Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper, wherever you are across this world, thank you for making daily prayer part of your life and part of the bounce. Holy Spirit, I thank you, Lord, that we are living according to the rhythm of God. Lord, as we pray for this evening prayer, Lord, whatever the bounce has been today, whatever the rhythm of life has been today, Lord, I pray for this evening prayer. Lord, that we will find a place to release the cares of
the world. The title of this prayer is coming out of 1 Peter chapter 5, verse 7. Jesus, I release every care to you as this day begins to slowly close. Holy Spirit, as this day suddenly starts to close, Lord, we still got to do things for this day. Lord, but this evening prayer, Lord, wherever we are, Lord, we've had a fierce day today, Lord, we're tired and we are weary. Lord, I cast, we cast all our anxiety onto you because he cares for you. Father, I thank you for 1 Peter chapter 5, verse 7. Cast all your anxieties onto him because he cares for you. Father, I thank you that we are learning to release every burden as this day begins to slow. Father, it starts to slow, but Lord, the rhythm of my heart is still going.
Lord, the thought pattern, the 50-50 thinking, Lord, the over-engineering of life. Father, this evening prayer, Father, I ask you that we will find a way of releasing this stress from our heart. Father, that we will come to the Word of God, that we will open the Word. Lord, through this evening prayer, Lord, help us to let go of worry. Lord, the worry, Lord God, that is just around us right now. Father, it worry feels like a fishing net. Lord, it feels like we're getting our feet entangled. Lord, the walk, dear God. Lord, we're getting our feet, Lord, in the net of worry. Lord, the net of panic, the net of doubt, the net of uncertainty. Lord, it is restricting our walk. Lord, we don't want restriction on our walk. Lord, we want to let go, Lord. Father, will you take the net away from our feet? Lord, we're getting entangled. Father, I pray right now that we won't get entangled in the net of fear and the net of doubt. But Lord, that we will walk in freedom, that the power of God will just drive us. The word of God, Father, I pray that we will find through the prayer time, through this evening time, that we will find that that anxiety has been taken, that the fear, dear God, has been now to the cross of Calvary. Lord, show us through 1 Peter chapter 5, verse 7. Cast all your anxieties onto him because he cares for you. Father, I thank you that you care. Lord, that you love us unconditionally. And Lord, we want the rhythm of
God. And right now, Jesus, I pray for the listeners. Father, right across the world, from London all the way, dear God, to America, from America to Nigeria, from Nigeria to France, from France all the way to Scotland, from Scotland to Dublin. Lord, pour out your spirit across this world, every city, every trial, every tribulation, every village, every heart, every mind. Lord, I pray as the rain falls, Father, that we will feel the love through the rain, dear God, that we will feel the latter-day rain. Lord, that you will rain down on our lives right now. Lord, from the commute, dear God, to every situation that we are going through. Father, we need the King of glory.
So, Father, from the commute to the battles of life, from the battles of life to the washing machine, Father, we got to do the ironing. We've got to get the kids ready. Lord, we've got to tidy that house up. Lord, we've got to get back from work. Lord, this evening prayer, we are tired, we are weary, we've got fatigue. But Jesus, I thank you that we are not carrying this worry into this night. So, Lord, help us to close the laptop on today. Help us to close the laptop on work. Help us to turn the key on our work situations. Lord, I pray that we will leave work at work. And Father, through this evening prayer, we will find a place to rest. And that will be in the arms of Jesus. Father, from the battles to the trials, from the trials, dear God, to the washing machine, to the spin dryer, to the hoover, dear God, to the iron. Father, to the car, to the scaffold, to every scenario in every sunset across the world. Spirit of the living God, will you carry us, Lord, through this evening prayer? But Lord, I ask you that every listener will feel the love of God and the power of the Holy Spirit, Lord, through this evening time, Lord, our eyes are tired,
our eyelids are closing. But give us strength to finish this day well. In Jesus' name. Amen.
