Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper, wherever you are in the world, thank you for locking in for this daily devotional time together. We're going to pray together, whether you're listening to the sound of my voice or whether you are reading this prayer. The love of God
is over your life. We're in Zephyriah chapter 3, verse 17, and the title is Jesus. You quiet me with your love and rejoice over me. Father, we thank you that you quieten us with your love and your mercy. Father, we thank you for the love of God. Lord, I pray that you will hold us gently. And Lord, that you will lead us quietly into peace today. Father, wherever we are gathering, Lord, we are looking for calmness right now. Lord, we thank you for God's gentle presence over the rhythm of our lives. Spirit of the living God, we are praying for peace at this hour, at this moment. Father, we are looking for your love. We are looking for emotional reset right now. And Jesus, I need to rest in
your love. Father, whatever is going on in our lives, Father, we believe that Matthew 11, 28 is such a beautiful scripture. So Lord, I'm asking you right now, come to me, all of you that are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Lord, we thank you for this scripture that we come to you and you give us rest. But Lord, you call us something very interesting in the book of Zephaniah 3, verse 17. The Lord God is with you, the Bible says, the mighty warrior who saves. Father, I thank you that you no longer rebuke us, you rejoice over our lives, and you call us to the cross of Calvary. And Lord, we thank you right now, Jesus. You quieten me with your love and you lead me into your rest.
Father, I come to you right now with my brothers and sisters through this daily devotional reflection time. And in these moments, in the middle of this hour, Lord, our thoughts, our responsibilities, our emotions, Lord, whatever we are carrying, Lord, I pray that we pause right now and we will push through the noise that is around us. But Jesus, I come to you just as I am. I bring what I am carrying and I place into your hands my heart with your love. And Lord, help me to slow down and to rest in you. Let your peace settle with me and guide me gently through this day. Lord, I thank you that you guide us and you lead us. Lord, that you never leave us nor forsake us, but wherever we are, Lord, we want to fill the day with the gentleness of the Holy
Spirit. Lord, I thank you that the battle belongs to you. But right now, in the name of Jesus, we stretch out across the world and we believe in miracles. Whatever we are battling, whatever we are facing, Lord, we come to the cross of Calvary. Lord, we thank you that the love of God is over our lives. Holy Spirit, I'm asking you right now, through the great book of Matthew 11, 28, we come to you and we thank you that we will find rest right at this hour, right at this millisecond. Lord, we're tired, we got fatigue, and Lord, we want to feel the greatness of God. We want to feel the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives. And Lord, I pray for everyone that is reading this prayer, everyone that is listening through this prayer. I pray, dear God, as we lock together, Lord Jesus, quieten the noise around us. And Holy Spirit, we pray. And we thank you, dear God, as we carry on through this hour, Lord. I'm asking you that you will hold us in your hands, that you will strengthen us right now. We receive your kindness and Father, we thank you that your love and your mercy is over all of
our lives. Whatever we are facing, wherever you are right now, the love of God is over your life. And just remind yourselves that Matthew 11, 28 is for each and every one of us through this daily devotional, reflective time together. Come to me, all of you that are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. God bless you.
