It's been a lot of people, you know, you might be a Christian earlier or, or it may be, you know, if you just try to struggle and get through you might think God has passed you by my God. Yeah, in all of this. Because, like you said, Ben, you know, the only God from the government we don't call to prayer from from our national church leaders. Without You know, we don't hear Ben we don't hear national church leaders standing up.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Standing up, and what we mean by that is standing up at the gates of number 10.
Simon Pinchbeck:Standing up
Reverend Ben Cooper:for Jesus, we are not going to have this we're not gonna have this Why is a partnership though isn't there is a partnership with the church and government where government is controlling the church, the government is telling the church, how it's going to do things spiritually,
Simon Pinchbeck:is really the church. Barna knows
Reverend Ben Cooper:this horribly for years, but we are coming to a time where we are going to have to see the real church emerging, which I think we are now real men, brothers, leaders in Christ that we all know that are gonna have to go right there's a fork in the road, aver on following that fork for number 10 uncom and beyond the pharaoh or I'm going to be under Jesus.
Simon Pinchbeck:I saw something was quite encouraging actually. Yeah. On on the YouTube. Yeah. And funnily enough, it came from a Roman Catholic bishop over in the States. Yes, that out. And nowadays, he told us, he told Bishop, Bishop burning was he said exactly what it is. He said exactly. Our This COVID has been used for the globalization of the world. And he said, Do you know what he said? He said, there's no talk about salvation. There's no talk about repentance. There's no talk about Jesus Christ, because the deal is pin. God is still on the front
Reverend Ben Cooper:control,
Simon Pinchbeck:still parent Name of Jesus to break every chain, and they still pound a blood of Jesus to cleanse everything. So he hasn't passed us by it now you know that. He's still there. He's the same yesterday, today and forever.
Reverend Ben Cooper:God is in full control. And that's what we've got to come to realize that he's in charge. He's in control. And what is happening is going to happen. Yeah, no matter how much we pray for it to stop it's not going to stop what we're gonna be praying for is strength for me in the storm.
Simon Pinchbeck:We are in the biggest spiritual battle I believe since Yeah, cross. So definitely, if we're not, if we're not praying, or doing whatever we can, yeah, Gabby's finger over the line into to bring the victory that's already been won in the in the spiritual and to, to bring it onto the earth, then I'm afraid. We're just on the sidelines. We're done. And God is saying, Yeah, sure, as you quite rightly said, it's your choice. If you go sit on the subs bench, or you can be on the field yet.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Yeah, you know, you can even go you can follow number 10. Or you can follow number one,
Simon Pinchbeck:number one, the King
Reverend Ben Cooper:of kings and the Lord of lords. You know, you can the church is coming to the fork, isn't it? Yeah, the church is coming to the fork in a road. It has been it has been primed. It has been led up to this time, where we go, you know what, I thank God for the government. I thank God for what they're trying to do, but actually, I'm going to follow up. Jesus, I'm gonna listen to the word I'm going to get in the word. saturate.
Simon Pinchbeck:There's a story in the Old Testament and there's some great stories. Love it. We love it. I love
Reverend Ben Cooper:the Old Testament if you go to church that really much, because Christ covered everything. Replacement placement theology loves everywhere. Love is everywhere. Crikey, yeah, judgment, no judgment. without talking about the Old Testament in the church. It's all gonna be light and fluffy. And Jesus loves you. And he wants you for some, yeah,
Simon Pinchbeck:these parts in the New Testament, we're going to
Reverend Ben Cooper:talk about lust of the flesh. We won't talk about that,
Simon Pinchbeck:because you could do all things with a verse out of context. Yeah. So if you go into one Samuel one, four, and at the time, you know, Shiloh, there was it was, it was it was the pinnacle, really, of the of the Church of the base route. But it come through a period where Eli was, was, like, was a priest. He was looking over it. Things were not going well because he's two sons with with fornication and daughters in the church. Eli was was taking the best of the meats when he was living on Philly, many on prospect sounds
Reverend Ben Cooper:a bit sounds a bit like 2020 church, it's,

Reverend Ben Cooper:yeah. And the church as what is it done now? lost the presence of God, the presence of God, it's still operating.
Simon Pinchbeck:It's still operating. It's still it was still operating. And flesh, one of one of his son, one of the, the daughter in law of one of his sons. She was having a baby at the time. And she said, God is passing by she had this baby. She called it Nicobar. And she said that God has passed me by and she, she didn't want to know the baby and the fact that she died. She died saying God has passed me by God has left me well. The thing is,
Reverend Ben Cooper:God hadn't not let
Simon Pinchbeck:price go. And from that room, he brought that memory bought up Samuel from Yes, it was already a year from Samuel where Sol, who became a great leader, though he obviously fell away but from Saul was David David came from that nine, token, and all the sudden, see, God always raises up a remnant, Danny, so
Reverend Ben Cooper:David come from that line. And then when, when you go into the New Testament, that the church is always in, you know, you follow the genealogy of Christ. Christ comes from Yeah, a line that you would never think.
Simon Pinchbeck:So God has, you know, if you think God is fine, it's your choice. It's your choice. At the end of the day, it's your choice.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Without choice that way, the power of free will, wow, the power of free will, God is in full charge. And we're a folk, am I going to number 10 on my game,

Simon Pinchbeck:on a new faith was looking for a new remedy. He's looking for them. They're men that go, you know what, I'm gonna shake this off. And I, and this is exciting times. For me.
Reverend Ben Cooper:It's great times, I'm starting to realize this is a great time to be breathing,
Simon Pinchbeck:because there's a harvest out of
Reverend Ben Cooper:this harvest. And it's, it's ripe. And we've never been this way before. As God said to the Israelites through gesture of Moses, you're going on a new journey, but you've never been this way. But listen, Joshua, chapter three, verse nine, says a real powerful thing. Joshua said to the Israelites, come and listen to the words of the Lord, your God, wow. That's what I've got to do. Guess what we got to listen to the voice and to the Word of God, the spoken word, the written word, yeah. I listened to the word if I listen to the worldly word, if I listen to the lesser voice, the satanic voice that is out there, what it will tell you, I'll
Simon Pinchbeck:tell you, the enemy will tell you, you, you'll be you'll be eaten from the, from the tree of good and evil. From from the tree of life, you know. So the enemy tells you of course, pass your Bible. Jesus wants to tell you come on along. He wants to say, Come to me down. He wants to say come to me with all your burdens come to me. He's still there.
Reverend Ben Cooper:He's still in full charge.
Simon Pinchbeck:The King of glory, what we've been talking about on these podcasts over the weeks, what we've become to realize that if you step out of the shield of faith, you step out Oh, Jesus Christ. You're in trouble.
Reverend Ben Cooper:You're gonna get a bullet.

Reverend Ben Cooper:this for weeks and weeks. I'm way
Simon Pinchbeck:behind Jesus. Keep your eyes focused on Jesus don't look around the world.
Reverend Ben Cooper:The world 12 verse two that Simon has just said, Keep your eyes on Jesus. The offer and Pinera. Yeah, of your faith. Your faith is an interesting and we keep coming back to that assigned call the same call Jesus follows the Cross has to be as always, always about Christ. You know, you can do all things through Christ that gives us strength. There is something powerful about when you lean in when you lean into Jesus and as you said, God hasn't passed us by. He is here he is walking this earth with us. He's not left us as orphans. We are blessed and highly favored. We are chosen. He's with us to strengthen us. But isn't it interesting to see the church is backpedaling all the time? It feels like the to me the church has gone dead quiet. I know there's a lot of stuff online and all that. But you look around and it's just like, it's like a graveyard
Simon Pinchbeck:as it's falling apart. And I think we're gonna do another podcast we would we could talk a bit more about where the actual church is gone and why it's gone that way.

Simon Pinchbeck:yet in Revelation. john was on Patmos, yeah. He wrote the revelation. Why would imagine that he was he was he was he was he was Bally's. Nobody got it by a robot ship. You know, and he was banished only, you know, so he only had
Reverend Ben Cooper:Yeah, when you think about that, in all seriousness, he wrote that powerful book, in a time of crisis.
Simon Pinchbeck:In a time of crisis,
Reverend Ben Cooper:when they have been banished. He
Simon Pinchbeck:didn't know where he's when the next boat was coming along to give him another bag of rice or any prisoners on there. We're gonna run a mile today with the skeezers on that case. But so we had the church at one, didn't he?
Reverend Ben Cooper:Just him just and as we always say, those are not afraid of Father, Son, Holy Spirit. So we've always got, we've always got gotten with us, the father's witness at all times. Never think you're alone. Never think you'll never think you're alone. That's what lockdown has done. Isn't it for humanity, isolation. And it's in your way,
Simon Pinchbeck:it's fallen right into the enemy's plan? Because he wants to Yes. Isolate. Yeah. And pull you apart? Yeah. He wants you to think that you're the only one gone through the stuff that you're going through. Yeah, you're the only one with doubts and fears. You're the only one with with these problems. And as we said earlier, Ben and I think it was a great point that we bought out was the devil. The Evil One the enemy makes work for idle hands. So yeah, may if you've got time on your hands, and you're not pressing into them earlier, no, you're not present to the world. You're not giving it to the Lord. You're not coming to the cross. Yes, yeah, you're gonna be doing other stuff again, doing
Reverend Ben Cooper:other stuff. You're gonna be watching Netflix. Oh, stefana to goodness gracious.
Simon Pinchbeck:And, and this is a time for another podcast, another talk, but you really got to be careful what you're bringing into your house.
Reverend Ben Cooper:You gotta be so careful. Now. What can there's a there's so much you can bring in. And it is easy to fall into a trap of that anyone can do. It doesn't matter. You're cold, you're blessed, you're chosen. You've got to resist, resist the devil and he will flee. But there's always an opportunity where he would try to attach something to you, and try and bring you down and bring someone under your roof and try and tell you something that really isn't true. Just like in the Garden of Eden.
Simon Pinchbeck:The enemy is in full control of Hollywood. And it means goodness, full control of the media. Yeah, he's in full control of that step. And a lot of people obviously a tune in Yeah, and stuff like Netflix. they've they've, they've gotten away from the terrestrial TV. channel one. So I've got Netflix. I'm really thinking about canceling it in the new year. Okay. My boy came over for Christmas day and he said, oh, let's find a film or watch that, you know. I said, Okay, so we flicked through and we see this film I think it was called Bad mums or something. You know. Ben within the set,
Reverend Ben Cooper:minutes,
Simon Pinchbeck:minutes, there was a seriously there was a 10 year old girl taking the name of the Lord God in vain but putting a swear word in front of it a 10 year old little girl but not just once, but many times. So I switched that thing down because it Yeah. Yeah, but the thing is, the bigger picture is that the enemy is in these films. Yeah, he's already taking the Lord's name in vain. Yeah, you'll
Reverend Ben Cooper:you know you'll, and it's been pumped out everywhere pumped up everywhere. So children and humanity think that this is okay because it's on to normal. So whatever comes across the screen to swear in front
Simon Pinchbeck:Jesus to see Yeah to the word of the name of God. Yeah, there's no reverence anymore. There's no fear of that
Reverend Ben Cooper:you can say and do what you like he can literally say and do what you like and there's no consequence anymore.
Simon Pinchbeck:So when we say you know if if you've been at time on your hands and you've been, you know, inadvertently watching this stuff, taking this stuff in
Reverend Ben Cooper:for your eye gaze and your your eye guy and you're gonna be so many seeds.
Simon Pinchbeck:So that taught us so all of a sudden, you'll see it and you're coming out with the same stuff is Yeah, what?
Reverend Ben Cooper:Yeah, it's very clever in in our, in our, the media on our TV, draws you in draws you into certain things. And you've got to be so careful because the Bible says each man is drawn away by his own lusts. There is something within every human being every believer that could easily draw you away and become a protocol you've dived, you've dropped into something you've sold something you've engaged in something that is not quite right and it's the flesh is so strong, because
Simon Pinchbeck:you'll never we've said it all the time on this platform, you'll never beat the flesh in the flesh, you'll never do it. And the more you watch this stuff, the more fleshly you become less of the Yeah, so is the thing so as a Christian more so we have to decrease and Jesus has to increase that's
Reverend Ben Cooper:why I got to self
Simon Pinchbeck:but if you're watching this stuff die so the flesh increases and Jesus decreases
Reverend Ben Cooper:so fruit lockdown for lockdown where you've got no choice but to be indoors, so to speak. Yeah, and your flick stuff on like that. You just it's just filtering your system.
Simon Pinchbeck:Filtering totally
Reverend Ben Cooper:just just coming through just getting right through you've got to be saying fed, careful what you actually eat, we know this that what you feed yourself, you will become exactly if you feed yourself Jesus, you will become more Christ like
Simon Pinchbeck:so is the thing. So we said You said that you read the the written word is the logos. Yeah. Right. So the written word. So what you read and what you see becomes the logo. So what you say is the Rema strike. Yeah. So if you're talking, trash talk, talking trash talk, in general talking trash talk, all of a sudden, you get into gossip or you let an F bomb slip out. These these things can happen. We got again, the Word of God.
Reverend Ben Cooper:And the more you get in the more than battle can be at first. It is a spiritual battle. If you're following Christ, there is a battle within and the church hasn't addressed. It hasn't spoken about as it preached, it hasn't dealt with it. That when you belong, and when you come to be a believer for Christ Jesus, you better do your seat belt up. Because the enemy satanic attack oppression will come against you. He will do anything to keep you out on the Word of God.
Simon Pinchbeck:Totally. And he would
Reverend Ben Cooper:even put you in church that don't preach your word because you think I'm in church. I'm all right.
Simon Pinchbeck:All your leisure to YouTube. Yeah. prosperity teachers that Yeah, they use the word God in in the way that is not supposed to be used.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Just because I'm in church doesn't mean to say that church for Jesus. No, no, it's
Simon Pinchbeck:not. I'm afraid it and what what I've seen and maybe we'll talk a bit more about it. What I've seen recently and you speak about it quite a lot. We've seen that the increase of adjustable Spirit through the church which is a controlling Yeah, yeah. Which will take at the church one way even Yes, saw it this weekend in a good friend, a good Christian man, not aware of the controlling spirit. So I don't understand why my church leader is you know, I started this alpha course and they didn't want me to do it. I did this and they didn't want me to do it. There's a controlling spirit that he couldn't understand it until until it was explained to him you know that that there is a controlling spirit there's more control be got Be very, very careful. Really very careful as a Christian today, in this day and age more than ever, you got to have your head on a swivel man because you got bees coming at you out and
Reverend Ben Cooper:like soul 20 soldiers out to get soldiers out to stab you. David had three opportunities where a see saw coming against him with with to stab him in the back. And it's the same you got Joseph bell in the wings. You've got soul in the wings. You've got Judas Iscariot that will sell you for cash. You got Pharaoh trying to control you. So as a believer, you've got all these characters that are around you and then and then to cover that as well. You've also Got, you got you got so much to be careful of in the spirit world of where you've got people that you thought that you could rely on when you can't. And that was dressed in sheep's clothing.

Reverend Ben Cooper:It's an eye opening thing at this moment what
Simon Pinchbeck:you what we're very tempted to do is run to the prophetic differently. Well, the template run to these guys who Yes, set up a YouTube channel, a year a word and they say, Yes. What we're doing is basically run into a fortune teller. That's what we're doing. Yeah. We're not rented across,
Reverend Ben Cooper:I don't need anyone to give me a word from God. Because all I need to be is in in God to get a word. I thank God for the, the prophet. So thank God for the preachers and the teachers. But the scripture clearly tells me very clearly, in the New Testament, it says, You only need the Holy Spirit to teach you. We just
Simon Pinchbeck:need the Holy Spirit. That's all we need. Be open to God. He's the greatest life coach there is.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Drop the word in your Spirit, He will speak for his word, he will get confirmation through His Word, you will get life through His Word, you'll get hope. through His Word. God is in control.
Simon Pinchbeck:He's in control. And that's where we that's where we come in, again, your baseline, your default mechanism, you know, you I used to have a locker remember the old radios?
Reverend Ben Cooper:Yeah, right.
Simon Pinchbeck:We had a digital radio and all that sort of stuff. Well, sometimes it'll all go out of whack. And you had to bring it back to the default. Yeah, re situation, reset,
Reverend Ben Cooper:careful, that word, the great reset, what
Simon Pinchbeck:are they selling? Oh, hold on, we can use it because the great reset for the world is is this globalization plan. But the great reset for us as Christianity is across the Jesus the Christ, that is something David never had
Reverend Ben Cooper:come to the cross, every bad sort of conversation, come to the cross combat gambling addiction, or come to the cross fear, or come to the cross sexual sin, come to the cross drinking, to the everything. You know, even just thinking even just having a bit of a wacky day, I
Simon Pinchbeck:just come back to come across. And Jesus says in in Matthew 1128. Come to me all those who are heavy burden and Laden,
Reverend Ben Cooper:I will give you I need the rest of you rest don't need rest today. Rest. My yoke is easy. my burden is Thank You, Jesus. Thank you, Lord, who take it from you. It'll take it but it takes effort. So he says come to me. So I've got to make the effort. I've got to make the effort by making the effort. To make an effort, I got to realize that I have a problem. To make an effort takes effort. It takes emotional, it takes physical it takes everything is a journey. It's not sitting back on the sofa, like we said with Netflix, with a church cigar burning. You know, I mean with Holy Communion. Give me give me give me give me nice, takes effort. It needs looking at yourself. One Corinthians chapter 11 verse 28, rant about that. It says, examine yourself. You got to examine yourself can be painful to look within yourself can be painful now. God is in control. But I still have to come to the I'm on a journey. So I've got a walk. I've got to say God, I've fallen today. I've made a mistake. Today my head is full up with trash. And I can't allow my thoughts to control me the battlefield or wasteland, the fearful moments God you are in charge and control. Help me It takes effort. It takes
Simon Pinchbeck:effort. But the great thing is, is that his arms are always there.
Reverend Ben Cooper:The Father's arms,
Simon Pinchbeck:they're the protocol. They're saying, Come
Reverend Ben Cooper:back, come back. The Father's always looking at,
Simon Pinchbeck:you know we've got if you've if you're out there and thinking that the gods pass you by he hasn't. He hasn't passed. Why is there?
Reverend Ben Cooper:No for psychic?
Simon Pinchbeck:There's an amazing look at these promises of God in the
Reverend Ben Cooper:world. Jesus, come on, Lord,
Simon Pinchbeck:you know, I saw her 4946 and I will not forget you. Oh Jeremiah, one five yet your name is written in the poem.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Thank you, Lord Jude.
Simon Pinchbeck:I will copy for you. I will never leave you or forsake you. discouraged or to be dismissed. Hebrews 13 five, I'll never leave you or forsake you. Psalm 910 I have not forsaken those who seek me. God well Psalm 3723 Use the steps of a good man are dying by the Lord. These are amazing promises of God that we can have if we come to the cross of Jesus Christ and say nothing without you. I'm nothing without you.
Reverend Ben Cooper:That really makes you think that when it really poses it really makes you pause for me to think, doesn't matter what I've done, where I've been doesn't matter how nasty bitter, angry, frustrated doesn't matter. What has happened if I come to the cross? All is forgiven. Come to the power in the cross. No, we're not cleansing bludgeon. Yeah. And we're not looking at the cross, as a as a symbol or when, as in we are worshipping that way out what it does, what we are referring to is the cross is is just reminding us what happened at the cross, I come to the cross and I realized, john 316, that he's forgiven me that he sent his one and only Son, and it doesn't matter what has gone on, on how I am or what has happened. Even as a believer, even whether we're a non believer, you know, that there is nothing under the sun. There's nothing no, you know, I don't know he's so powerful romans eight where it says nothing can separate from the love of God, that is in Christ Jesus is in Christ Jesus is in Christ and,
Simon Pinchbeck:and coming to the cross. It's, it's Galatians 220. I've been crucified with Christ. It's not Ireland live, but Christ lives in me. So we come across and we literally, every single day we can start afresh because star fresh, unknown, which is amazing,
Reverend Ben Cooper:that is the power of repentance, the repentance to say, what read it was that little cultural repentance on the road Dasha, repentance is that Greek is that Hebrew called penance, Otis lost now. That's not even in the Bible. It's an extra biblical knowledge. I've never heard the church talks about I've never heard it sung through certain worship leader never heard pastor, tell me just to give
Simon Pinchbeck:if I look at that word, repent was turning away
Reverend Ben Cooper:What? Turning away, turning away the church telling me to turn away and turn back to go, Wait a minute. What's going on?
Simon Pinchbeck:Thank God for the love of Christ.
Reverend Ben Cooper:No matter what, don't go pray anymore. I'm
Simon Pinchbeck:gonna come back to the cross
Reverend Ben Cooper:repentance. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to bring a bit of Hebrew in it
Simon Pinchbeck:a bit, a great quarter strong doctrine.
Reverend Ben Cooper:I think you've heard that right. You need to go and clear that up. You know, there's no repentance in my Bible. Church, preaching repentance,
Simon Pinchbeck:Ben, but it's, it's there for that turn away. turn back to God put him first. What? First
Reverend Ben Cooper:what did that what was said, what was said but someone in the Bible. I'm not sure that someone was repent and be baptized. I wonder that could be a parent be baptized, repent, but the church just says Be baptized and we'll take another box. We baptize 500 people, but they haven't repent in
Simon Pinchbeck:a suit. believe in Jesus. And
Reverend Ben Cooper:yeah, you're done. You're done. Sign here. Give us your details. But I never know you give us 20 wire. Yeah, I was baptized, or the church left out repent.
Simon Pinchbeck:So I can walk around with shame. With he could still be doing looking at stuff. pornography, you can still be swearing you can still be lost and everything's fine. No, no, it's not. It's not fine. You can't get rid of that stuff. Come back to the cross. Repent. confess it. Yeah. And so back to the law,
Reverend Ben Cooper:but that word repentance, how powerful is that? Huge man. And then you go, Lord, I've fallen. The mind the things that go on in in my mind. My thought pattern, my thinking, my my understanding. I go go, God help me I need to that that fault needs to be taken out. I've got to get out there got to get that out. I've got a lord. I'm feeling angry. Lord, I'm feeling bitter today. Lord, I'm really frustrated. They Lord, I see saying I shouldn't say Lord, I clicked in the site I shouldn't have clicked into Lord. I went into that shop and I was advertising that and I shouldn't have seen that. And Lord, it makes my my head tick. So that I cannot see how a believer can go through the course of the day. It must be just me because I'm just filthy, filthy rags. But I'm always repenting. You know what I mean? I'm learning to understand that Lord help me.
Simon Pinchbeck:Well, the Bible tells us that the the enemies the accuser of the brethren, so he's going backwards and forwards are saying same position of bending.
