Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Van Cooper. Wherever you are in the world, thank you for making daily prayer part of your life and part of your day. We're locking across the globe. We are staying connected and we are in the rhythm of prayer. Whatever is happening in your life, just pause a moment. I know you're busy, I know it's early. This is the morning prayer. Whatever your time zone is, come on, let's
just pray. But try and pause. If you're laying in bed this morning, just focus on Jesus. Try and focus on the cross. If you're just getting up, whatever the time is in your life, as we pray for this morning prayer, we're praying for wisdom and clear direction as we step into a
new day. This is the title coming from James chapter 1, verse 5. Jesus, give us wisdom and lead us clearly as I step into a new day. Holy God, Jehovah Jirah, Lord, we thank you. Lord, that you are giving us wisdom as we pray for wisdom right now. Lord, we need wisdom for these serious decisions in our lives. Lord, I pray right now, as we look at the platform of life, Lord, as we look, dear God, as the broad spectrum of life that is in front of us. Lord, I pray as we walk through the valley of uncertainty. Lord, as we climb, dear God, the walls, dear God of Jericho. Lord, as we walk through the valley of Bacchar, Lord, we are looking for guidance. Lord, from the battlefield to the boardroom, to the school run. Father, we pray as we get ready to kick the duvet off. As this day begins, give us wisdom and clear direction for our lives. Lord, we need to know the steps of a good person are ordered by the Lord. But right now, Lord, as we pray through James chapter 1, verse 5, if any one of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously without finding fault, and it will be given. Father, I pray, I need wisdom. Lord, I stand with my brothers and sisters on the other side of the world. Lord, I ask you right now, Lord, that you will give us graciously wisdom and understanding. Lord, I pray right now as we're looking for guidance from God. Lord, as we kick the duvet off, Lord, we're looking for clarity today. Lord, as we hit the alarm, dear God, next to the bed. Lord, we're looking for direction for our lives. Lord, we got many decisions to make and we are looking to you right now. So Lord, I pray that we will make our decisions
through godly wisdom and through the power of prayer. Lord, I pray that we won't go to AI and ask the question. I pray that we won't go to social media. We won't go to the way of the world. Lord, that we will look into the voice and to the heart of God, through the voice of God, through the word of God, through the power of God. Lord, I pray that you will give us godly wisdom. Lord, that you will order our steps. Lord, we need you in our lives. Father, we thank you that the power of God is over each and every one of us. But right now, Lord, without hesitation, Lord, do not hold back. Lord, just flood us with your love, your grace, your mercy, wisdom. Lord, we need direction today. Father, give us wisdom and give us a clear direction. Order our steps. Father, we thank you that this is a good day. This is a powerful day. This is the day of breakthrough. Lord, this is a morning. This is a moment. This is an evening. This is an hour. This is a millisecond, Lord, where we feel that the anointing of God is on our lives. Holy Spirit, as we pray this morning prayer, we stretch out to the kingdom of God. And Lord, wherever we are, from the battlefield to the boardroom, to the field of life, Lord, as we kick the duvet off, as we get ready for this day, order our steps.
Father, from London all the way to Dallas, from Dallas to Mexico, from Mexico to France, from France all the way to Brazil, from Brazil all the way to Indonesia, all the way to Nigeria. We're praying for an outpouring of your spirit. Lord, we believe in the love and the power of the Holy Spirit. But Lord, wherever we are right now, give us wisdom and lead us clearly into this day. Lord, as our lives unfold, as this day unfolds, Lord, as we pull the curtains back on today, as the sun comes through the studio window, as the rain falls, Father, I pray from the battlefield to the boardroom, to the field of life, that you will strengthen us, carry us, anoint us, and let your love and your mercy be over each and every one of us wherever we are across
this world. We need the love of God. We need your love. We need your mercy. Father, bless the listeners from the crown of their head to the sole of their feet. Give us wisdom, clarity, clear direction as we step into a new day. May God bless you in the greatest name in heaven and earth. God bless.
