Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Van Cooper. Wherever you are in the world, thank you for making daily prayer part of your life and part of your day. We are locking in, we are staying connected. We're on a journey, and the journey is prayer. Don't you ever give up. I know you're tired, I know we're weary, we are exhausted. You know the sun is going to rise very soon in London. Wherever you are connecting to the sound of my voice, without further ado, we need direction, we need guidance, and we need clear steps.
Let's jump straight into Psalms 143 verse 8. That's 143, verse 8, and this is the title of this prayer, Jesus. Show me the way I should go and lead me clearly into this day ahead.
Father, as we come to you right now, show us the way that we should go and lead each and every one of us clearly into the day that lies ahead. Father, as we are getting ready to rise this morning, as we're ready getting to kick the duvet off, Lord, as we are getting ready to hit that alarm another time for the snooze. Spirit of the living God, I pray that you will lift every one of us from the crown of our head to the sole of our feet. Father, in the name of Jesus, we need direction. Lord, we need a focal point. Lord, we need direction. We pray for anyone else that has got brain fog. We pray for anyone that is scared of the day. Lord, we need clarity in our decisions. God, lead us today. Let there be healing in our hearts and our minds and our bodies and our souls. We pray for those that feel lost in the situations they're in. We pray for those that feel scared as they're getting ready for work. We pray for those, dear God, that need clear direction. Lord, the puzzle of life, Father, is all over the place. And Lord, we need you right now because Lord, the jigsaw is a mess. And Lord, we can't find the missing pieces. We need you. Father, in the name of Jesus, will you help us to live this life? God, show us the way that we should go and lead us clearly into the day
ahead. Father, we look at the social medias. Lord, we look at number 10 Downing Street. Lord, we look at the shipping lanes around the world. Lord, we listen to the war cry. Father, we have no stable leadership and we are looking for guidance. Father, the world is inside out, upside down and all around. And we need Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.
So Lord, as we stretch out across the world, Father, we want to pause and say thank you to every prayer that comes into this studio. We want to say thank you to every listener right now that is sowing a financial seed. Everyone that is listening to RB Christian Radio, everybody in the archives, Father, I want to say thank you to everybody that is staying with me wherever they are around the world. Father, we believe in the power of faith. We believe as we move forward, Lord, you are giving us clear direction from the battlefield to the boardroom. Lord, as the sun is going to rise very soon. Lord, as we pull the curtains back on a new dawn. Father, as we pull the curtains back on a new day.
Father, whatever the weather system is over our lives today, Father, if we're in the winter, hallelujah. Father, if we're in the spring, praise God. Lord, if we're going through the steps, dear God, of summer. Father, if we're right now in the middle of autumn, Father, we are praying for those four seasons of life. Lord, we are asking you that you remove fear and doubt. But Jesus, show us the way that we should go and lead us clearly into the day ahead. Father, because there is no clear direction around the world. From the battlefield to the boardroom, from the boardroom to the field of life, to the school run, to the shop run, to the shopping trolley, to the field of life wherever we are. Lord, as we climb the rock face of life, Lord, will you guide us on the rock face of life? Because Lord, it's a hard climb. Lord, it's a long way to climb. And Lord, as we stretch out from this uh studio in London, Father, we pray right now as we go to Dallas, as we go to Manila, right the way round to China, right the way, dear God, and the way to Chile and Barcelona. Lord, we are believing that the Spirit of the Lord is over each and every one of us. Lord, as we draw the curtains back on this morning, let the Spirit of the Lord carry you. But Jesus, show me the way I should go and lead me clearly into the day that lies ahead.
Lord, we got to trust in you in every area of our lives, wherever you are, don't ever, ever give up. God is with you. Come on, join me at the next prayer.
