrol. Lord, we've got confidence in our God. And Lord, we're gonna start this day strong and bold. And in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Lord, we lean into the great book of Joshua 1, verse 9. Have I not commanded you, be strong and courageous, do not be afraid, do not be discouraged. For the Lord thy God goes with you wherever you go. Father, we thank you that you are omnipresent, you are omnipotent. Lord, you're in the air that we breathe, you're in the wind from the heavens above. Lord, you put the stars in the heavens. Lord, you set the sun shining in the name of Jesus. And right now, Lord, we're going to be strong, we're going to be bold, and we're going to be confident today. But right now, Lord, I pray for the listeners that we will walk in courage, we will walk in authority, we will walk in the strength of the word of God. So Lord, will you release your word over our lives? Father, you are telling us to be strong and to be courageous and do not be afraid or to be terrified of any situation. We walk powerfully today. Lord, as we pull the curtains back on the morning, Lord, as we see the sun starting to rise over the horizon, Lord, as the rain comes, Lord, as the four seasons of life that we're in. Father, if we're in the summer, hallelujah. If we're in the winter, hallelujah. If we're in the spring and the autumn, hallelujah. Whatever season we are going through, from the battlefield to the boardroom, from the boardroom to the school run, Father, we are praying for
strength right now. Lord, as we kick the duvet off, Lord, as we punch the alarm, Lord, we get ready to go. Lord, I pray that you will put fire in these bones. Lord, I pray that we will feel the divine power of God in the skin that we walk in. But right now we come to you. And Lord, as we get our clothes on, Father, we take our PJs off. Lord, we get our onesie off, Lord, we get ready for the day. Lord, we put our uniform on. Lord, we pull our jeans up. Lord, we put our skirt on. We pull our hair back. We do our makeup. Lord, we put our makeup on and we're ready for the day. Lord, wherever we are across this world, Lord, we need the fire of God. And Lord, we believe in miracles. So Father, as we stretch right out, Lord, from the boardroom all the way to London, from London to Sydney, from Sydney to Lisbon, from Lisbon to Brazil, from Brazil, Colombia, and Chile. Lord, we are expecting strength today. Father, from the battlefield to the boardroom, to the field of life. Lord, we believe that there is courage right now. God is calling you to be strong. God is calling you to be full of courage. God is saying, don't you ever give up. God is giving you the ability in the power of the word of God. Wherever you are, let the Spirit of the
Lord carry you. My name's Reverend Ben Cooper. Come on, let's not have any hesitation in our step today. Let's go forward in confidence and faith and power and let the spirit of the Lord carry you in courage. Come on, let's jump to the next prayer. Wherever you are, don't ever, ever give up. I'll see you soon. Come on.
