And Don, welcome, brothers. Thank you for coming Wednesday morning and long we've been gathering for prayer in this church in this place. And now we switch things around a little bit. But we thank you for joining us this morning. We are on social media. We are trying to stream this we're doing our podcast as we always do. And we're just going to be praying, so we're just going to come before the Lord. You know, we've got coffee, we've got coffee, we've got a Bible most important thing, we've got the Bible. And we have Holy Communion this one and we're just going to rest in his presence. And we're going to try and catch any messages that might come through to us. And we're just going to pray. We're just gonna see where God is guiding us. And we thank you for everyone joining us this morning, wherever you may be listening in the world of podcasts or watching us on social media. Reverend Ben Cooper:Right. Okay, that triggers one word of fear, isn't it? We got it in praying, for fear to go, we gotta pray for a guy we got to pray into the nation. You know, for everyone that's Joining us this morning, we gather on a Wednesday morning. Normally we're in the church, but we just come in and a little back studio. And the last few weeks, we've been doing a podcast as well. So the the idea behind this is that we are doing communion. We are breaking bread we're carrying on as we've done in the main shirt, but we're just bringing it into this little podcasting studio that we got here. So we're doing two fold today. And we will continue to do this. So we're praying for everyone that's watching on social media this morning, God bless you. May God strengthened every one of you, we're going to be taking the emblems later on. As we get through this. We're going to be primed for about 40 minutes or so. And we just pray for the world, the nation for one another. And it's really important that we pray against fear. Yeah, you know, fear, absolute near suicide, worries, doubts, everything like that. We got to pray into that there are a lot of people that are struggling with mental health. There are a lot of people struggling with finances, you know, just because asked for a certain era, you know, and he's got these lovely Christmas jam run this morning. We all go, we all go through fear and worry. That way.
Donny Stockburn:Yeah. All the time. Don't be lost. Don't you know, that was every day
Reverend Ben Cooper:as a battle every day is in there. And sometimes the battles can be so. So hard, you know, on our families, our friends, our brothers, our sisters, husbands, wives, mums, dads, whoever we are, there is a battle that every one of us is facing. And sometimes the battle can be so strong, it gets exhausting. It gets exhausting. I don't know about you guys, but sometimes life can be so heavy, and so pressurized you with what's going on? Yeah. Not to say we lose sight of God. But sometimes we say no, we're long in
Donny Stockburn:the wilderness going away. So so
Reverend Ben Cooper:a warden next experience, a wilderness experience. But you know, what I've learned over a number of years is that when we're going through a wilderness experience, when we're when we're really pressed as the scripture says, when we're really pressed, that's when we're really saved God's favor. And I'm not referring to the evangelical Pentecostal movement, where they, they're having a conversation with God all day long. They sit in the front room, front room, and what I'm referring to is that you know, deep in your spirit, that God never leaves you Yes. So it doesn't matter if you're gone for the value of the shadow of death. Unite, doesn't matter where you are Psalm 23, doesn't matter how much you're struggling, you know, and it's really interesting. The times in which we're living, we're seeing the vaccine being rolled out. We're seeing a cashless society being squashed down. We're seeing a one world order coming together, we're seeing the persecuted Christians around the world being persecuted more and more. And there is a press a cut across the UK. So and when you look at where we sit biblically when you bring them when you bring it up on the timeline with Scripture, and you see where we sit, you can start to understand why I feel the way I feel because of the spiritual heaviness that he's around. But not just the spiritual heaviness, but sometimes just the weight of living. Yeah. So there's a lot to fight for.
Andy Hammond:Yeah. But you're talking about that I just saw of Elijah and the prophets of bow. Yes. And the way he dealt with that, but afterwards, he just ran off. Some wanted to die, and there and he just wanted to die sounder a tree and wonder, you know, God, what you're up to, what you're doing God and how we feel sometimes. Yeah,
Reverend Ben Cooper:but isn't that interesting that the angel came and fed him fed him a couple of meals, strengthen him for his next 40 days, 40 nights. But when he got to that place of worry CUT TO after 40 days, 40 nights and God said to him, what are you doing here, you're in the wrong place. So even though God sustains us and strengthens us, and he sends angelic activity to help us in the guidance and put people in our path, doesn't always mean to say that we are still going to follow the right direction, because that profit ended up in an in a cleft of a rotten ending, but what you're doing here, I want you over there. So it just shows us that many things that we've got to keep focused, you know, the world is banging a drum of God doesn't exist. Darwinism, centralization, all the layers of what's happening around the world but but as a believer, we got to hold tight we're seeing the church is stripped back. And I prayers we always you know what we prize look kidding on the potter's wheel loader, keep me on the will keep me on the wheel or keep me in the hands of the master.
Donny Stockburn:There is times but in all those instances, we're talking about where the larger blue output or blue out Yeah, they all they're all good ministry for us in these days, it looks fantastic. They think, well, it happened to a Niger Eagle buyer. God kept him Yeah, you do the same for me, and that I love Peter, because he made so many mistakes. And I'm always doing the same. And I think surely God's done enough for me. But he got Peter and made him Norwalk church on almost reverse, normal thinking in it.
Reverend Ben Cooper:It's the polar opposite of what our flesh and what God has for us. And you know, what we mentioned, there's so much light in the battlefield of the mind, the mind, the enemy, that the attacks in the thinking. And then we overthink or we overanalyze, and we over anticipate, and then we get side get health problem, we go and look on Google, we look on all in places. And suddenly, before we know it, we did before we read the end of that, and we get ourselves in a position of we get ourselves worrying about finances, children, life, husbands, wives, all that sort of stuff, and fail when fear grabs hold of you. You know, if there is any believer listening, and you are fearful at the moment, if anyone is watching at this moment, and you're really fearful, we just got to pray for peace. Yeah, we've got our arms around one another and just say, God is with each and every one of
Donny Stockburn:them speak that word.
Reverend Ben Cooper:And we've got to be honest, we've got to be honest and open, because the church, the structure, and everything is fouled so much up to this point. And there is a new breath, there is a new dawn, you know, God is breathing in the lungs of the church. Now, this is a great time to have, have almost a second go say God, this is church now what we are doing now? Yeah,
Andy Hammond:where we are. Strict breath is the key word. Because, again, that reminds me Holy Spirit. Yeah, the breath of God is to breathe in us. And that's what he's done. down through the ages. It's his Holy Spirit that is inspired. I was speaking on Sunday about john the baptist and the prediction of his birth, and it was the Holy Spirit at work there. Yes, um, yeah, he's, you know, his mom and dad were getting on in age, and had always prayed for a son. And, you know, the angel appears to him. Now, I've heard your prayer. Pardon? What prayer was that process? How long ago was that? Did he stop praying, you know, but actually, God remembers all our prayers. So what I say here is he will always remember and even though we forget them,
Reverend Ben Cooper:yeah, that's right.
Andy Hammond:Yeah, he recalls what and it was God Holy Spirit is key cuz Holy Spirit has been working down through all the generations. And he works. When Mary conceived. Yes, the Holy Spirit. When Elizabeth remember the, the baby jumped in overlapped

Andy Hammond:Yeah, by the Holy Spirit. So it's all key. And my prayer this morning is that we'll all be refreshed cola when they refer and filled with God's Spirit. Yeah, especially. Come on Christmas. How many days are we away?

Reverend Ben Cooper:nine days. Nice. Isn't it interesting. Now this virus has closed spider Easter. Spider Easter. Hit the church at Easter spring. ritually and it's still hitting the church, his birth, you know, but you know there's a third lockdown coming then that will be again you know there's more lockdowns, there's more stuff we are. We are living in in times when we need to pray for one another everyone listening and watching for the podcast and for what's what goes through social media this morning. We got pray for peace. We got to pray for guidance. We got to pray for the hand of God, we got to pray that God will brief brief Dan along to the UK. So let's be valuable prayer. They're not just nice, comfortable words to comfort their words with power, their words that will move the enemy out of this camp. That's what they were meant to do. Donny Stockburn:In it when you get fear. It's, Satan presents itself as God's equal to you. And your your reasoning goes, and you think well, is Satan as strong as God is, you know, is a battle going online, but it's no contest with God. It's no contest at all. And I just really did this with Psalm 139, gorgeous song, to show you to put God back in his place, put the foundations down, down back in our lives, between God and everything else. And this is from David, but written by the Holy Spirit. He says, oh, Lord, you have searched me and only you know, my sitting down and my eyes in up, you understand my thought afar off. you comprehend my path, and my lying down and are acquainted with all my eyes. And there is not a word on my tongue or that they hold Oh, Lord, you know it all together. You have hedged mean beyond and before and laid your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me. It's too hard to attain. I cannot attain. Where can I go from your spirit? And where can I flee from your persons. If I send it to heaven, you're there. If I make my bed in hell, behold, you are there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there, your hand shall leave me. And your right hand shall hold me. This, this song is showing us God's supreme power of all things. There is no contest. God is Lord everywhere in heaven in earth. Everything is a prophecy in the air about us that he will keep us that he seen or he seen our seals on his way this up, and he said, You're worth it. And it's prophesied here that no matter where we go, no matter what happens in our life, God courageous and He will teach us and it will keep us safe. Father we thank you that you are releasing us spiritually from Europe. Follow the law we're not worried about trade deals fruit Brexit law, because we want to be separated spiritually from your Father, Lord, we thank you that you are moving in the spiritual realms right now. We pray that your strength furnace that your blesses, Lord, that we stand alone as a nation, Father, that this nation belongs to God, yes, move by your Spirit God. pray, Lord that you will put fire around the Lord I pray that you will put the fire of God around our Buddhas. We might have father a government but Lord we leave the king kings we need to God around we need you to brave loyal, bless this government He blesses the monarchy but Lord, they cannot Lord get us into heaven. It is only Jesus. You tell us you all the way the truth on the life. We don't want motivational words Father, we don't want no more. Father. Messages Father God from innkeepers that Lord have their own agendas. There's no room for Jesus in His Church Father, we don't want no more false prophets. We don't want more false preachers and teachers we want spirit filled leaders Father, Lord, I pray that you will raise up and Lord they are already in this nation. Yeah, Father, we come on, Lord. Thank you. We thank you for your son Jesus. Yes, Lord, that our hope is entirely upon him. We thank you for it PS blood that was shed blood. We thank you that in his death, we have life. Yeah. And that promise of life Jesus. its fullness. So Father, we just lift to all those Yes. Or no, you're at the moment. Who? Yeah, that's suffering. And they they're crying out to you because they're not having life in all its fullness. They feel like film a friend down they feel the cost. They feel anxious. Thanks, feel lost. Hallelujah. So Father, we ask, you will meet with them so that they will experience the life that you get for its fullness. And Father, this verse from Psalm 130, Israel, put your hope in the Lord, yeah. For with the Lord, his unfailing love, and with him is for redemption. And he himself were redeemed Israel, he himself will redeem us from our sins from all their sins. So thank you, Father, that you bring redemption. As you did. You proclaimed it and David proclaimed it in those songs that you will bring for redemption. Yes, a man and father, may that be a comfort to us this morning. Yes. And as we as we approach Christmas, we think about the birth of your son. And like your father, we think about how the Holy Spirit moved. In those times. I just think of the shepherds, the lowest of low in that community, but you decided to reveal your glory to them first, they were able to see your glory and they were brought to your son. So Father, we pray that more and more people will be brought to your son, and they will be brought to a decision in their lives as to who they should follow.

Andy Hammond:we won't know father. So pour out your Holy Spirit again, at this time. Pour out your spirit into our communities into our two churches. May May our churches not be dead and creaking and the doors clicking but they will be full of fully oil, your spirit for the fresher will be called out. So we thank You, Father, and may we be able to celebrate this Christmas, the birth of your son, may we be able to bring that joy to all those who are languishing really in their homes at this moment. scared to go out. We pray Father that you will bring comfort that you will bring companionship. May the phone ring for them to hear a voice of kindness and love. Pour out your love. Pour out your companionship, Father God, we can't do anything without you. Yeah, can we can't do this Come on. Thank you. We want miracles in our communities. So Father, we asked you to bring wisdom, wisdom into our government, wisdom, Father God, and we asked you to be without healthcare work. Yes. Our doctors and nurses and all the support staff, that you will bring refreshment and life into their work, Father, God, give them tenacity. Give them the energy to be able to carry on and may their touch on their patience. Be as if you were there that you were to tending to them. So we ask Father, for your love. Reverend Ben Cooper:trust in him at all times. You people pour out your hearts name. For God is our refuge father we we do we trust you Lord, we learn and Father we might be learning to trust you this morning. Lord, we're learning to walk again Father, Lord in faith, Lord when we leave religion we leave tradition behind today. And a lot of produce pandemic law we may have been shaken law we may have been stirred. But right now Lord, Father, I pray that we will walk afresh Could you tell us the steps of a good person are ordered by the Lord father we come before they this morning on father we stand on the Word of God we lost in the word of father when it's fresh into the world love my soul, as it says in Psalm 62 my soul finds rest in god father, each one of us listening and watching father we find rest in this mind. My hope comes from him this morning. Lord I'm healed I am less love affair is gone and the name of a lot I stand upon it wrong this morning. You are at fortress You are our fortress you are truly our rock and our salvation. Lord, there is no one nothing Lord, Romans eight Nothing can separate us from the love of God. Love no matter what anybody says to us, we are children of the living gun. We belong to the God of Israel, we stand on the Word of God and father the devil is under our feet Lucifer is undoubtedly we are children of the living. We belong to the God of Israel and nothing nothing's out of the hands of God. Romans eight romans eight Father, we thank you for romans eight Nothing can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus. Father, nothing, no cities can no fear can no worry can But father the battlefield that battle that we all face, Lord, the temptations of the world, Father, Lord, we want to go that way but that buddy is telling us we're going that way love will. We're trying to follow the word. We're trying to live holy law but the word father is bringing conflict and information law in law that we don't need father remove the morning, remove the junk remove the liars father, as Don said, you mentioned that word lie there. Oh, the devil is the father of lies and we want to give him a foothold. We stand on the Word of God to notice Lord this morning Psalm 62. We stand in that you are our salvation is our honor depends on God. Not on man.

Reverend Ben Cooper:is our mighty rock my rescue. I trust them at all times. Lord, we trust you at all times. Lord, I'm sorry when our family You I'm sorry, but I thank you for the power of the word of repentance. I repent, Lord of everything I've said everything I've done all the people I've harmed all the people I've sent wrong things do the city things I've done but Lord, that is the power of repentance redemption. Lord, we are redeemed. We are redeemed love before I was created you died for me. Before I done my first sin, you now add it to the cross a Calvary law 2300 years ago, you now add it to the cross it was now with free nouns of the law facades all that you didn't need them soldiers to put you on that cross. It was destined it was in the word father, that was a redemption plan. You didn't need them human beings to lift you to to drop the cross in the Sukkot. That was the plan redemption. And Father, I thank you for the power of the cross. Yeah, that each one of us listening and watching. No matter what we think of ourselves, you love us unconditionally. No matter how many times we beat us with the club of doubt. No matter how many times we wag our fingers lawn, with the club of disobedience load no matter how many times we beat ourselves on YouTube, we are still children of the living guy because no matter how far on what we wander and run into that is not godly. You still love the political use a Father I pray for all the protocols this morning. All those that a yo yo in, in our father, all those Father God that run because of fear run because it might seem the grass is greener. On the other side. I pray for the protocols this morning, Lord and we may be a protocol in our spiritual way of thinking we might run not just in our physical but we run from your father in our in our understanding in our head, our heart Look, the father you always the father's arms are always open. He doesn't matter what I've done what I've said there is forgiveness in Jesus. Thank you seven times, no 77 times. forgiven, forgiven, forgiven, forgiven, washed in the blood washed in the blood washed in the blood forgiven Lord, I thank you now at the name of Jesus. Lord, no weapon formed against us shall prosper. We are children of the living God and Lord we keep Psalm 62 Lord from verse 13258 not on our spirit Lord my soul finds rest in God my salvation comes from in Lord with tighter ministry. We're tired of church we're tired of religion. We're tired Lord of of lies from home. Because of those profits. We're tired Father God of men's ministry is Lord that have been built up Lord when I mean men's our main man has built his own Tower of Babel within the church fathers strip every tower down a Bible or father strip every tower download Father God where everyone is lifting up a high tower trying to elevate themselves over the God of Israel, strip it down. Lord, I pray that we will realize Lord that we can do nothing without you But with you Lord, Spirit of the Living God, we cry out this morning our heart cries. Lord, we want true from pulpits. Lord, we want spirit filled preachers, Lord, to press the gospel Lord, I want to have been I want to feel like the power of God's Word coming over the pulpit. Lord I want to be brought under conviction or I want to be tickled Lord with the church stick anymore the feather duster Lord, I want to hear the Word of God I want to shake bottle was shining that word to shake me and change me a lot. I don't need motivational preaching anymore. Not I don't need religious sounding words coming over pulpit law when I get on there and say underlord ministry I want to hear learn where I'm going wrong. I want to hear the word I want to feel the power of God's word. I want that word to change me when I sit in that Pew I want to feel the power of God's Word working in my spirit. Lord shaped me and mommy Lord without you Lord, I am elusive and dangerous cannon Spirit of the Living God send your word now. So this nation Lord, in the name of Jesus roar. Lord, you tell us you on the line of Judah. Let us hear your roar. Lord, we've heard religion and men roaring Lord and Lord beating and peddling the gospel for money. Now I want my Jesus. I want my God, Father Bree, for the church, blow everything out of church. That is disrespectful. blow everything out. That is unholy. I love that word of God, that was changed with us. You can imagine a person as a sail examining those powerful links of fear, now unbreakable for us. But Jesus one word, snap in your face. Because if the sun sets you for Yeah, you're free free. The phrase just a little while, the word God covered you the power center can go into hell. And he said, the gates of hell will not prevail against every church. That's us. God has given us this supernatural, powerful word to speak of all these fears. And Lord on this podcast now wherever you are, we speak them over you are locked in fear, feel shaking. And if you believe that lie that nothing can bite that chain, nothing can get you out.
