Reverend Ben Cooper:

Hello and welcome to Elim church Swanley, you're joining myself, Reverend Ben Cooper for today's podcast. Yeah, we thank you for everyone that's joining us online this morning. We just can see people hopping online. We thank you and good morning. Yes, as you're coming on live stream, sorry, we're late this morning. Where there's only three of us today, we've lost we've got one missing in action. He's on holiday he's been allowed to go on holiday guys. He's been allowed to be out. He's out. He's on holiday. But Good morning, wherever you are across the world. We thank you so much for joining us. This podcast is live stream, online church services, we just gather around the mics, we got communion in about 40 minutes or so. We got some scripture and we got some prayer. We just gonna rest them we're going to be still that was very important. This morning, we heard that word come to us very clear, be still. So as things are opening up, we've got to be still and that's not talking about being fearful about going out but to be still and to seek God and to continually press into His presence. Good morning to everybody joining online. Thank you for those that are joining us online service through all the social media platforms that we're on this morning. Also, everyone that listens to the podcast that we do here at elim church, you're joining Andy, and you've got blend and you've got myself as we just gather the three of us today. And we just pray that Don will be kept safe as as he is at sea today. Wherever we were him wherever he may be across the ocean. He's probably watching somewhere in some little cabin squeezed up with his breakfast. Good morning, Don, wherever you are across the sea of the world. And good morning world to wherever you are as well. We welcome you and we thank you so much for all these 1000s of downloads. We're getting through these podcasts and people watching on the online streaming service which just aren't going to bring us into Romans chapter eight. Romans chapter eight, Romans chapter eight, verse 35. Here people are coming on. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. And we must press the podcast this morning. Thank you so much for everybody that's downloading all this stuff that goes on. And we just praise the wonderful name of Jesus to all those on buzzsprout, Spotify, Apple play, I Heart Radio, all those different platforms that we use, thank you so much for downloading all this stuff. And everything that goes on through this podcasting platform that we use and we're in Romans we're in the book of Romans and this literally just flick this over Romans chapter eight, scripture just came open. Romans chapter eight, verse 35, who shall separate from the love of Christ shall travel hardship, persecution, famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written for your sake we face death all day long, we are considered a sheep to be slaughtered. Verse 37, come on church. Come on brothers and sisters. Let's get into verse 37 of Romans chapter eight. No in all things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us, for I am convinced, neither death nor life, nor angels nor demons, neither the present or the future, not any powers, neither height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God. That is in Christ Jesus, whoever you are, this morning, whatever you are going through this morning, nothing can separate. Nothing. We've just had this this beautiful reading from Romans chapter, eight from verse 35, to the end of 39, nothing, nothing can separate from the love of God. If you feel that you are separated this morning from God, that's not true. The devil is a liar. You are a child of the living God. God is with you. Wherever you are today. God is strengthening you. God is upon you. God is within you. God is around you without going into the theological prayer press. You know, verse 25, of Romans, chapter eight, who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Nothing. Come on. Let's pray. Let's pray that that we just that we bring our family and our friends before the Lord this morning, anyone that feels down in their faith boots this morning, anyone that feels really down anyone that's got any children that are really struggling with life and got anxious thoughts, all that sort of stuff that's going on and just if you're a lone parent, a single parent, may god strengthen you, if you're in a good strong family area, God strengthen you too. So whatever the situations in the circumstances that we're all in, I really believe this morning that we really need to hear this scripture again, who shall separate from the love of Christ shall travel or hardship, persecution, famine, or nakedness or danger or sword as it is written for your sake? We face death all day long. We are considered a sheep to be slaughtered. No, in all things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. Father, we come before you this morning. And my sisters and my brothers through the world of podcasting through the online church service this morning, my brothers around me, Lord, nothing can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus. Lord, we are more than conquerors. Through Him who loved his father we are we are more than able, not because of ourselves but because greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. And this morning Lord, Father, we lean into Jesus. And Lord, we thank You, Lord, that nothing, nothing Lord in all creation, no devil in hell nothing Lord. Nothing can separate us from the love that powerful love that Agha pay love, that love that goes so deep, that love that is so strong. That is so sure nothing can separate you. Do you realize this morning that you are a child of the living God? Do you realize that Christ died on the cross a Calvary for me and for you? Do you realize that our sins are now gone, our transgression, he was broken, he took our iniquities, he took everything Nothing can separate. And fear cannot get in between. Fear gets in between our head and our heart. But it cannot. It cannot separate you are a child of the living God. God loves you. God loves you beyond your human understanding where you feel so down, and you feel so lonely. Maybe you're waiting for some results to come through from a consultant, maybe you're waiting for a house move might wait, maybe you're waiting for a job issue to be strengthened. And for some good news to turn up. Maybe you're just in this dark valley, but nothing can separate you. Maybe you feel really blessed this morning. May God bless you even more. Maybe you feel really joyous this morning, may God give you more joy, in the name of Jesus, but I just want to speak to anyone that feels broken this morning. That's a great place to be is to be broken. Because it's when we start to get fixed and Christ fix us when we and that's when I mean broken. You know what God breaks us? And what do you mean? How can you say such a thing like that? God, he's a vinedresser. He's a garden. And sometimes our brokenness feels like a very strange, because God is stripping stuff away. God is removing people from our lives that that we haven't had the strength to remove ourselves from. Maybe there's people on the other side of this lens on the other side of this podcast that are still hanging around in circles, that they shouldn't be hanging around and looking at things that they shouldn't be looking at dealing with things that they still shouldn't be dealing with. And and I really believe when when we do not pay full attention to God and when he comes in like a flood and it's so easy to blame Lucifer, on being attacked by the devil. But is it really the devil or is Christ stripping back stuff from us that we are holding on to lift your hands to Jesus this morning, lift your hands, lift your heart, lift your heart, you know, the church is so good at lifting its hands and making a performance but to lift your heart to Christ this morning. Let me tell you again, what the scripture says nothing can separate you. Nothing that fear that is so strong upon you in this morning. It cannot separate you that doubt that is so strong that is on you this morning, it cannot separate you. That worry that anxious moment, that thought about your children that thought about your wife or your husband that's, that's not well, those those people around you that are really agitating you, they cannot separate you. You are chosen, you are blessed you are a child of the living God, you belong to the King of kings and the Lord of lords. And may the power of God just strengthen you and bless you. May the hand of the Lord be so strong upon your shoulder. You may feel like john this morning on the island of Patmos that that felt as though he was dead and he was in the presence of one like the Son of Man that glory. Lord, I want to I want to just seek you like never before maybe you just feel very oppressed and very heavy and weighed down with everything that's going on. Maybe there's an attitude upon any of us this morning. I can't be bothered. What's the point everything seems meaningless. Welcome to the book of ecclesiastics everything is meaningless. There is nothing new under the sun. Let's just give them a price this morning. Wherever you are driving a year down the line from this podcast. Now in line with us wherever you are in your workspace. Just want to say thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus that nothing no matter how my skin feels, no matter how my attitude is in the flesh, no matter how I feel. No matter what my humanity is telling me. My me is telling me I Nothing can separate me. Nothing can separate us from the love, that love that Calvary love that. That love of john 316 Nothing can separate. God loves you beyond your family. God loves you beyond anything that you can imagine. God loves you so much that he sent his one and only Son they got on Santa darp on a cross. So whoever believes I'm going to put myself into that position today. of just believing I don't quite understand everything. I don't quite get everything. Churches made me flip me lid quite a few times maybe going a little bit bonkers. Trying to follow religion, when actually come on i need to be known as a Jesus follower. Following the King of kings and the Lord of lords religion will, will mess your brain up religion is like a washing machine everything going on but Jesus said just come on Follow me. Were disciples, your sons and daughters of the living God the Father this morning. As we enter into this place as Andy just leads us in a prayer in a few moments, Father, we pray that the scripture the scripture will be so strong it will be like that Prophet, Jeremiah, Jeremiah, I believe when he said, Your word is burning on my bones. Father, let your word burn on our bones today, Father, take every religious bone out my body, strip everything back of self of worry of, of doubt that it's all about me strip me back. Lord, You are the vine dresser and a gardener. Come Holy Spirit. Come into our homes, our lives like never before. Yes, we thank you that we walk with you that you are with us. But we want more. Maybe that's how I should present that to you this morning, Jesus, because you've already are here you are already with us. But I want more of you, Jesus, I want more of your word and want more of your presence. I want more of you. I actually need you like never before, Lord, I need you like never before. Because this world is balmy its throwing me into a cycle. I can't see the separation between state and religion. And I need to know that I'm in the kingdom of God, the kingdom of God. were in the Kings domain, we belong to the king, the Great I Am. You are a child of the living gun. And he will you carry on and just lead us and take us deeper. My friend, my good brother in Christ.

Andy Hammond:

Thank you. Thank you. It's just such a pleasure to be here this morning. And it's interesting that Ben, you started off with romans eight. And it just reminded me of something i think i think it was Nicky Gumbel who said that, if Romans is the Himalayas, then chapter eight is the Mount Everest. And, and the reason I think why I said that is that, I think more than any chapter in the Bible, the Holy Spirit is mentioned more times,

Reverend Ben Cooper:

amen

Andy Hammond:

in chapter eight. And, in fact, in my Bible, I've got listed in the column in pencil, the number of times the Holy Spirit is mentioned, come on line, it's 22 times.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Amen. Thank you. Jesus

Andy Hammond:

spirit is mentioned in chapter eight. So I'm just gonna pray then the Spirit come,

Reverend Ben Cooper:

that's what we want.

Andy Hammond:

Yeah, father we that we thank you. We thank you, for your son, Jesus. And for all that he accomplished in three short years of ministry on this earth. And when he returned to you, he promised His Holy Spirit to come and be helpless. Thank you.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Thank you, Holy Spirit,

Andy Hammond:

to strengthen our lives, to encourage our faith in you. So we ask your Holy Spirit, come and refresh us again. We want more of you. In fact, we can't do anything without you. We can't carry on this walk without Holy Spirit.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Amen.

Andy Hammond:

So Holy Spirit, come and fill our lives again. Refresh us. fill our bodies with your power.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah.

Andy Hammond:

Give us your insight as to what you're doing. Encouraging each one of us listening today

Reverend Ben Cooper:

thank you Jesus

Andy Hammond:

and who will listen later. encourage us. make us strong. Give us your, your strength. And some in some ways. There are some people in our watching who need this strength because they don't know whether they can carry on. And if that's you, be assured that God loves you.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Amen. Come on.

Andy Hammond:

Jesus died for you. And Holy Spirit is here. To strengthen you. To encourage you to carry on,

Reverend Ben Cooper:

come on, we're pressing in. We're not given up load.

Andy Hammond:

Yeah. So Father, we just thank you. And we thank you for your word that we can always turn to and this morning, I've I just encourage people to pick up their Bibles and turn to Romans chapter eight just read through that chapter. It's an amazing, amazing chapter in the book of Romans. And it will give you encouragement. We thank You, Father that you are, who you are. And verse 31, always stands out for me. If God is for us who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all? How will he not also along with him, Grace graciously give us all things. So we thank you. If you're for us, who can be against us pour out your spirit. Yeah, we want more of you farther today. And for those who can see daylight at the end of the tunnel, it's coming.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Amen.

Andy Hammond:

It's coming. So, Father, we asked you to pour out your light. We thank you for the son. And that spelt SON.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah, thank you, Jesus. Thank you.

Andy Hammond:

We thank you that you placed all the planets into your creation. And I know we couldn't live without the sun, spelled su n. Because that brings light,

Reverend Ben Cooper:

yeah,

Andy Hammond:

and it makes things turn really in all creation. So we thank you for both. And we ask you, for those who are at their wit's end at the moment. Not sure how to put food on the table are spent at the end of their tether. Father, we know that they can turn to you.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yes, father. Yes.

Andy Hammond:

So we ask you to pour out your love. Pour out your love. Pour out your encouragement and be father, a strong arm to lean on today. I just want to say that if you're in that place, you can turn to Father God. And he will come ask him to come ask him to come into your life today. I know that I did the same many years ago. And I can confidently say that he's never let me down. Thank you,

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Jesus. Thank you.

Andy Hammond:

So more of you today. Follow them. We we come into this room every week now. And it's well, it's the highlight of my week to come here. And just to be with you and not knowing what's going to happen.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah.

Andy Hammond:

What thoughts come into our minds, but you father you place them, you place the scriptures, you place the thoughts. And you give us the words to say farewell just thank you. We love you, and we adore you. We give you all the praise and the glory, for being in our lives, for turning us around. And we thank you that we can follow you. And when we came to know you, our lives were completely turned around. We were going in one direction. And you turned us around and we went turned 180 degrees and went the other way. Because that's what you were doing with us. And we can all say that. We can all say that, those of us who love you. And we know that love is reciprocated even more. So we thank you. And Father we just lift to those who are suffering today. And I know folk who need a word of encouragement. We know, thank you need more than that they need miracles in our lives. But we know father that you are a God of miracles.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Amen.

Andy Hammond:

And I just left to you, one of my friends who's suffering from cancer today.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah, Father bless them

Andy Hammond:

Had treatments

Reverend Ben Cooper:

please. Thank you, Jesus.

Andy Hammond:

treatment in the last 24 hours, we ask you, Father, God, come

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah, father

Andy Hammond:

and be with him now. And we know that you are a God of miracles. And that's what we want to do. So we just declare, over the airwaves today,

Reverend Ben Cooper:

yeah, miracles

Andy Hammond:

God. Bring your healing. Bring your healing, and we declare, be healed in the powerful name of Jesus. Be healed in the powerful name of Jesus. And if you need a miracle to say amen to that, say amen. So be it we say so be it

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Thank you, Holy Spirit.

Andy Hammond:

Amen. Amen.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Thank you. Thank you jesus

Glenn Walsh:

these privileges. What would Jesus this side of eternity?

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah.

Glenn Walsh:

Staying in Romans as well, I think. I'll start with Romans nine and then go back to Romans eight a bit. But Romans 916, and this is from the ESV. So it then depends not on human will or exertion, on God, who has mercy. It says in the an IV, it does not, therefore depend on man's effort or desire, but on God's mercy. So you might be listening today thinking I've tried, I've failed. I've tried, I've failed. I've tried again, and I've failed again. Well, Romans eight heavy starts is wonderful, isn't it? There is therefore now no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus. And there's a reason as well, as Andy said, and then as well, same with the Holy Spirit, there's a reason there is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus for the law of the Spirit. You can even put because they're, because the law of the Spirit of life has set you free. In Jesus Christ from the law of sin and death. It's, it's all about walking with the Holy Spirit. You can't take God, God, the Holy Spirit of God, he's got the Father, God, the Son, God, the Holy Spirit. Were a love gift from the Father to the Son, because Jesus said, no one can come to me unless the Father draws him. Jesus said, no one can go to the Father except through me.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Amen.

Glenn Walsh:

work of the Holy Spirit in our lives, he's God. And Romans 814 says, For all who are led by the Spirit of God, are the sons of God. It's a new start today for many of you, and a new start for many of us. And it's not to be religious. It's not to do it by our effort, or what we want to do. It's just to walk with the Holy Spirit. So lord i do pray for a soul, Holy Spirit, I pray that we would know your voice. Jesus, you said, My sheep know My voice, they cannot listen to another. And you said, you'd send to the Council of the Spirit of truth that will remind us of everything you said,

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Amen.

Glenn Walsh:

We so need your Holy Spirit to reveal you. To us, Lord, you take the deep things of the Father, and make them known to us you take the deep things of us and make them known, which I'm going to turn to Ephesians one. Because this is God's heart over us. This is God's sovereignty over us. We think it's all about mF our desire, not at all. Bless seed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ, with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places, even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world that blows my mind. We were chosen in him before the creation of the world. We should be holy and blameless before him, blameless in love. He predestined us, for adoptions as his sons through Jesus Christ according to the purpose of his well, another translation actually says, according to His pleasure, to praise him his glorious grace in which he's blessed us in the beloved. In Him we have redemption through his blood, not through striving, not through effort. In Him, we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the rich Grace, Lord, we thank you for the riches of your grace on our lives here. She is lavished on us. Amen all wisdom and insight He knows everything, making known to us the mystery of his will, according to His purpose, set forth in Christ. There's a plan for the fullness of time tonight, all things in him, yes, in heaven, and things on earth Come on file in Him, we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of Him, who works all things according to the Council of his will. So that we were the first in the hope of Christ might be the praise of his glory in him. You also heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, yes, father with the promised Holy Spirit, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire the possession of it, which is our salvation, to the praise of his glory. Jesus, we do thank you for this accomplished work. You've died for our transgressions and sins. You were crushed for our iniquities and weakness of mind and stature. For we sinned and fell short of your glory, noble ruins, sinful from birth. And you've dealt with it all. publicly, publicly.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yes.

Glenn Walsh:

thank you for all that you've done. Jesus, You rose from the dead, you've conquered even death itself,

Reverend Ben Cooper:

amen

Glenn Walsh:

There's nothing that is not under your feet. And Lord, you've sent your own Spirit to dwell in us. No longer do we have to go through the curtain no longer do we have to sacrifice animals no longer do we have to fear when we come into your presence, lest we be strapped dead. For love it

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Come on lord because of the land because of you because of your bloodshed for us. Not only do we enter that most holy of holy places, ut the most holy one dwells in s. Lord, what a privilege. What privilege to be your people in hese days. When the world is pside down, where the world oesn't know, it's left from its ight. In the world, it doesn't ven know the identity they were orn into. We know who we are he children of God. And by your

Glenn Walsh:

We want to be led by your Holy Spirit. We want to oly Spirit, we cry Abba, ather. Thank you, Lord, that ou would set aside people like s that you would choose us mong, before you even created he world, not because of nything we've done, not because f anything that we'll do. But ou chose to set your face of ove upon us. Thank you, Jesus. nd I pray that everyone istening today and are sitting ere that we'd know more of your race, more of of your love. ore of you, we don't want to now about you. We don't want to e those who just know the good hings of the gospel but don't now you. We want to know you. be on adventurous, just like Abraham when you said to him, go to a place that will show you that's the walk of faith.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

We go by faith

Glenn Walsh:

Where am I going? Wherever I lead you says the Good Shepherd. But what about my circumstances we say they're relevant says the Good Shepherd. We could even walk on water if we're walking with Him. We go wherever He calls us, for those who are led by the Spirit of the children of God. So Lord, I pray today we're hear your voice and we'll do what you tell us to do. However strange it may say, Take us that destination that's you for you said to Abraham, I am your shield. And you're very great reward without we inherited the land more than that his inheritance was you remove our inheritance today, Lord, we're not after the limousines when after the mansions when after the swimming pools with after you. Lords you are part of great price. And lower no promises. You're with us always, always. Never will you leave us never will you forsake us and as Ben started today, nothing can snatch us out of your hand. Thank you, Jesus, for their security and salvation and lack of condemnation for those who follow you.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Man Thank you Lord Hallelujah Jesus lord were children, the living God. fair is fair is gone at the name of Jesus, even though walk through the valley of the shadow of death. I will fear no evil. For the hour with me, Lord, we thank you for strengthening in our darkest hour. We thank you Lord for a guide Lord in our dark Just our Your word is a lamp unto our feet a light for our path. We thank You, Lord, that your word is a lamp unto our feet a light for our path. Father, we thank you for Psalm 119. Lord, Your word is making away your word father is a lamp in the dark area. Lord is lighting our pathway up this morning. And Lord, we just come before you we humble ourselves and we, we just put ourselves into the hands of Christ, we just rest in your presence, we say come, Holy Spirit, lead us. Lead us Lord, Father, we I pray for anyone that feels that they've hit a Jericho this morning. Anyone that feels that they've just hit this just big boss wall that is in front of them, Lord, this this wall of doubt, this wall of unbelief, this wall of fear, this wall of pain, this wall of anger and bitterness, this wall of a want to give up Father, we come against that this morning, in the mighty name of Jesus and Father, we thank you that there is power, in the name of Jesus and this morning we pray for a stirring. We pray for a great move Dear God, a great move, Father that we will hear the father crying out Nauvoo father as the earth is buckling. under the pressure of the white Lord of the last days father we do hear the earth grown in law in pain follows but Lord, we just need your guidance. We need your father to still keep revealing yourself to his Lord. We're sorry if we built on sand. We're sorry Lord, if we've built on unbelief it sorry, Lord, if we've built on the straw sorry, Lord, if we built on wooden and may Dear God, our our homes, Father God, and we've built our foundation Dear God on staff that can be washed away. Lord, we are building on the rock today. This is a new beginning for us. This is a new beginning. So Father, I thank you that we are not building on sand anymore that we are building on the Word of God. We are building on our rock we are building on Christ, we are building on the King of kings, and the Lord of Lord, Father, we stand Lord, we stand in faith this morning, Father, we be still and know that you are God. in all areas of life this morning, we just pray Father, that you will stir us Lord, I pray for all those that are in a dark moment. I pray for those that fail or that they've hit this wall, this wall of unbelief, this enormous wall that they just can't push around it, they can't get to the left of it. They can't get to the right of it. And they've just dropped their head in disbelief in unbelief, that they're frightened for the phone to ring they're frightened of the results. They're frightened of what may be but Lord, I thank you, Lord, that they are still children of the living God. And just as that father said to Christ, as just as that father said, in the new testament to the Lord Jesus Christ, he said, I do believe but help my unbelief. I know that you can heal my child of this unclean unpure spirit, but help my unbelief. So this morning, Lord, I pray for all those that have hit the Jericho of unbelief, all those that have hit the wall of disbelief, all those that have hit the wall of of angers and frustrations and they've just looking at this vast wall. I thank you, Father that every Jericho will fall when we become obedient. So Lord, I pray for obedience. Now, Lord, I pray, Dear God, that we would just focus on the King of glory, Lord, that we take our eyes off of this Jericho and we look up to the heavens, Lord, as the psalmist says, Where does my help come from? It comes from the hills I look up. Hebrews chapter 12. I keep my eyes I keep my eyes on Christ, the author and the perfecter of my faith. Lord, I pray Lord, that You will change our focus I pray that you will change our vision. Lord, I pray for for those that feel weak and feel tired all they can say is a Jericho and beyond their god the Jericho is victory so Lord we look beyond the we look through the wall of doubt we look through the wall of fear we look through by faith we look through this morning Lord And Father we see victory in the name of Jesus we see, Lord we look through this this this vast wall Lord, this stony wall is becoming like glass we look through this Lord we see through this because law we're not going by sight we're going by faith. And we thank you this morning, Lord that Jericho are falling now at the name of Jesus fear is falling at the name of Jesus Lord, doubt is going at the name of Jesus anxious thoughts are leaving us now. at the name of Jesus, anger, bitterness worry, the pride of life is going at the name of Jesus. Father, I pray that you will sweep through us today that you will strip us back to the bare bone that you'll strip us right back and Lord, we will not go by sight and will father we hold on to the Word of God. Because who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Who is going to do that? No devil in hell cannot do that. No government no no issue. Nothing can separate us nothing. We are joined we are covered. There's been a ransom there's been a ransom for your for your life. There's been a price that has been paid for your life and His name is Jesus. He is the King of kings and the Lord of lords. God sent His one and only Son to die upon the cross. He sent His Son to die for you there is freedom as you look at that Jericho this morning. Look through that this morning, as you're waiting for the consultant's results, look through that this morning as you're waiting for that issue at work, look through that in the name of Jesus in that issue of religion in that issue of doubt, look through that now, at the name of Jesus do not allow that that material obstacle that is very real in front of you. And it is in your vision and in your eyesight, eyesight. I asked that God will remove that now. In the name of Jesus and you will see clearly you see, you will see by faith you will see by faith that just The just shall live law we go Lord, we see through that by faith we see through that now at the name of Jesus. Lord, we realize that the devil is building many Jericho is in our lives. The devil is a great builder, the devil tries to put hurdles and he tries to put this stuff in front of you on life on my life, the devil tries to bring a bad report. There are too many people in your life, trying to bring a bad report you need to Joshua and Caleb to go hang on a minute. God is able, our God is able we're not worried about the size of the jebusites. We're not worried about the size of the giants that are in the promised land. We're not worried about that, because that's our territory. And I'm taking my territory back in the name of Jesus. And I'm on my way I'm victorious in the name of Jesus. I am a child of the living God. I am a child of the living God, I belong to the King of kings. Nothing can separate me from the love of Christ that is in my God, nothing. Nothing can separate me. I'm a child of the living God I'm a warrior. I'm blessed and highly favored. He chose me he set me free. He died on the cross for me blood was shed for me aren't my sins are washed. And they're gone that they were raised. He took my iniquities he took my pain. He took everything upon him. I am free this morning. And I'm not be in the drama of the the typical pastor or that is a Pentecostal pastor that is fact. You know, we we are children of the living God, you are blessed you are a child of the living God. Even in your darkest moment you are blessed even though when you all you hear is his walls going up. Start praying against them walls in the name of Jesus, that wall is falling now by faith I believe, Lord by faith, I believe Lord, I cannot understand it below book by faith, I believe this morning. And as the book of Romans says very, very clearly as we've been speaking about this morning, Faith comes by hearing. Faith comes by hearing the Word of God. Father, let us hear your word. Father, Lord, we're opening the word up this morning. And the word says that nothing can separate us. We're opening the word up this morning, Lord and the Bible tells me We are blessed and highly favored. We're opening the word up this morning, father and we're not going to be like Gideon, Lord. I'm the least now Lord, Father God you chose me. So Lord, I'm a son. I'm a daughter of the living, living Christ, I belong to Jehovah gyra, Jehovah nissi, Jehovah Shalom, he is my god, he is my king. He is the great I am that Jericho is going that devil is a lie. I'm not giving him a foothold. In my thought pattern. I'm not giving him an area where he can get in and he can infiltrate where he can ransack my mind. He can, he can try as much as he wants. But I'm not given a devil a foothold. I am a child of the living God and I stand on the Word of God, no matter what humanity says to me, no matter what the family says, no matter what the system says, I stand on the rock, and I build on that word. And this morning, I'm victorious in the name of Jesus. I'm sorry, on wings. As of Eagles this morning, I'm above the storm this morning. I'm flying above the cloud line. I'm flying in clear air this morning. I'm above the storm. I'm above that natural plane. I'm above because he called me to that position. I'm not beneath. I'm above. I'm above that. I'm above that not because of AI but because of him. Not because of my strength but because of his strength. Not because I went to the cross because he went to the cross. Not because my blood was shed but because his blood was shed. So the Bible tells me I am more than a conqueror. I am more. I am more than a conqueror. I'm more you are more. You are so much more. You are so much more than a conqueror. You're a daughter of the living Christ. You belong to the God of Israel. You're a son of the Great I Am. Hold the sword of the Spirit. Our battle isn't against flesh and blood but against principalities in the heavenlies Come on church. Come on brothers and sisters. Let's get the Word of God. Let's get hold of that word. Let's get hold of that word and come on less pressing, less pressing, cancer has gone, sicknesses gone, fear has gone headaches are gone. backaches has gone. fear of not having any money is gone. No, we don't need money because Lord, You shall supply all my needs according to the riches in glory. Lord, you will put bread on my table, you will feed the children, Lord, you will pay the mortgage you will make your way you will put things in my pathway. And Lord, come Holy Spirit, my God shall supply all my needs. You protect my job, Lord, you give me feel to get to work today. Lord, you're you're going to help me to, to sort out this money issue, you're going to help me to sort out the areas of life where I'm sliding about in common Lord, keep me stable. Keep me stable this morning in the word, Lord. Don't give the devil a foothold. The devil is a liar. He's the father of lies. We're coming to the table very, very soon, we're coming to break in the bread and take another cup this morning. And as us three are sitting here, in this studio, as we just recorded this podcast as this live stream service. And as you're at home, and at work, and wherever you may be this morning, Never give up. Never give up. Never, ever give up. Never give up. Fear is not coming from Christ. Don't worry about what the world is doing. Don't worry about what the system is doing. Press in the word. It can only be the Word of God. Your son knew our daughter, the living God. We're coming to the table soon we come in we're at that place almost. But as my brothers are turning scriptures over i can i can feel that they're like resources. Wanting to get in that that word out. Come Holy Spirit.

Glenn Walsh:

It's a laugh when you started praying because you started quoting Psalm 23. And I'll just turn to it. So you beat me to that one. Ben But I suggest people at home read Psalm 23.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yes,

Glenn Walsh:

there's so much truth that David brings out of that. But as we are coming to Communion, obviously lead over to Psalm 25. And verse 14 says, the friendship of the Lord is for those who fear Him, and He makes known to them his covenant. Actually, the word friendship is also translated, or the secret counsel. When Jesus said, I no longer call you servants, but friends because friends know each other's business.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yes lord

Glenn Walsh:

as long as talking about that same word. The friendship of the Lord is for those who fear him.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Thank you, Jesus,

Glenn Walsh:

a friend. He doesn't call us servants. And he makes known to them. He's covenant and he will be lead in a sin that reminds him of covenant in a minute. But for those who Ben's been praying for those who do fear that you're looking at Jericho, actually worship brings Jericho down, doesn't it?

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah, I praise him

Glenn Walsh:

sometimes a sacrifice.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah, it does

Glenn Walsh:

does provide some ways to the Lord.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah, Lord.

Glenn Walsh:

So reading from verse 14.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Thank you, Jesus.

Glenn Walsh:

Psalm 25. The friendship of the Lord is for those who fear Him. And He makes none today in his covenant, my eyes are ever toward the Lord. For he will pluck my feet out of the neck. Turn to me, and be gracious.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Thank you.

Glenn Walsh:

I am lonely and afflicted. The troubles of my heart all enlarged. Bring me out of my distress. Consider my affliction and my trouble and forgive all my sin.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Come on,

Glenn Walsh:

consider how many of my phones and with that violent hatred, they hate me and guards my soul and deliver me. Let those not be put to shame. Sorry, let me not be put to shame for I take refuge in You. Wow, there's someone there is really, really well. It's David really, really facing the wall?

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah.

Glenn Walsh:

My integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait for you. redeem Israel. I got out of his troubles. Now, Micah seven, verse seven says, but as for me, I will look to the Lord. I will wait for the God of my salvation. My god will my god will hear me. It causes friends. He hears us. But sometimes we have to wait.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Come on. We wait

Glenn Walsh:

and only wait upon the Lord. We knew that strength. says that he knows

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yes.

Glenn Walsh:

Yeah, Father, I do. Thank you. I do. Thank you, Lord, that we are your friends. I do. Thank you, Lord, for that covenant that you've brought us into. It's not just relationship. It's covenant relationship. The new covenant that was paid for by your blood, amen. Your body. No wonder nothing can snatch us from your hands. Lord, I want to thank you for the security we have in you.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Praise the Lord.

Glenn Walsh:

Sometimes you have to go through the wilderness. David experienced that. Your People experienced 40 years in the wilderness. Jesus when you was baptized, the Holy Spirit led you to the wilderness.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yes, Father,

Glenn Walsh:

it's vital that we hope all of us go through wilderness experiences, the hard that Behrman that you're with us. So Lord, I pray that for those who need to wait that they would wait, and that their strength would be renewed and restored. For those who've just come out of waiting, Lord, that they would just walk with you and learn what it is to walk, not to run ahead, not to lag behind not to go to the left or to the right. But to walk with your spirit. Teach us your ways. Oh, Lord,

Reverend Ben Cooper:

thank you, Jesus

Glenn Walsh:

anda lead us in the paths everlasting.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Amen. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you. Hallelujah, you might want to get yourself ready. We're just gonna be led into communion, breaking the bread together this morning, as Andy will just bring us prayerfully. And through this, he knows his last 15 minutes of this service. God bless you, Andy. Thank you. Thank you, Holy Spirit.

Andy Hammond:

Yeah, Father, we just open our hearts and our minds to you this morning. We just want to thank you for your sacrifice.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yes, Lord. Thank you, Jesus. And

Andy Hammond:

we ask that today is that we beat him imitators of who you are. Get We are your sons and daughters. And I've turned to Philippians. Today Philippians chapter two. And my barguil Bible heads this chapter imitating Christ's humility. But starting from verse five, it says, Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus, who being in very nature, God did not consider equality with God, something to be grasped, but made himself nothing. Taking the very nature of a servant being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man he humbled himself and become obedient to death,

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Amen. Thank you jesus

Andy Hammond:

even death on a cross. Therefore, God exhorted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus, every knee should bow, in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. And Father, we, we know that this could have been a hymn for the early Christians to sing. And I know some of these verses are taken from Isaiah. And we just thank you for that this morning, now, hearts and our minds have been racing from one chapter of your work to another. And it's been really great this morning, that we could just rely on your word what it says,

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah, thank you, Jesus.

Andy Hammond:

And we know that your Word is true, that your word is strong, that your word brings comfort, and your word never fails. So we thank you that we can come before you. And remember, for each one of us what you have done, that we you've brought us to God, you've brought us back to God that we can be in relationship. And the price that you pay for that was your death. Your death has brought us life. We thank You for the cross.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah,

Andy Hammond:

thank You for the cross. And we remember that by taking the bread and wine this morning. So as we take this bread and all those at home now he can join in and remember that his body was broken for each one of us.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Thank you, Lord, thank you Jesus. cleansed

Glenn Walsh:

in the same way after that final supper he had with his disciples which he said to them, I have so longed to share this meal with you. At the end of the meal, we lifted the wine and he said, This wine is my blood, the blood of the new covenant which is given for you, Jesus, we thank You that You allowed, that you faced that you went through death, that we might have life.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Amen.

Glenn Walsh:

Your blood was shed, that we may be cleansed, that all our sins or transgressions are full fuller nature was placed upon you. And you conquered it all and most again. We drink this today in remembrance that we are in covenant relationship with you purchased by your blood.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Thank you, Jesus Father, we thank you for the ransom the price has been paid. Thank you, Jesus that our sins nailed to the cross of Calvary and gone finished. Historical stuff has gone at the name of Jesus when we repent we come to you and say Father, forgive me for I've sinned, and fallen short of your glory and Father I thank you for the power of the blood the Crimson Tide the washing of the blood of Jesus but Lord as we as we bring this to just a bit of a pause lord as we just bring us to a place Lord where we we don't finish but Lord your word continues because your word, Father always always moving your word is always moving. So father's us, Lord, the church on line. Lord us three gathered around the mics, just paused for a few hours, Lord, your work still continues. We thank You Father, that your word isn't restricted Lord, by humanity as the vehicle that your word is always moving, your word is always progressing. Your word is that seed that is growing, that your presence is always moving load of Father, we thank you that you don't need us. But Lord, You chose to use us. So Lord at this moment, Lord, as we sit as we be still as we rest, all the scriptures that have been read out all the references to the Word of God, we thank you that your word is sharper than a double edged sword. And your word is cutting through fear at this very moment your word is cutting through doubt. At this very moment. And law we might reference to what we started in this morning. The Book of Romans, Romans chapter eight, verse 35, who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall travel a hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness, or danger or sword as it is written? For your sake, we face death all day long, we are considered a sheep to be slaughtered. No, verse 37. No in all things we are more than conquerors to him who loved us. For I am convinced neither death nor life, nor angels nor demons, nor the present or the future, not any powers, neither height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able will be able to separate us from the love of God. That is in Christ Jesus, our Lord. You can't be separated. You're grafted in, you're in, saved, you're washed in the blood of Jesus, you are a child of the living God, the ransom has been paid a price that no human being could, apart from the man, Christ Jesus, the King of kings, the Lord of lords, the Great I Am, you are washed in the blood of Jesus. You do belong to Jesus Christ, His hands, His love is just around you at this moment, you are blessed beyond human measure. Your mind is trying to work things out, you're trying to put the puzzle you're trying to fix everything. And over, present it to him, hand it over to the king, hand it over this morning, whatever you are carrying, hand it over, because it's going to wear you down. It's going to wear you down and it's going to wear you out Hand it over this morning, handed over to the King of kings and the Lord of lords Father, we thank you for this time. And in these moments of just stillness of just resting in your presence of Father, we thank you that there is power in the name of Jesus. And all things are possible to those who believe. So Lord we believe we believe we believe bless Glenn this morning. Bless Andy this morning. Bless our brother Don Lord is not with us. Lord, strengthen him and his family be with all the online church this morning Lord, let the joy of the Lord be their strength. Let your word father come in like a flood today. Lord, can I can I use it like this Lord, can you can you invade our lives Lord? Can you Lord, just come Just press yourself upon us, Jesus. Father, we just want to feel the breath of God we want to, we want to feel the breeze of the Holy Spirit, we want to feel the breath, the breath, the breeze, the breeze of the Holy Ghost, the the glory of the Lord, we want just want to feel your holiness. Lord, we want to be taken into the depths, Lord, that to the brink of a place of non return. Take us to that place of holiness. Holy, Holy is the Lord most Worthy of all praise. Andy I'm gonna ask if you could just bring us to close and just mentioned about the Bible's Alright, and as we just bring this service to a pause not to finish because God's Word will continue. And God bless you all.

Andy Hammond:

Thank you, Father. Still in the book of Philippians, just the end of chapter three, we get this reminder, our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a savior From there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, my man will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Thank you, Jesus,

Andy Hammond:

we thank You, Father, we thank you for your word, that Well, I certainly believe Father God that this is your infallible word remains relevant to us today is true. And it's stood the test of time. And as Ben mentioned, if you want a copy of this word, then certainly text us or email us, or message us and give us your details. And we'll get a copy of the Bible to you. at no cost. We believe that scripture must go out into the world, amen, because this is the word of God. And in our experience, it's been certainly one of the most powerful ways that God speaks to us when we read this word. So Father, we just thank you, that you've been with us. We thank you for all these thoughts that you've dropped into our minds this morning.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah

Andy Hammond:

It's amazing how how you speak to us, and when we come together, to pray, to speak. And we just thank you for your blessings upon us. And we ask that you give a real powerful blessing to all those who are watching today, that they will feel your presence, they will notice a change in their thinking that they will notice a difference in how they are feeling in body, mind and spirit today.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Oh, man.

Andy Hammond:

And we ask you to give a rich blessing in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.

Reverend Ben Cooper:
