Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper, wherever you are in the world, whatever your time zone is, whatever is going on in your heart, Jesus Christ is with you. Thank you for making daily prayer part of your life, part of your day, part of your afternoon, and part of this night time. God
is with you. If you've got any concerns, please email us to the studio, which is info at dailyprayer.uk. We're jumping straight in.
It is the 11 p.m. a cry for Jesus. Lord, we're crying for you right now. I don't know how you feel, but what a day in the name of Jesus.
We're praying out of the book of Lamentations, chapter 3, and the title comes from verse 57. Jesus, come close to me tonight and let me rest without fear in your presence. Holy Spirit, we need to rest in your presence. We need to rest without fear. Lord, this fear keeps driving my mind crazy. Lord, the ifs, the buts, and the possibles. We need you to remove the ifs, the buts, and the possibilities. And Lord, we got to go into secure sleep tonight. We want to walk and sleep in deep rest. Lord, wherever we are, if we're still commuting, if we're still cooking,
if we're still washing and ironing, Lord, if we're still coming back from life, wherever we are, Lord, if we're resting right now, Lord, I pray for everyone under the sound of my voice. Lord, at this hour, Lord, I pray that we will sleep well at the name of Jesus. I pray for a peaceful rest over our hearts. Father, I thank you that God's presence is with us. But Lord, I ask you as we come near to you, you will come near to us. Lord, we believe that Lamentations chapter 3, verse 57 is for us. You come near when I call. And you said, do not fear. Holy God, we want to hear your voice. Lord, the world has been noisy today. Lord, we need deep rest. Lord, I'm still hearing the train of life. I'm still hearing, dear God, the traffic of the commute. I'm still hearing the screams and the noise of the world. Lord, I'm still hearing the line manager. I'm still hearing the emails and the text. I'm still reliving today. And Lord, I don't want to live today again. Lord, I want it gone at the name of Jesus. So Lord, we come to you and we say, Holy Spirit, as we rest in this hour, we need your love, your
mercy. Lord, as we broadcast and as we pray out right across London, right across Ireland and Scotland and Wales, Lord, right the way through to the island of man. Lord, right the way up to dear God, every island, dear God, that is off every mainland. Lord, I pray today, I pray tonight, I pray this morning, whenever they hear my voice, Lord, I ask you that you will draw us at this hour, Lord, from London, all the way around the world, that you, dear God, you, Jehovah Jirah, Jehovah Nissi, help us to surrender ourselves to you. And we will find deep rest and we will find security from the battles that we've gone through today. Dear God, to the field of life, to the rock face. Lord, as we've walked through life, as we've cried our way through today, Lord, we've had pressure, we've had fears, we've had doubts, and Lord, we need deep rest. So, Lord, at this hour, will you remove everything from us? Lord, that is troubling us, and Lord, we need deep rest, we need a secure sleep, and we want to find you like we've never found you before. Holy Spirit, I pray. Touch our hearts, our minds, and our bodies and our souls.
And remember, John 3 16 is over your life. For God so loved the world. God loves you. Don't ever give up. I'll catch you at the next prayer. God bless.
