We're gonna pray together, we're gonna lock in across the world, we're gonna stay connected, we're gonna carry each other, we are tired, we are weary. Come on, we got a lot
to do. Jesus, we come to you, Father. We thank you for the rhythm of prayer. And Lord, as we pray out of the gospel of John 14, 27, Jesus, give me your peace as I release this day fully into your hands. Jesus, give us peace as we release this day fully into your hands. Father,
how do I do this? Lord, I need to let go of this stress. Lord, I've got to close this laptop. I've got to get out of this office. Lord, I've got to get back into the rhythm of life. Father, I cannot allow the system to control me anymore. Father, I pray that the chains of the system will be broken. I pray, dear God, that I will let go of this laptop. Lord, that this laptop and this career will not run my life. But Lord, I will look to the Word of God. I will trust in Jesus. Father, I pray that I will not live my life according to the cultural drive. Lord, I pray that I will not live my life according to the laptop of business. I pray that I will not live my life according to number 10 Downing Street. I will not live my life worrying about the price of the diesel and the petrol. I will not live my life looking at the Bank of England, lifting up the interest rates. But Lord, I will look to Jesus and Jesus, give me peace as I hand everything over to you. Lord, this is tricky. Lord, we are tired. We are weary. Lord, we need stillness. Lord, I've got to trust in you completely. Lord, this day isn't done. Lord, this lay isn't this day isn't over, Lord. I'm not even finished. And Lord, we come to
you right now. And Lord, I thank you for the Gospel of John 14, 27. Peace I leave with you. Lord, I need to know more of that peace. I need to know more of that rhythm. I want to know more of the Father's heart because Lord, I've got to get these kids to swimming. Lord, we've done school for today. Now, Lord, I've cooked for them, I've looked after them. Lord, the house is in the mess. Lord, I've got to get them swimming. I've got to get them badminton. I've got to get them to scouts and cubs, Lord. I've got to get them in the field, dear God, of their youth. Holy Spirit, Lord, I'm not even home from work yet, Lord, and I've got to catch the train. Lord, I've even not even left the office, Father, and I'm tired. Lord, I'm still in retail. Father, I'm still selling. I'm still working. Father, I'm tired and I'm weary. Lord, and I don't know how to trust in you
fully. Will you teach me? Because Lord, the church doesn't really teach me. The rhythm of religion doesn't really help me. Lord, I need the Bible. Lord, I need the word of God because Lord, I've hit a flat point. Lord, I've hit a point, Father God, where there is nothing in the world that we desire. Lord, we need Jesus Christ. So Father, I pray that you'll give us the stillness. Father, we're just about to take the children to their youth club. Lord, we're just about to take the children to the swimming. We're just about to go back into the shops and do more shopping. Lord, we've got to get the ironing ball out and we're tired. Father, we've got to get back in the rhythm of life and we don't know what
to do. Father, as we pray right out of London, all the way to Canada, all the way to Chile, all the way to Brazil, all the way to Helsinki, all the way to Amsterdam. Father, in the name of Jesus, every nation, every tribe, every human being under the sound of my voice. Father, I pray that you will give us release from this anxiety. Lord, that fear will go from the battles of life. Father, for every one of us that is going on a private battle, for everyone that is outside living a corporate battle. Everyone, dear God, that is living and trying to weave their way through life. Father, bring peace from the battlefield to the boardroom, to the field of life. Jesus Christ is with each and every one of us. Come on, Jesus.
Holy Spirit, Lord, we have still got a few hours of this day. But Jesus, give us rest tonight and help us release the troubles, the worries, the fears, and the doubts in the greatest name in heaven and earth. Will you join me at the next prayer? Come on.
