Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Van Cooper, wherever you are in the world. Thank you for making daily prayer part of your life and part of your day. We're going to lock in across the world. We're going to stay connected and we're going to be on this journey. And the journey
is prayer. It is 12 a.m. and the title of this prayer is coming out of the old testament, and that is in the book of Psalms 121, verse 7. Jesus, guard my life completely and watch over me through every hour of this night. Holy Spirit, what can I say? Guard us in every area of our lives.
Lord, as we lock on to the news channels, we listen to the rhythm of the war beat. And Lord, we do not want to listen to the rhythm of the war cry. Lord, we do not want to get engaging, dear God, in what is happening in a political arena. Father, we want to come to you. And Lord, we need you to guard our lives completely. Because Lord, life feels very unsteady at this moment. We feel very unsteady in which we see and what we see on the TVs.
And Lord, even through the news channels of life. Father, the jigsaw puzzle of life, Father, it's very messy. Lord, we got pieces missing on our jigsaw of life. And Lord, we are trying to make things work. Lord, this piece don't fit down here. Lord, I can't work the jigsaw of life out. I need you in my heart, my mind, my body, and my soul. Lord, we need you like never before. You are the King of Jehovah. You are the Lord of Lords. You are the great I am. Father, we need your protection. You are our rest. You are our security. And right now, Jesus, guard my life completely and watch over every hour through this night. Lord, we don't want to watch and listen to about the price of the barrel of oil. Father, we don't want to listen to what's happening, dear God, through the shipping lanes of life. Lord, we need secure rest. And Lord, we don't feel secure in our lives. Lord, we are feeling very unsteady. And we come to you right now, God. Watch over each and every one of us. Bring us to a safe place. Will you remove the anxiety? Father, we stretch in, we lean in and we pray through the great prayer, dear God, of Psalms 121.
The Lord will keep you from all harm. He will watch over your life and he will watch your coming and your going and both now and forevermore. Lord, in our yes and amens. Lord, in our hallelujahs, Lord, in our cries, in the battle cry. Lord, we thank you that you watch over our lives. And we need you to watch over our lives. We need you to strengthen us. We need you to draw us closer to the cross. Lord, will you keep our heart, dear God, at the cross of Calvary? Right now, Lord, watch over us, carry us in the name of Jesus.
Father, from the battlefield of life. Oh God, as we stretch out from London, as we broadcast from London, all the way to Lisbon, all the way to Barcelona, Chile, all the way, dear God, to Argentina. Father, we pray for Peru right now. We are praying for every nation, every city, every town, every village. We're praying for everyone under the sound of my voice. Lord, we need you. Father, that is a given. We need you. You have got to guard our lives completely. Father, you got to protect us. You got to carry us. You gotta make a way for us. Lord, you've got to show us the way, the truth, and the life. And right now, Lord, from the battlefields of life, Father, from every scenario, from the sun rising to the sun setting, we need Jesus Christ in our lives. Dear God, from the rock face of life to the battle of life, to the inner storms to the outer storms, I pray that the love of God will be
with you. Don't go too far. Come on, join me for the next prayer. God bless.
