SPEAKER_00

Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper, wherever you are in the world. Thank you for making daily prayer part of your life and part of the rhythm of your day. Come on, we're gonna lock in. Whatever the time zone is, we are in this night prayer. We're gonna pray for calm. We're gonna pray for the love of God. And let's just remind ourselves very quickly, John 3:16, for God so loved the world. God loves you, He loves me with every area, with every idiosyncrasy in our lives. God loves

us. But the title of this prayer is coming out of the great book of 1 Peter, chapter 5, verse 7. Jesus, I give you my anxiety and rest in your peace tonight. Father, Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ of Nazareth. You are the King of the Jews, you are the great I am. And right now, Lord, we cannot sleep. We want a calm mind and we want a peaceful rest. Lord, for this night prayer, for these early doors. Father, Lord, before the sun rises, before the sun sets on our lives, Father, I pray as we learn to cast all of our anxiety onto you because you care for us. Father, we thank you for that scripture in 1 Peter chapter 5, verse

7. Cast all your anxieties onto Him because He cares for you. Father, we cast. Lord, we lay it down. Father, this is quite difficult to do. Lord, we are overthinking. Lord, we got anxiety at this hour. Lord, we cannot sleep. We are looking for peace. We need you to calm our mind. Jesus, I give you my anxiety and rest in your peace tonight. Father, it's easy for my lips to say this, Jesus, but Lord, will you help me to practically hand it over? Let me hand over the rucksacks of worry, the suitcases of doubt. Lord, all my anxiety, Lord, I want to bring to the cross. I want to leave it in the presence of Jesus. Lord, I love you and Lord, and I thank you that you've saved us, that you've given us a hope and a future. But Lord, we are really tired. And Lord, as we pray out of 1 Peter chapter 5, verse 7, Lord, help us to cast all of our anxieties onto you. Father Lord, it's easy, Lord. We're in the setting of the church, we're in the setting of life, work and the rhythm. But Lord, at these early doors for this night prayer, Lord, how do I do this? Lord, I've I'm I'm talking it, I'm saying it, I'm praying it, but Lord, it's still there. Lord, please take the anxiety. Help us, Lord, wherever we are across this world. Jesus, in these quiet moments, Lord, when our thoughts begin to surface and they begin to rise, Lord, and they fill us, dear God, with uncertainty and doubt and worry. Lord, I pray for anyone that is scared at this moment that you will remove those feelings of being scared. Lord, we lift every weight.

Money Worries Keeping Us Awake

SPEAKER_00

Lord, every area that we are wrestling with life at this moment. Lord, we're wrestling with the fuel pump. Lord, we're wrestling with the diesel price. We're wrestling with the petrol price. We're wrestling, dear God, with the commodities around the world. Lord, we're wrestling with ourselves. Lord, we are tired of wrestling with life. Father, Lord, the money's not going far enough. Lord, the wages are not stretching. Lord, we're scared and we are worried. And Lord, this anxiety, this money fear, Lord, is keeping us awake. And Lord, we need you. We need you to show up practically in our lives. Father, I ask you, help us to give us, dear God, this time. Help us to hand over. Lord, as we stretch out from London to Los Angeles to Saint Paolo to Australia, dear God, all the way back to Scotland, the Ireland and Wales, France and Amsterdam.

Global Prayer And Final Blessing

SPEAKER_00

Lord, we're praying for the love of God right the way around the world. But Lord Jesus, I pray. Lord, at this hour, as we pray, Lord, remove the anxiety at night. Help us to stop overthinking. Lord, I pray that we will be able to sleep right now. Calm our mind. Give us peaceful rest. But Lord, we lean into the great book of 1 Peter, chapter 5, 7. Cast all your anxieties onto Him because He cares for you. God bless you. I will catch you at the next prayer. Don't ever, ever give up. God is with us.
