Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper, wherever you are in the world. Thank you for making daily prayer part of the rhythm of your life and part of your day. We're staying locked in, connected, and we're on a journey of prayer.
Come on, without further ado, we're in the book of Ephesians, chapter 2, verse 10. This is the title of this prayer. Jesus, establish my identity and align me with the work you prepared for me.
Holy Spirit, we come to you right now. And Lord, we believe in miracles. But Jesus, I thank you that we are not random, that I am prepared by you. Holy God, that you are. Father, we fall in love with you more and more each day. But Jesus, I realize that every day I belong to you. I choose to trust you because you created all of us. You created our purpose, our reason. Lord, you are in the work of our lives. And Father, you have established our identity. And right now, will you align my life with what you have prepared for each and every one of us? Lord, we believe that the love of God is over our lives and the Spirit of the Lord. I thank you that the Spirit of the Lord
is with us. Lord, when I'm feeling uncertain, bring clarity. When I feel lost, guide me. Help me to walk forward with quiet confidence, knowing that I am not random, but I've been prepared by you. Lord, help us to understand that you prepared us before the foundations of the world.
Lord, we thank you that Ephesians 2 verse 10 is over our lives. Holy God, for we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus, to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Holy God, we thank you that you have prepared our lives.
And Lord, will you bring us back to that place? Will you align us back with the Word of God? Father, we need realigning. Lord, we need recalibrating. But right now, Father, we want to make Jesus the Lord and center of our lives. From the four corners of this world, Lord, we believe in miracles. Will you pour out your spirit? Will you pour out your love? Lord, we thank you that Jesus has established our identity and aligned us with the work you prepared before the foundations of the world. Lord, we call on the greatest name in heaven and earth. Lord, I ask you, Lord, that you reveal more of a purpose about our lives. Lord, not only more of a purpose, but Lord, we need to be realigned with the scripture. Lord, we need to find that identity again. Lord, wherever we are from the four corners of this world, Jesus, Lord, we thank you that we identify with Christ. We thank you that there is a purpose in our lives. Lord, when we are feeling lost, give us a clear direction. Lord, whatever the hour may be over our lives, we thank you that we have been formed and we have been created by the Master's plan. And as we come to you, we stretch out. We stretch right out across
this place. Holy Spirit, Lord, from this studio, we pray, dear God, that you will strengthen us from the crown of our head to the sole of our feet. Father, from the battlefield to the boardroom, to the field of life, to the dance of life. Father, to the rock face of life. Wherever we are, we are praying that the love of God will carry us and strengthen us. Father, bless Houston right now. Lagos, London, Barcelona. Lord, every tribe, every tongue, every culture, every area of life, but Jesus, reveal our identity again. Give us that purpose and realign us with the word of God. Lord, we believe in miracles, Spirit of the Living God. Wherever the listeners are across this beautiful world, I pray that they will feel the love of God and the steadfastness of the love of God never ceases. But Father, we thank you that we are your handiwork. Father, wherever we are, will you cover us in the love of God? Wrap us up in your mercy and Father, let us realize that we are established in the identity of the Word of God from the crown of our head to the sole of our feet.
