Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper, wherever you are in the world, thank you for making daily prayer part of your life and part of your day. Together as we pray across the world, we're going to stay connected and we're in the power and the glory of the beautiful book of Habakkuk, chapter 3, verse 19. Yes, Habakkuk chapter 3 verse 19. We are praying for endurance, we're praying for strength under pressure, and we're asking God that we will steadily finish this day. Wherever you are, come on, let's lock in. This is the
title. Jesus, strengthen my steps and help me rise above the pressure of this day. Lord, I feel that there is a volcanic eruption about to happen. Lord, I've had pressure at work, pressure at home, pressure in life. Father, emails and texts, Lord, it has been a drumbeat of a day. And Spirit of the Living God, I pray, Jesus, strengthen our steps and help us rise above the pressures of this day. Holy God, wherever we are. Will you strengthen us to keep going? Lord, we feel pressured under the day, the work, the life, the situations we're going through, from the battles to the boardrooms, from the boardrooms to the fields of life. Lord, I pray for every battle, for every trial. Lord, help us to have endurance over the skin we walk in. Father, give us endurance. Father, give us the strength to keep going. Lord, give us strength under pressure. Father, there is still a few hours over this day. You are the sovereign Lord. You are the God above all gods. You are the Father of Isaac, Jacob, and Abraham. Sovereign Lord, you are our strength. Father, I pray that you will steady our feet in the name of Jesus. But God, strengthen our steps tonight.
Father, there are still many hours of this day. Lord, the children are coming home. Lord, the family are getting together. Lord, I pray for those that are in the kitchen right now, cooking and getting ready for the family. I pray for those that have got to leave the office right now. Those, dear God, that have got to leave the ivory towers, those that are got to close the laptop of work. Spirit of the living God, I pray, Lord, as we get the children to swimming, the children, dear God, doing their homework. Father, the pressure of being a parent, the pressure of being a human being, the pressure of living, the pressure of looking and moving through life. Holy Spirit, I pray. Lord, as the children have got to do their homework, give us strength. Lord, as we got to get one set of them to football, the other set to swimming, the other set to dancing, the other set, dear God, to drama. Lord, I pray in the name of Jesus at this hour, Lord, we're on the school run. We are tired. We're stuck in traffic. Lord, we got to close the laptop on today. Father, there is so much work to do.
Lord, I want to leave work at work. Lord, I don't want to go home and take my work in my head. Help me, dear God, to declutter my head of today's work. Spirit of the living God, I pray that we will rise above the pressure of life, that you will carry us in and out, dear God, the valleys and the trials and every tribulation.
But Lord, as we stretch out from London, dear God, I thank you for Houston. I thank you for America. I thank you for Israel and Brazil. Lord, I pray for Chile right now. I pray, dear God, for Ghana. That the power of God will be right around the world. Lord, every color, every tribe, every area of our lives, whatever jam we're in right now, Father, as we come out of the office, Lord, we got to get on the tube and we're tired. Lord, we're standing at the bus stop and it's raining and we're exhausted. Father, we got to do the cooking. Father, the kids have got their clothes everywhere. Father, we got to make food. We got to look after the house and we are tired. Help us under the pressure of today. Spirit of the living God, I pray that you'll strengthen our steps and help us to rise above the pressure of this day. God, wherever we are, we pray for peace. We pray for love. We pray for your mercy from the four corners of this world. Will you strengthen everyone that is under the sound of my voice? Jesus, you are sovereign. You are the great I am. Strengthen us to keep going for the rest of this day. But Lord, I pray that you will bless everyone from the crown of their head to the sole of their feet in the glorious name of Jesus
Christ. Don't ever give up. Come on, let's grab a breath and let's pray to the next prayer together. Come on, join me.
