Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper, wherever you are in the world, thank you for making daily prayer part of your life and part of the rhythm of your day. We're across the globe together. We're gonna stay connected, we're gonna be locked in in prayer. Come on, let's jump straight in. We're in the book of Proverbs, chapter three. The title is Jesus, lead me. Holy Spirit lead me. Jesus, lead me clearly and order my steps as I trust in you.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, we come to you. Lord, as we pull the curtains back on this morning, Lord, as the sun comes through the window, as the rain falls wherever we are through this morning devotional prayer time together, Jesus, we pray that you will lead us very clearly and order the steps of ours. Lord, wherever we walk across the earth, whatever the rhythm of our day is, Lord, wherever we are right now, whatever the time zone is, whatever the culture, whatever the color, Lord, we are praying for guidance. We're praying for decisions as we make our way forward through faith. Lord, I thank you that we are not living by sight, but we are living by faith. And Lord, I pray right now that you will give us clarity, clearness from God. Lord, will you remove the fog, the fog that's in our eyes at this moment? Lord, the sleep that's in our eyes, Lord, the vision, Lord, is very distorted at these early doors. And right now, through this morning prayer, we pray that you will remove the fog, dear God, and you will remove the uncertainty, and Lord, that you will wipe our eyes clear and we will see clearly by the power of the word of God. Lord, that you will speak through the prayer time. You will speak, dear God, through nature. You will speak through the air. You will speak, dear God, through the rhythm of the day. Lord, that our hearts will capture the voice of God. But right now we're praying for guidance. We're looking, dear God, for help making decisions. We're looking for clarity in God. Lord, give us direction today, Lord, and we've got to trust in you. Jesus, lead us clearly and order our steps as we trust in you. Father, we thank you that you are giving us clear direction. And Lord, as we pray out of London, all the way to Saint Paolo, all the way to Dallas, Lisbon, Morta, all the way back, dear God, to Lanzarote, Spain, Lord, we are praying for the love of God over Chile, Barcelona. Lord, we're praying for every nation, every tribe, every human being under the sound of my voice.
But Lord, we lean into Proverbs 3, verse 5. Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not on your own understanding. Submit your ways to him, and he will make your path straight. Father, we thank you that you are making our paths straight, even though we go down some very strange corridors. Lord, even though that we're in cul-de-sacks of life, even though we walk through Psalm 23, even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me, your rod and your staff. They comfort me. Right now, Lord, we pray, Jesus, order our steps from the battlefield to the boardroom, to the field of life. Father, as we kick the duvet off right now, Lord, we pull them curtains back on this morning. Lord, as the dawn is rising, Lord, as creation is starting to move in our lives, Father, from the battlefield to the boardroom. Dear God, I pray right
now to the field of life, Lord, to the school run, to the coffee run, Lord, to the washing machine, the tumble dryer, to every sunset, to every sunrise. Lord, we pray that the Spirit of the Lord will be over our lives. Jesus, give us clear direction and steady our path right now. Lord, we come to you. Lord, I thank you that the steps of a good person are ordered by the Lord. From every scenario to every sunset, from every rainfall, Lord, I pray whatever season we are in, Lord, whether it's winter, spring, summer, or autumn, Lord, let your glory, let your power lead us in paths of righteousness. But Jesus, lead me clearly and order my steps as I trust
in you. Sister and brother, wherever you are under the sound of my voice, do not and in any shape, form or rhythm ever give up. God is with us. Come on, join me at the next prayer.
