Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper, wherever you are across the world. Will you lock in with me? It is 10 p.m. live in London, and I pray that the God that we serve will rest your heart tonight. Lord, we need rest. Lord, we need safety. We need fear
to be removed. And we're praying out of the great book of Zephaniah, chapter 3, verse 17. And this is the title, Jesus. Quiet in every fear and let me rest knowing you delight over me tonight. Holy Spirit, quieten every fear and let me rest knowing you delight over me tonight. Holy Spirit, let us feel your love.
We feel the weight of social media. We feel the weight dig out of the political drive. We feel the weight of money. We feel the weight of the pressure of work and life and family and relationships. We feel the pressure of everything. But Lord, will you release the pressure? And Lord, we want our hearts to smile. Lord, we want to find a place to rest. Lord, we want restoration. We want your glory. We want your mercy. But dear God, we come to you right now. And I want to let them know, the listeners right now, that the Lord is with you. Wherever you are, this is what that great book says. The Lord your God is with you. The mighty warrior who saves. In his love, he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over your singing. Holy Spirit.
And right now, Lord, we don't feel like a mighty warrior. Lord, we've got battle fatigue. Lord, we are tired, we are weary, and we've been in a battle this week. We've been in a battle today. We've been in a battle our lives, and Father, we can't fight life anymore. And Lord, when I say that, I realize what I mean. It comes, Lord, to a place of complete surrender. So Lord, right now, help me to surrender my life completely, wholeheartedly, every fibre, every being of my soul. Help me to surrender my worries, my fears, my journey, my expectations, my hopes. Help me, dear God, just to lay everything at the cross and say, Jesus, I want your love just to carry us. Holy Spirit, Lord, every fear that starts to rumble in our innermost being, every doubt that starts to turn our mind over, every area of worry, of doubts, of fear. Lord, before we sleep tonight, Lord, we want to hear the word of God. Lord, I pray that the listeners will hear your voice. Lord, we got battle fatigue from the battlefield to the boardroom, to the field of life as we climb the rock face of life. Father, as we walk our way through life, as we waltz our way through, as we dance our way through, as we cry our way through, Lord, as we crawl our way through life, Lord, whatever way we walk through life, I pray, dear God, that you will bless, that you will heal, that you will set free.
But in this quiet time, from London all the way to America, all the way from America to Australia, from Australia to Scotland, from Scotland to Wales and France. Jesus, oh Lord, we're tired and we're weary. God, it's been a week and a half, and we need you, Jesus. Come on God, help us to cross over the line. Help us, dear God, right now to find peace. Lord, I thank you for every listener. And dear God, at this hour, bring peace and mercy and love.
God is with you wherever you are. Let's not live our lives by our emotions and the perception of how we perceive life. Help us to live by faith. Jesus, I want to, we want to live by faith. But God, quieten every fear and let us rest knowing you delight over us tonight. God is with you. Without further ado, I'm gonna pedal out. Will you join me for the next prayer?
