Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper. Wherever you are in the world, thank you for making daily prayer part of your life and part of your day. Let's pray across the globe. Wherever you are, we're gonna stay connected and we're gonna continue through the rhythm of prayer. We
are tired, we are weary. Has your hands, has your back, has your legs? Are you wobby on your legs? You know, it is only 6 p.m. in London, and we got quite a few hours for the rest of the day. We might be a little bit worried, we might have a bit of brain fatigue, we might have emotional fatigue, we might have evening fatigue. Let's pray that God will give us endurance and he will give us strength, and we will find that we are steady on our feet. The title
of this prayer is coming out of the book of Psalms 34, verse 4. Jesus, deliver me from every fear and strengthen me to finish this day well. Jehovah Jirah, Jehovah Nissi, Jehovah Shalom. Lord, we call on the greatest name in heaven and earth. And Lord, we want this fear of the day to go. Lord, we're getting ready to close the laptop on work. Father, we don't want to take work home with us. Father, we've got to get back yet. Lord, we've got to get through the rush hour. We got to jump on the tube. We're going to jump on the train. Lord, we got to get back home. And Lord, I pray for every one of us wherever we are. We pray for the homemakers that have been at home all day, working, hoovering, washing, ironing. Lord, give them strength in the glorious name of Jesus Christ. But Lord, wherever we are, Lord, under the sound of my voice, I pray as we lean into Psalm 34, verse 4. The Bible says, Seek the Lord, and he will answer me. He has delivered me from all my fears. Father, in the name of Jesus, you are sovereign. You are El Shaddai. You are the great I am. Father, we come to you as we stretch out across the world. Jesus, deliver me from every fear. Deliver me from every trial. Deliver me from every scenario under the sun. Lord, as the sun drops in London, Father, as the sun rises across the world, Father, wherever we are, we need the power
of the Word of God. Jesus, deliver us from every fear and strengthen us so we can finish well. Lord, we've got to pick the kids up. Lord, we've got to take them to swimming. Lord, we've got to do the homework. Father, I've got to cook the dinner. I've got to wash the clothes. I've got to iron them. And Lord, we've got to put it all away and look after the family. I pray for the homemaker that you will strengthen the homemaker. I pray for those that have been ironing all day. Those that have been washing all day, hovering, cleaning. Lord, just with the rhythm, dear God, of looking after the family. Lord, we pray for those that are got to do the commute home. Those, dear God, that are traveling, crisscrossing the world for their work. Holy God, wherever we are, we need your strength. We need your mercy. But Lord, deliver us. Deliver us over and over and over and over again. Lord, deliver us from every fear, from
every scenario. Lord, we've got to close this laptop. Lord, I got to get out of the office. I got to get on the tube. I've got to get on a train. I got to catch that bus. Lord, I've got to get away from our line manager. Lord, I've got to get out of this office. I've got to get off this building site. I've got to get out of this situation. Because, Lord, my brain is about to explode. Because, Lord, it's been a long day. It's been a heavy day. And right now, Jesus, deliver me from every situation today has brought to my path. Holy God, that you are. Holy Spirit, I pray that fear will go, doubt will go. And Lord, that we will lean into the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Father, I pray, from the battlefield to the boardroom. Lord, we still got hours to go. Lord, it is only early doors. Father, Lord, I pray as we live our lives, as we move through our lives, from every scenario, from every sunset to every rainfall. Lord, I pray for the blessings of Jesus Christ. Lord, from London to America, from America to Australia, from Australia
all the way to the promised land. Lord, we need the promised land. Lord, I'm tired. Lord, we've been praying for weeks and hours and days. Lord, I have got fatigue, but right now we're getting out of this. We nearly lost that one. In the name of Jesus, God is with you wherever you are. Yes, Lord, get us to the promised land. Lord, get us to the throne room of grace wherever we are. Father, we thank you for the love of God. God is with us. Jesus, deliver me from every fear and strengthen me to finish this day well. Wherever you are, don't you ever give up from the battlefield to the boardroom to the field of life. God is with you. The Bible says in Psalms 34, verse 4 I sought the Lord and he answered me. He delivered me from all of my fears. Come on, join me at the next prayer. Let's never give up. God bless.
