Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper, wherever you are across the world. Thank you for making daily prayer part of your life and part of your day. We are locking in across the world. We are staying connected and we are going to pray. And we are never, ever, ever going to give up because there is power in prayer. And this is the title that we're
coming from today. We're coming out of 2 Timothy chapter 1 verse 9. Jesus, remind me that I am called with purpose and not defined by my past. Holy God, remind me that I am called with purpose and not defined by our
past. Father, I pray for three areas of life. Lord, help us to find purpose. Help us, Father, dear God, to know that there is restoration in you. Help us, dear God, to have that identity reset. Lord, where culture, where life, where work, family, certain circles of life, the rhythm of money, the rhythm of life itself, social media, news, the political drive, the way the world is. Father, I pray that we will find, dear God, ourselves
through the word of God. Lord, that we will not identify to what we see on the news through social media. We will not allow ourselves to be shaped by the world. But Lord, we will not be also shaped by our culture through the upbringing of life. That we will find out who we are as that individual in Christ Jesus.
So Lord, we are looking for restoration. Lord, there are so many of us who have lived the brutal life and lived the brutal life by living according to someone else's purpose over our lives. And Lord, I pray that we will not live our lives according to someone else's plan over us, but Lord, we will find the purpose of our own life. So Jesus, remind me that we are called with purpose. And Lord, help me not to be defined by my past. Holy Spirit, every one of us, dear God, has got a past. So Lord, I pray that we will leave that past in the past. And wherever we are across this world, Father, we thank you for the power of restoration. Lord, I ask you that you will restore us and you will redeem us. And Lord, I pray right now that we won't waste any more days, any more hours dwelling in
what was. So Lord, we come to the cross of Calvary right now and we stretch out and we say, Father, we thank you that there is a purpose over our lives. Will you and thank you that you have restored us by your grace? Lord, when we're feeling lost, when we're feeling, dear God, out of reach, Lord, when we need, dear God, help, we pray that you will rebuild us and strengthen us and restore us. But Lord, I'm asking right now that we will find that identity in you. And Lord, as we look through Scripture, as we look into the heart of God, Jesus, help every one of us to be released from our past and step into a true purpose that you have for us. Lord, when I feel regret, bring peace. When I feel lost, Father, bring restoration. Lord, remind us that we are called according to your purpose. Father, I thank you that it is your grace, your mercy, your love over each and every one
of us. But Lord, I pray right now as we stretch out across the world. Lord, as we broadcast today, Lord, as we read today, Lord, as we lock into prayer, I ask you, Father, from every battle, from every trial, that we will know that our Redeemer lives, and because He lives, we can face tomorrow. Jesus, my past does not define me. Holy Spirit, we lock into the Word of God. And wherever we are in the world, Father, I pray that we will find the redemption love of God. And Lord, we are in your plan, so dear God and heavenly Father. Strengthen the listeners wherever they are right now, from the crown of their head to the sole of their feet. Lord, we believe in miracles. You are the creator of heaven and earth, and Lord, bless us from London all the way to Lagos, from Lagos to Barcelona, from Barcelona to China, all the way to France. Lord, I pray for the battles of life. Lord, I ask you right now, Holy Spirit, bless us and carry us through the storms, through the valleys, through the trials, through the tribulations in Jesus' precious name. Amen. May God bless you and carry you.
