Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper. Wherever you are in the world, thank you for making daily prayer part of your life and part of your day. We're gonna lock shields today. Wherever you are at this hour, come on, whatever your time zone is, let's stay connected, let's anchor in the power of the word
of God. Tonight's prayer is coming out of the book of Isaiah 41, Isaiah 41, verse 10. Jesus, remove every fear and hold me securely in your presence
tonight. Father, we're tired. Lord, it's been along our bounce today. Father, the journey's been long. Lord, we've been in meetings. Father, we've been looking after the children. Father, we've been doing the gardening. We're tired. We are weary. We've been clearing the house out. We've been filling the skip up, Lord, the skip of life. Father, we are emptying stuff out. Lord, and as we are emptying our house out, Lord, I pray that you will empty each and every one of us out. And Lord, that you will fill us, dear God, with the glory. Father, we pray that you will empty us of us. And Lord, that you will fill us with yourself. Lord, we want to be filled to the full measure. Lord, we don't want fear to be in the skin that we walk in. Lord, we want to be holding firmly
into faith. And I pray right now, Lord, as we go around life, as we live life, as we go to work, as we go home, as we travel, as we do whatever we do as human beings and as Bible-believing believers, Father, we are seeking the Father's heart. Lord, we are seeking the way. Because you are the way, the truth, and the life. Lord, and we need an anchor. And Lord, will you make it a love anchor? Lord, we want to anchor ourselves in the beautiful scripture of John 16. For God, so loved the world. Father, we want to anchor ourselves in John 3, 16. Lord, we want to make you our anchor. Lord, we want to build on the foundation of the Word of God. And Lord, we are tired. Our eyes, dear God, are weary. Our eyelids are closing. Father, as we get ready for bed, Lord, I pray as we take our makeup off, Lord, as we get the uniform off, as we put our PJs on, Lord, as the kids are in the bed still making a noise. Father, Lord, I pray, Lord, as we're trying to settle down for this hour.
Lord, will you remove the fear, the fear of the barrel of oil, the fear of doubt, the health fear? Lord, I pray, Lord, that we will be healed, that we won't worry about our healings and our bodies and our minds. Lord, that we won't be fixated on social media. We won't be worried, dear God, about certain areas of our bodies. But Lord, that we will say, Jesus, I am healed. For any one of you right now that is worried about sickness and disease, the spirit of the Lord is with you. For any one of you that is worried about the financial strain over your life, God is with you. Whatever the worry, whatever the fear, the spirit of God is in your life.
And Father, I pray for everyone under the sound of my voice. Father, from London, all the way to France, all the way to Scotland, from Scotland, all the way to Mumbai, all the way to Australia, all the way to Venezuela, from Venezuela, all the way to Vancouver. Lord, we are praying that you will pour out your spirit right the way around China, right the way around the Americas, right the way around Asia, right the way through the Middle East, every corner, every tribe, every language, every city, every human being, every town, every village. Lord, we are praying for an outpouring of your spirit. But Jesus, remove every fear and hold me securely in your presence tonight. Father, we need the love of God. We are tired and we are weary. Father, from the laptop of work, dear God, to the ballroom of life. Father, as we cry our way through, we run our way through, we dance and skip our way through life. However, we get through life, will you carry us, Lord? I pray that we will not fear, we will not be scared, we will not be dismayed, but God will carry each and every one of us. Don't go too far.
