Simon Pinchbeck:this people out there. You know, I speak to men on a daily basis, that we all struggle, and there will be this thing. Most definitely January ain't a good month is anyways, it's $1 month. It's a long month, the weather's terrible. And then on top of it, we're locked down
Reverend Ben Cooper:without doubt. So this is the norm. So guys,
Simon Pinchbeck:they want want encouragement, they want encouragement. They want to know that. You know, there's some, yeah, there's stuff that we can that they can cling on to this hope. We've talked about the amazing stuff in the Bible that they would know more about Jesus, they want to be seeking in more and they want to be uplifted. And and we are not going to stop getting these this stuff out. But
Reverend Ben Cooper:we will keep pressing is needed.
Simon Pinchbeck:It's needed at this time.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Yeah. Like when you when you look at everything that's going on and what we talk about. And when you really think about it, the only way that we are going to get through to Valley, Psalm 23 is with Christ, Psalm 23. And then we think of in the New Testament come into the New Testament and think of where it says in Hebrews chapter 12, keep your eyes on Jesus. Yeah, totally. It's the message is always the same, isn't it?
Simon Pinchbeck:It always comes across it always comes back to Jesus Christ, because it's now of a way What have we said, for our these podcasts that we've been doing? God's got one plan?
Reverend Ben Cooper:Yes, he has changed.
Simon Pinchbeck:You don't have a spreadsheet, you don't have a set of questions or answers. He doesn't have a schedule of stuff to do. He's had one plan for 2021 years and Jesus Christ,
Reverend Ben Cooper:it's Jesus all the way all the way.
Simon Pinchbeck:And you know, and we're going to talk a little bit about that this morning, Ben, cuz I just thought, as we turn into the new year, you know, as we turn into the new year, I think a lot of people are thinking, what's
Reverend Ben Cooper:what's ahead of
Simon Pinchbeck:us? What's God's plan tomorrow? Where's my god? fulfilled destiny? What is it?
Reverend Ben Cooper:What is the destiny?
Simon Pinchbeck:So we're gonna talk about this a little bit this morning. And you know what I was thinking? It's kind of on the way down here that I've spoken to a lot of young, younger Christian, guys. And sadly, you know, a lot of them go, Well, I want to know what God's plan is for me. And they quote Jeremiah 2911.
Reverend Ben Cooper:goes, we will.
Simon Pinchbeck:So So yeah, we all want to know what God's God's got a plan. He's got a good thing for me. I want to know what they are. You know? Well, yeah. Yeah. Firstly, they, as we've said, many times, they don't look any further than 2911 they probably don't even look in the Bible. They just probably got it up on the wall somewhere on there, because 2929 13 What's that? Tell us? It tells us
Reverend Ben Cooper:follow me with all all what you sent me all your pockets, for your money,
Simon Pinchbeck:or your money or possessions. Now with all your heart, you got to find you'll find me.
Reverend Ben Cooper:You've got to follow Jesus at every level you seek in your press into him. And you know what, sometimes it seems so difficult to press into Jesus, because you got the circus in the UK that is on show night after night, across the world across the social platforms, you know, it starts off with a meter, keep the meter keep tau. Now he got it free.
Simon Pinchbeck:If you is changing the goalposts is changing all the time. I would just advise anybody there you know, keep your head on a swivel. If your accuracy and what's going on and Don't get too bogged down in mainstream media because maybe they're just pulling copies of fear you know
Reverend Ben Cooper:the news will only release what it wants you to hear it
Simon Pinchbeck:was great talking they were talking about the other day I only go out once a week I you know there was Dr Rhonda on Good Morning Britain going yeah, only pick up the stuff in the supermarket that you want to buy because you don't want to be picking up on putting stuff down when no one's caught this thing from pecan things touching an apple or what
Reverend Ben Cooper:man van delivering parcels to front doors all dialog is locked. We've never seen it before handling letters handling absolutely everything you know, it's like yeah, in a certain area. Where are we?
Simon Pinchbeck:Just please you know look at this thing for the folks that Jesus Christ that's all that's all we can say.
Reverend Ben Cooper:through the lens of Jesus you gotta you gotta trust him. We got our encourage one another. You know, the church is putting out some serious statements about Should we keep the door shut. So there is an exodus happening there is an exodus within the church. There is a there is a two there's a fork in a world there is
Simon Pinchbeck:a fork in the road and is a shaking of the wheat and the chaff as well. I'm not going
Reverend Ben Cooper:to do I'm not gonna lean with the establishment and I'm gonna lean to Jesus. The church is no longer the buildings is it? The churches is you It's me, it's this is church. You know, this is
Simon Pinchbeck:amazing this last week. Just walking down a road. This is just crazy. I met a great man of the Lord and you wouldn't believe this man because we have to get him on Liza. Elvis the Christian Elvis impersonator. Oh, fantastic. Oh, my God, he says is a local guy too. Well, a great guy. But he's, you know, this guy so full of the Lord. So so so on. And we were doing church to get us right in on the pavement. Socially, distance, my word but but we were doing church together. And you can do church by yourself. kosha can I mean we talked about john on Patmos, Timmy, he had to do church on Sundays, no one else
Reverend Ben Cooper:there was a lockdown. He was locked down. He was everything locked down. He was he was in a position where it was just him. It was just him. So what we're gonna do is not just you is it? You've got the Father Son, the Holy Ghost.
Simon Pinchbeck:And what did he do? He wrote the book of Revelation while he was
Reverend Ben Cooper:a powerful book right in lockdown.
Simon Pinchbeck:And he wrote one, john, yeah, yes. And some of that stuff is just as powerful stuff in the Bible.
Reverend Ben Cooper:The greatest writings have come up with Ireland,
Simon Pinchbeck:himself. I'm sure he was, things weren't crazy, didn't know when the next bag of rice was coming or whatever. But he didn't get himself down and that but and but if he did, he pulled himself up by his bootstraps and said, you know, come on. And I think, you know, today we're going to a look into what is everyone's people want to know, what's my purpose? What's God's purpose for me? And it wasn't my destiny. Where Where am I going and we're in a safe and every BORN AGAIN believers of God given death,
Reverend Ben Cooper:Cameron Jesus,
Simon Pinchbeck:and really every unsaved person as a call. Yeah, given destiny as well. So they choose to accept it, you know? But well, before we get into, into where we're going with that, the Bible's full of people who, especially in the Old Testament, it was a Bible.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Class pledging as the Bible. What would you get out from a read Harry Potter? Yeah.
Simon Pinchbeck:sermons from that? Yeah, yeah. Yeah. And there's another couple of good Christian books written by some good Christian guys that probably you should read as well.
Reverend Ben Cooper:out. Okay. Then books then. Then books.
Simon Pinchbeck:We got into the book.
Reverend Ben Cooper:You've got to be in the book. Yeah, the book that has been been stolen salt, the most chased out of government when you think of the persecuted church, when you talk about the book? Yeah. If the book wasn't real, why would governments want to take out that book? But the church is not in the book. The church is laid back. Let the cigar watching Netflix church on the telly today. The churches in the bells have lunch together. Let's just as a church is on the way.
Simon Pinchbeck:But sadly, and we're talking about Elvis, you know, Jesus has left the building.
Reverend Ben Cooper:The Old Testament, Solomon's temple. When man came in Jesus said, turbans, less less go
Simon Pinchbeck:well, we would sort of remember a story of a fellow who's just fine found Jesus and he goes into into a church and he goes out Hello, yeah, I've found Jesus. And an old boy said, Well, he didn't find him in this church. Yeah. He got, look, look, these great men, and we had a podcast where we said, starting off where we finish up and he said, we have these great men of the Bible soul. He started off well, he was a chosen king of Israel, one in the kingdom. So I chose him Samuel chose him he was God's. He went out, he ended up going to seal which didn't need to for his destiny. Tell me about my destiny. He ended up going to which going to see which in the end, and he said coach left me. Course cause left you going dealing with that source? Exactly.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Exactly. So we see that a lot of them were Simon the sorcerer,
Simon Pinchbeck:compared to him again, come
Reverend Ben Cooper:back here you can't help but you can't get out. Come back to Pharaoh, you can't help come back to all the ways Ebell spirit, dude, you know, in the Bible, in the Bible. And Pharaoh, Pharaoh is the enemy and he Yarrow is is really mentioned as really, he is he is the demo. So in Exodus, chapter five, Moses was saying, we want to go in the wilderness, we want to go and worship our God for free days. Well, how often do we hear that about leaders start to they get a little bit of a crowd of better fan base? Yeah. And people start to follow them follow them. And suddenly we there's this battle on? Wow, look,
Simon Pinchbeck:and and all it really they love me?
Reverend Ben Cooper:The only it's all about me? Only.
Simon Pinchbeck:Look, God is the only only person if you like, who knows the end from the beginning. He's the
Reverend Ben Cooper:only one.
Simon Pinchbeck:So if you think you know, you've got you've got all your ducks in a row. If you have a book coming out.
Reverend Ben Cooper:I'm seated at the right hand of the Father. Oh, that's what we say. Yes. What

So there are many Christian men that are in the lion's den that have been pushed away by men in leadership because they don't want to know what their god gift is because if they have a gift that is stronger than the leaders gift scaring No, I am the daddy of this ministry. Reverend Ben Cooper:he? This is a such a fine line, isn't there?
Simon Pinchbeck:And what did he say in the end? in Ecclesiastes, these faces
Reverend Ben Cooper:Give me strength. He
Simon Pinchbeck:says in Ecclesiastes, it doesn't mean anything anyway.
Reverend Ben Cooper:It's
Simon Pinchbeck:always meaningless. It's meaningless. Yeah, he's achieved. He got it. He was probably the, you know, the wealthiest king that.
Reverend Ben Cooper:So there we have a classic example of ivory towers, where people build themselves up when I get to this level. When I get to that level, I've made it this far. When I get to that they're climbing the greasy pole and they get to the top they look across, and they're in the office of London looking across the Thames, and they look around and they realize how lonely they are. It's all meaningless. It's all meaningless. It's how the enemies always some presents it.
Simon Pinchbeck:There's always someone or something.
Reverend Ben Cooper:But what did you
Simon Pinchbeck:mean when you mean the world? Yeah, I remember. I remember watching them something on the telly, and they, they went over their books that one time, you know, but it's Modern Family. And they went to Las Vegas. And he got it. He got them the best suite, the the platinum and sweet or what's up the top. And then he was in the lift going up. And he saw a waiter that was going to a buttload was going to shave he said, Can I get that? That's for the Platinum Plus people. He said what was that there was another there was another layer as another layer. And then he said he got to the Platinum class. And he thought I made it and then he saw a harpist. And he said, she said, Can I get a harpist? She said no, that's for the platinum and ultra me went down. He looked up and there was another layer. So
Reverend Ben Cooper:where do you start? Where do you start? So always there's always something you'll never get to that. Pinnacle.
Simon Pinchbeck:If you if that's what you're searching for worldly acceptance. Yeah, notoriety,
Reverend Ben Cooper:yeah, material gain, they'll never you'll never have enough treasures on are pulling them in.
Simon Pinchbeck:It's a deep hole here. I've experienced it. And the more you put in there, the
Reverend Ben Cooper:more materialism you go for. Yeah, the more foreign gods that you worship. And I think a lot of guys and girls in the world of the church, we don't realize that we worship foreign gods, because we've been brought up in a culture in a society that has almost made it the norm. Yes. And you follow things and you don't realize, hang on a minute, I didn't realize I'm lifting this up more than I'm lifted up. Jesus, I've I give this sport more time than I give to Jesus. The Bible has got dust on it. But the sky remote, you know, is worn out. It's worn out. I'm changing batches in it all day long. Yeah, I've gotten I'm adding, I'm subscribing to more stuff
Simon Pinchbeck:that could be myself and even, and even watching. Maybe some Christian stuff. You know, you're getting you're getting into into that. And the warning today really is Yeah, watch what we're saying. But listen to what was saying because there's clues in what we're saying. Because what we're saying is getting to the Bible, came to the Bible answered a word, but getting to the word with the Spirit of God, because that will give you a revelation, you
Reverend Ben Cooper:have to look at the word Christianity denier. Is that person that I'm following? Or that but not that, when I say following what I mean is it's just that I'm listening to the preacher or the teacher or whoever it is, or are they really a believer? I think you've got to bring the word Christianity and the word Christian into the, into the ring with these people that you're talking about. Are they real? Bible believing believers, another scripture says all have sinned and fallen short with glory. And we're all we're all freshing things out within us because all of us are sinners. You don't tell the church that said that a lot. I know that but, you know, we're all sinners and we're all fighting lust of the eyes, the pride of life, we're all fighting. The stuff the world sexualize is everything. It's all about sex, drugs, and rock and roll and

Reverend Ben Cooper:and that a man or a woman is having all this stuff frosted in your Face it all day long. And you got to be careful that your eyes are not locked onto something because the Bible says each man is drawn away by his own. Yeah.
Simon Pinchbeck:lusts. Yeah. And that doesn't just mean sexual. Anything. I mean, look how many baseball caps you've got, you know

Simon Pinchbeck:and to rise again, you you can't you cannot get your head around. It is the King of Kings sit in the room, sitting there with the Father. Yes, stoops down,

Simon Pinchbeck:what the Father destiny, that Father often told him to live
Reverend Ben Cooper:as a man and live as a man be tempted in every way, shape and form. Have Satan that you created as an angel at the beginning of time, come against you against heaven. Then Jesus says in the New Testament, in the Bible as well, the New Testament you know, Jesus said to the disciples, I see Satan for light lightning. Yeah, yeah. So here we have Christ that is before time and in time that created the heavens and the earth, sees this beautiful angel that he created at the Garden of Eden sitting there and all that stuff that goes on with all what you look at about angelic activity sees the greatness and the beauty. And it's told that we for the scripture that that he was created in such beautiful form, and then Satan falls like lightning hits the earth. Christ tells us that. And then we have this angel that Christ created suddenly in the in this place of testing Jesus. But what did Jesus say? As it is written in the word he did not sway from his destination
Simon Pinchbeck:stone sway from his destiny and here's the thing, but you know what i? I was what brought him to me this week is Jesus lived for 30 years that we really don't know a great deal about
Reverend Ben Cooper:what happened. very foggy. Yeah, but a degree Yeah, but in three years, this this guy is just smashed everything about the park and he lose 22 very clearly, where it tells us about Judas had Satan into into him at that particular point sold Christ. For 30 pieces of silver. We have the high priests saying right in the face of Judas, we want to read this Jesus, we want to get him out of the way. Wow, what's it gonna cost us?
Simon Pinchbeck:Yeah, where's he gonna go? Well,
Reverend Ben Cooper:we got across the world, the world, the satanic leaders, because you can only be one or another very well. You can only be you can only be for Christ or against Christ.
Simon Pinchbeck:They've taken a 30 pieces of silver man and they're getting rid of
Reverend Ben Cooper:time again. God is being removed across all China. I should say. I've said that wrong. I've got to apologize. They're trying to remove God. Yeah, it's impossible to remove him.
Simon Pinchbeck:You can see all this. And he's just letting it play out because something's gonna happen. That's the truth. But Jesus on in that same chat, yeah. Yellow 22. Yeah, he was, he was on his face. Tears of droplets of blood, say, not my will. But your will be done father. So even at that point,
Reverend Ben Cooper:right point, when you really think about that,
Simon Pinchbeck:he knew he knew what he was what was coming.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Because as is has done it, he knows the end from the beginning, the end
Simon Pinchbeck:was coming. He doesn't
Reverend Ben Cooper:come in as a man as a man of a sweat and droplets of blood, because the
Simon Pinchbeck:pain and the suffering, he knows what he's gonna have to go from.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Yeah. Because when you analyze that sweat and droplets of blood, you can you got to look at that, that, that you can only do that as a human being. You can't do that as a spirit because the spirit has no flesh and blood. But the Bible says Christ became flesh and made his dwelling alive. So everything we see Christ do was in his humanity, but still,
Simon Pinchbeck:as the word as the word. Yeah, yeah. So the power of free will. He, he fulfilled his destiny of the Father. And the Bible tells us that he rose again and sat at the right end of the Slavia fulfilling his destiny so soon as Jesus been everyone is at the same Jesus as the same destiny. Yeah, even before we were born, there was a destiny. Yeah, because like you said, that was God's plan.
Reverend Ben Cooper:That was the plan.
Simon Pinchbeck:So as soon as Jesus One destiny one purpose adoption in Jesus Christ tells us that in Ephesians, one 312 and coming back to the Father through Jesus. So what does that mean? Our destiny, our destiny? What is my purpose? What is your purpose? Your purpose is to become daily more like Jesus died to you self.
Reverend Ben Cooper:How hard is that? Yeah, well,
Simon Pinchbeck:for Jesus to ink We love you. Yeah, come
Reverend Ben Cooper:on, lift your profile. Yeah, let your great Simon you are, you're gonna be the bishop. So you're gonna be Simon, you're great. You've got a new archroma Now can I just, you know,
Simon Pinchbeck:a few things in there. Not quite true. But you know, we're all for the glory of
Reverend Ben Cooper:the world promotes self promote self. But Jesus is all about Jesus.
Simon Pinchbeck:And that's all he ever wants from us for our destiny is to be more and more like Jesus to accept Him as our Lord and Savior in our heart, to follow him to the Father. But a father says born that take a step each day and become more like my son. That is the only destiny I don't really want. I don't want you if you if this stuff from the world that I want to give you. Yeah, I'll give you
Reverend Ben Cooper:Saiki first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, every everything else will come in at the right time he will he will supply all my needs according to his riches in glory according to his
Simon Pinchbeck:everything we do is for him should be to glorify God, he
Reverend Ben Cooper:should say I'm doing my father's will. Yeah, this is this is for him to get glory. What did God say to Moses come back to Pharaoh again in that place? He said, what you see your enemies today, you won't see him anymore because God will get the glory for Pharaohs actions. So you just got to be obedient, obedient, obedient, and you will see the glory of God not because how great I am as a human being but how great God is. Yeah. And he's he's using us, we you whoever has an instrument in your situation, but the only way that you will know what your calling is, and what you are meant to do on this earth is when you seek
Simon Pinchbeck:Him seek Him and that's your destiny is to seek Him now if God wants to put number one, if God wants to put things bless you on a
Reverend Ben Cooper:journey, he will he will. He might live a life on the island of Patmos where a little bit different a day
Simon Pinchbeck:can be on it.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Yeah, he can hear a lot of people saying Yeah, large semi semi there. But then it's got Wi Fi. I ain't going yeah. If you ain't got comfortable chairs I'm not going put me up in a premiere in Lord help me live in a heart. Jesus now I got this guy. I ain't going
Simon Pinchbeck:Destiny's been a child of God and tournament and bringing glory to His name Power BI every day. That's your destiny. Yeah. Now everything else this will. This will free up a lot of people who listen to this because they think, Oh, I gotta do this. I've got to do that. God's saying no, no, no, no. Just Son Jesus Christ. Yeah. And we know it's not easy. There's the deal. is the deal. Stay in. We've said it time and time again. You know, we said it just in the pre in the pre meeting today. And we'll keep saying it because it because it needs to be gone home. You know, Jesus said to me, Matthew 1120. Come to me with all your burdens. With my yoke is easy my burden. So if we're if Jesus is sharing the yoke of what we're carrying,
Reverend Ben Cooper:yes, that's right, then we're moving forward.
Simon Pinchbeck:You're moving forward with Jesus. And he says it's like, because he's sharing the burdens among we try and do anything to the left or right or look behind Jesus or stepping out a yoke. That's right. And we've got it by us. Yeah. And that's when it becomes a tough
Reverend Ben Cooper:challenge really tough. But we we, then we, this is all about following Jesus, it always comes it always, always about Jesus totally can't be any other way. So we look at you look at life at this moment in time in lockdown, and this is a, this is a time where we should be exploring and looking in and saying, God, where do you want me? What What is the purpose of my life? You look at your game, look at what you may have accumulated for your, your earthly gift for your skill that you might have a businessman, businesswoman, wherever you are, whatever you're doing, what you have gained. Is that really what God wants for you, or have you used your own ability to get that?

You know, we have to be very careful that we're following Jesus and becoming more like Jesus in every aspect of our life. And what's the biggest aspect of our life? It's our home life. We have to be very careful that we're, we're leading with showing Jesus in everything in everything we do. In our in our home life. Yeah. Because God's not looking for you to start a crate ministry is not gonna look for you to do another great big book Deal or No, no, if it wants to bless you with that, it will come it will come. But that's not the purpose. That is not the purpose of you, you know, you stand before him and say, I wrote this book, Lord, I wrote that book, Lord,
Reverend Ben Cooper:but then Jesus goes, have you read what I wrote? Have you read?

Simon Pinchbeck:here's the thing, if you if you're in a family, if you got a family, or you're raising your children be more like Jesus.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Gosh, there is a challenge there is to raise your children's that's that's what yeah, that's what it is. But that that challenge alone, that challenge alone, because when you start raising your children, as believers, you are going against certain areas of education, you are going against certain areas of life, so your children will come under the hammer.
Simon Pinchbeck:There's only one way to raise children, that's example, example example.
Reverend Ben Cooper:And when you've done that,
Simon Pinchbeck:for example, or example, so if
Reverend Ben Cooper:you're with me,
Simon Pinchbeck:yeah, it started with me as the Father, or the mother, if they try to be more like Jesus every single day. And it's a matter of inches in it. One steps on one step,

Simon Pinchbeck:then the Lord or the children will see that in you.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Jericho didn't fall on the first day, for the first day. Now you got time. And what is more important than the time is the obedience that goes along with the time being obedient. But when you become obedient to the Word of God, there is a spiritual gain from that you start to get peace, you start to get joy, but also the flesh, and the world starts to pull you even more. So as he writes, Oh, God, we're getting a bit heavier. He stopped, he stopped. There is a there is a separation of the spirit and the body. And you can't allow your emotions and perception and your feelings. So now you're finished, you start to realize, hang on a minute. Now, the greatest thing someone could say about each and every one of us is I see Jesus. I see Jesus are different. I see Jesus, you're not chasing Why Why are you different?

No, what you got to be doing is following Jesus and becoming more like him. Then. What you submitting to Jesus, you submitted to Jesus. That is is because If you've got radical faith, and if you've got radical faith, you'll have radical obedience. And then you'll start to see things happen, because you're following Jesus Christ. Because then what, why? Because God can then use you for his purpose, his purpose, and

Reverend Ben Cooper:become a target. So it's twofold. Yeah, it's twofold. So you've got Keep your eyes focused. Because the more you press into Christ, the more you become a target. And the more you can, you will be seen to be standing alone and not in the crowd, you will be elevated out of the crowd, not for you to get your name in lights, but the enemy will say,

Simon Pinchbeck:But what what is the most used? What is the most used phrase by God in the Bible? It's not, it's not how many books have you sold? It's not how many ministries have you started? It's, do not be afraid.

Reverend Ben Cooper:be Do not worry. Be strong and courageous. Be strong and courageous. Be very strong and courageous. And if you
Simon Pinchbeck:following Christ, if you get into the word, you'll notice stuff. Yeah. And yeah, you'll have times when you will be challenged, you will be challenged
Reverend Ben Cooper:at levels that you never think that you this, you'll be looking at Jericho, you'll be looking at Goliath, you, you'll know that God has promised you the promises in His Word. But even though that you've been given the promises, also, you've got to be steadfast and you've got to be obedient. Because the giants of life, the giants of the phillium, the giants of satanic realms, they're at it, because you've been lifted up. Yeah. Not Not for for Your glory, but for God's glory, God's glory. And when you get lifted up for God's glory, you become a target. The enemy says, they are believers.
