Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper, wherever you are in the world. Thank you for making daily prayer part of your life and part of the rhythm of your day. Come on, we're gonna lock across the globe, we're gonna stay connected and we are gonna pray like we've never prayed before. God is with you. Come on, we're in the midday. We're gonna pray for this midday. We might have a bit of fatigue, we might be tired, but we're gonna pray right now for identity, redemption, and freedom
in Christ. Come on, the title is coming from 1 Corinthians 5, verse 7. Jesus, you are my Passover lamb. Make me new and free me from my past. Holy Spirit, Jehovah Jirah, we thank you for this midday hour. We thank you right now. Whenever we capture the sound of my voice, Jesus, you are. We thank you that the Lamb of God was sacrificed. We thank you that Jesus Christ went to the cross of Calvary. Lord, I thank you that we are new. Father, that we are born again, that we are free from our history. Lord, I thank you that this prayer has given us new hope. Lord, redemption in Jesus Christ. I thank you for the Passover Lamb. And right now we come to the cross of Calvary. And Lord, we lean into 1 Corinthians 5, 7. For Christ, our Passover Lamb, has been sacrificed. Brother and sister, through this gentle rhythm of this prayer, I pray that you will find the love of God and you will realize that the Lamb has been slain, that there
is victory in the name of Jesus, that the God above all gods, the King above all kings, is standing with you. Lord, I pray that we will find our identity in Jesus. I pray that we will know that we have redemption in Jesus. Lord, I thank you that we got freedom in Jesus. Lord, I thank you that there is power in Jesus, that we don't need the church, we don't need religion. Lord, I thank you that we don't need me, that we don't need the rhythm, Lord, of culture, of social media. We don't need the rhythm of the news. Lord, we need Jesus. Lord, you are our King. You are that Jehovah Jirah, Jehovah Nisi. Lord, as we stretch out right now from London, as we pray together, lock together, we stretch out from London to Israel, from Israel to Tel Aviv. Lord, we stretch out, Lord, because you are our Passover lamb. We stretch out
from Tel Aviv all the way, dear God, to London, back, dear God, to the United States of America, right into Austria, right into Switzerland, right through, dear God, Europe. Lord, we thank you that you are our Passover Lamb. And Lord, we thank you that all things are possible to those who believe. And Lord, we are believing for freedom. We are believing that we are redeemed and we have found our identity in Jesus Christ. Come, Holy Spirit. Lord, we thank you that we are a new creation. Lord, the old is gone and the new has come. Lord, we are born and we are refreshed by the power of God. And Lord, no longer do we belong to the world. No longer do we bounce to the rhythm of society. Lord, we belong to the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. And Father, we pray that wherever we are across this world, Lord, we thank you. Jesus, oh God, we come to you. Thank you that you are my Passover Lamb. Help me to realize my past has gone and I walk freely in the freedom of Jesus. That you have given me. Make me new in my thinking, my heart, my life. And Lord, I pray as we come to you right now, Lord, that we are not fragile, we are secure,
that we are established and complete. So Lord, I thank you that you are the power and the glory. And Lord, as we walk in freedom right now, wherever we are, Jesus, you are that Passover lamb. You are the King of Kings. You are the Lord of Lords. But God, I pray that we will focus on the King of Kings. Lord, I thank you that our past is gone. Lord, remove that past. Lord, if we're carrying that, Lord, I thank you that is gone. And right now, Lord, renew everything in our lives. Jesus, we thank you that you are the Passover Lamb and you've made us new through the blessings and the power of the sanctifying work of Jesus Christ. Wherever we are, cover us, Lord, in your love and your mercy. For Christ, our Passover Lamb, has been sacrificed. God bless.
