Hello and welcome to Elim church swnaley, you're joining myself, Reverend Ben Cooper for today's podcast. Yeah, thank you so much wherever, wherever you are this morning. And we just say good morning. Good morning to everyone that's online coming on to this live stream service. We thank you so much for joining us from around the world as you join us for this podcast A week later down the line. We are so blessed for the online church service that we have in midweek, we got Glenn, we got dawn, we got Andy and myself as we're just gathering around the table as we're just in prayer. And obviously there is a lot of things happening around the world. We've got the fires happening, we've got the the Afghanistan situation happening, we've got other things happening. There's lots of things happening. And I really believe that God is really showing us where we sit in the end times through everything that's happening across the globe. And I'll say, Lord, keep our eyes open, keep our eyes open, Help us, Lord to be watchful. But we welcome everybody that's jumping on line this morning. And I just fell in my spirit that maybe we should start or I should start off and just pray for all those that feel depressed this morning. Or those that feel weary, or those that feel quite lonely, feel anxious about life and the big stuff that's coming through the news channels, I can really put a bit of weight on, on anyone. So let's just be gathered for just these moments as we just bow in the presence of Almighty God. And thank you so much for joining us for this online church service, wherever you are today. And I've got a scripture, and we're coming out of the book of Matthew chapter four, Matthew chapter four, verse one, it says that Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. I really feel that there is a there's an unusual atmosphere across the world. There's a strong sense of sensation around the globe. When it says after fasting for 40 days and 40 nights, he was hungry, attempt to came and said to him, if you are the Son of God, I believe that the attempt to is saying to us if you are a child of the living God, where is your God, now? Your children are depressed, your life is broke? Where is your God? Now when you look at that scripture in Matthew chapter four, verses one through to around about verse five. And as you look at that scripture, it says very clear, and then Jesus was led by the Spirit, into the wilderness, are we being led into a place where we've been stripped back where we've been tested, where we're being taken to a place where we say very clearly Get behind Me, Satan? I'm not going to succumb to this temptation. I'm not going to allow myself to be seductive by the world Man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God am I standing on the Word of God? When you look at the Scripture, and it says, Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil, after fasting for 40 days and 40 nights he was hungry, the tempter came to him and said, if you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread. Jesus answered, It is written, Man shall not live on bread alone, but by every word that comes out of the mouth of God. It is the word of God, I believe, this morning, if you're depressed down on the Word of God, if you are just in trouble this morning, whatever it may be, to stand on the Word of God, we got to get into the Scripture. You know, we can't rely on religion and pastors and leaders and brothers and sisters to guide us in there, they will get us so far. And we thank God for the encouragers in our lives, we thank God for the leaders. But there comes a point now where I really believe that we got to understand that Christ the Holy Spirit is with us no matter what but we are, are being led we are being led the Holy Spirit is being led. Yes. Sorry, is leading us and, and are we being led into a wilderness? Are we being led to a place of loneliness, where we're saying, Father, this is strange. This is a strange place this wilderness. There's no one around me. I feel quite isolated. I feel quite alone. And maybe you got crowd around you, maybe you got family around you, but you just feel that you're in the wilderness. You're feeling your sense in in your spirit, that there is something different, and you're hearing this voice that is tempting you that is just trying to pull you away from God's word. But Christ said very clearly, it is written, yeah, it is written, it is written. Come on, Lord, Father, it is written this morning, Father, that my God shall supply all my needs according to his riches in glory. You know, there are many of us as well, across the globe that have young people in our lives, family members, sons, daughters, whoever they may be connected into our family unit or we just know people where we've got this band of youth. We got these young people that are just isolated in their bedrooms. They came in, they're just, they're on social media all day. They're, they're sleeping all day. They're they're awake all night and they won't leave the bedroom. They won't come out. Other house, you know we got it. We got to pray. I really believe that maybe through this prayer session that we pray for all the youth and the young people that we know that are just like this. When we say God, come, please, Father, we are sure this morning right now as we dive into the Word of God that Man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of godfather we stand on the word and we bring our youth before you. We bring the children before you. We bring the little people in our lives before your Father we pray right now, Lord, that your hand will be upon him Father, Lord, we go into that area of darkness we go Father, we bridge the gap where angels fear to tread. And this morning, Lord, we lift up any, any youth any child is going through depression, through worry through fear. Lord, we pray right now that you'll brighten that darkness in the name of Jesus, that Father, we lift up these young people before you this morning, and we stand on the Word of God, because Lord, we thank you that Man does not live by bread alone, Father, Lord, we, we rely on the Word of God and we bring these people before you these young people, this next generation, we bring them to your footstool this morning. Father, we present them to you and Father, we ask you that you will move in a spirit, you will move in our heart You will move in their bedroom, you will move in their study area, you will move in their mind you will move their gut in a very big law that there'll be break for at the name of Jesus and we bring this youth before you we bring the sons and the daughters of this generation before you. Father we ask you father that you dear God will break the gaming culture you will break the social media culture, Lord, that You will rise in the name of Jesus father, that you will speak to them, Lord, that You will set the captives free that are caught in their bedrooms just caught in this small box of their life father where they're there alone all day, Father go where they don't want to talk to their parents, they don't talk to their siblings at father they have isolated themselves, where fear has driven them to that place for Father, we break that door open today, Lord, we broke that bedroom door open to them we say come Holy Spirit. Father, Lord, we cover that door, we cover that door in the blood of Jesus, we cover that house, in the blood of the Lamb. And this morning we bring this these youths before you we bring these young children before you that are suffering with depression, anxiety worry, Lord, we thank you for those that got good grades. We thank you for that. No, but Lord, we pray for those that that didn't do too well, Lord, that they they've got anxious thoughts, Father, that they're not worthy that they didn't do do didn't do too good that know that they're struggling with their understanding. But Lord, you have them so low, we pray for those Lord that done well. We pray for those that didn't achieve as well as they thought they would. But Lord, they are children of the living God, Lord, and we thank you for education, but it's not everything. It is not everything. It is just a small cog in the system of life. And Lord, we pray that you will lift them up Lord right now, wherever they may be, but Lord, the adults that are around us now, the brothers, the sisters, in the house around this table, Father, we ask you, are you leading us into the wilderness? Because the scripture clearly says as you look at that it says then Jesus was led by the Spirit was but led by the Spirit into the wilderness. The Father, are you leading us as a nation. Father, are you leading us into that that wilderness experience? Father we can we can feel temptation or right father, if we're really honest, we can feel the temptation of the world we can sit with our eyes. So Father, open our eyes so that we can see Jesus because Lord, we believe that you are leading because you do lead and follow the law. As you lead us through the valley of the shadow of death, we will fear no evil could you are with me, your rod and your staff, it comforts us Father, in the name of Jesus, we declare the blood of Christ, we pray for the power of the Holy Spirit. And Lord, all those brothers and sisters in the new flood that are being led by the Holy Spirit into that place, Lord, cook for complete reliance on God. Lord, as you lead us into the wilderness as you lead us into new beginnings, Lord into new pastures, we thank You, Lord, that man does not survive completely, that does not rely just on natural bread alone, but Lord, but by every word, every word that comes out of the Word of God. And this morning, we stand on the Word of God, we rest on the Word of God. We thank you for the word, the word is our source, the word is out power. The word is yes and Amen. And no, we claim that word over our youth. We claim that word over the children. We claim your word over our homes, we claim that word over our friends over our families. We claim that word this morning the Father we pray for all the youth that are going through depression father, as you lead us, individually as you lead us at the body of Christ as you lead us father, as young and old as you lead us Father, we thank you that there is a lead in and what we got to remember is that Christ was led and we are being led and our youth are being led. So Father, I pray as you lead us into these areas. Father, give us the strength to stand. Give us the strength father got to resist, Lord, give us the strength as Christ said to the three in the garden of gift 70 watch and pray that you Do not fall into temptation. Father I pray Lord as you lead us, father as you guide us, as you make away Lord where there seems to be no way father as, as you are guiding those into that that wilderness experience, Lord, come Holy Spirit I pray for strength in the wilderness. I pray for strength father in the lonely place, a pray for strength, father in the dark hours, I pray for strength, Lord, when when the world just can't seem to get us to go any further. Lord, I pray that you will remove the anxious thoughts from anyone this morning. I pray Father God, that that you will remove the demonic out press in the name of Jesus father, your draws closer to you. But as we rest in a word, Father, I asked for all those that need fuel in the tanks this morning. I asked your father for all those that dear god that need a supercharged from the Holy Ghost this morning. I pray for all those that Father that need to lift up in the name of Jesus, I pray for all those that are hungry father that not are really experienced in law and hunger for the first time, spiritual hunger that are really hungry for Christ. interest in what the scripture says, and Jesus was led into the, into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. And after fasting for 40 days and 40 nights he was hungry. Father, I thank you, Lord, that we're getting hungry. We're hungry, Father, for you with thirsty Lord, You are living water. You are the Great I Am You are the way you are the truth. You are the life Lord, we need you. URL life source. You feed us, you strengthen us, you guide us. Come Holy Spirit, Lord around this table. Lord, I pray that you will lead us into areas of righteousness Lord, around the mics today, Lord through the airwaves through our brothers and sisters on church this morning. Father, I pray, Lord, that You will move through all those that have got mental health issues, or those that are joining us online on the online streaming service. All those fathers are involved in this service father watching now, listening later, all those that listen back through the podcast, Father, bless them, in the name of Jesus father make away with there seems to be no way. Father, we ask you now that you will come into our hearts and our minds and father, there'll be an acceleration of the power of God the Father, we will not go in our own strength but Lord, as you lead us. I ask you, Father that you help us to identify, are you leading us into the wilderness? are you leading us into that place of stretching? are you leading us into a place father where we've got to be completely reliant on the Word of God? And we say to the tempter, it is written, it is written, it is written Father we thank you that the word of God Lord is on the tablet of our heart on this morning Glenn, and the Antonia myself or my brothers and sisters through the podcast for the online church service being streamed this morning. Father we say in our hearts our mind Lord, it is written the sword or my god in the name of Jesus, we are blood wash. We are children of the living God and we stand on the Word of God this morning. Father no matter how this skin fills this morning, no matter how my noggin is my head thought no matter how my brain is this morning Father, we stand on the Word of God and Father we will not be shaken Lord we thank you that the righteous run into the Lord for He is our our strong tower Lord we run into the King of Kings the Lord of lords. You are the Great I Am URL refuge urs strength. You are our Redeemer. We are the sons and daughters of the living God. And nothing can separate us from the love from that great love, that beautiful love. But this morning, all those father, all of us that are in need of suits that are tired. Make away today, Lord, make away today, Lord, come Holy Spirit. And he's going to take us to the next stage of the service this morning. And Glen and and Donnie are going to pray and unless really seek Him. Can I put that across the mics this morning? Let's really seek Him seek the word. You might be in the wilderness. But there's power in the wilderness. There's glory in the wilderness. There's victory in the wilderness. There's breakthrough in the wilderness. Thank you, Andy. God bless my brother.
Andy Hammond:Yeah, thank you, father. Yeah. Interesting thing that you read from Matthew four. And I've already got my Bible open at Psalm 91. And hallelujah. There. There is the same phrase that Jesus used in Psalm 91 verse 11, it says, For he will command his angels concerning and he did exactly that. And Psalm 91 is what they call a messianic Psalm. And yes, there is some the concluding verses talks about love. And Jesus loves us so much. Thank you, Jesus. And all he wants is that love to be reciprocated, for us to love him. And in verse 14 says, because he loves me says, Lord, and He says, All these I will, I will rescue him. I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. So we need to acknowledge the name of Jesus in our own lives, that Jesus is Lord. Rhea, thank you, God will call upon me and I will answer him. Amen, I will be with him in trouble. How about that? He's gonna be with us in trouble. I will deliver him and honor him with long life while I satisfy him. Praise God, I will show him my salvation. Amen. There's a special number there as well. There's seven, I will say.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Yeah, Sarah is
Andy Hammond:a biblical number. So, Father, we just thank you for your word. And we spoken about how your Word is true. And how when we read it, it just reveals who you are to us. You speak to us through your word. And we just want to thank you this morning. Yeah. With all that's going on in the world. Yes. It's it's very scary for some the Lord, it's lighter at comm threatening for others. We just only need to go back to yesterday watching the news. Yeah. of Afghanistan. And what's happening there? Father, we just pray for Christians in Afghanistan.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Yes, Lord.
Andy Hammond:We pray Father that you will protect them that you will be with them in trouble, that you will deliver them and honor them. Yeah. That you will protect them that when they call upon you, and that you will answer them. So Father, we just pray into that situation. Yes. law in some some ways. Father, we don't know what to pray. Because it's such an enormous situation. A whole country in turmoil, governments just abrogating and leaving. Presidents escaping copters Yeah, yeah. Taking phones with them. So Father, we just ask for your peace for your car. And your protection. And other parts of the world. Father on fire?
Reverend Ben Cooper:Yeah, yeah.
Andy Hammond:We, the whole climate situation is seems to be in turmoil. 40 plus degrees. World record temperatures in parts of the world. Greece, we've heard about Turkey, Canada, America.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Yes, Lord.
Andy Hammond:Father, we just asked you to intervene in this situation. Father, you are the author of creation. You made the world. So bring bring your peace, bring your car. We ask you, father to get protection for all those firefighters who are putting their lives on the line. Father, most of all, we want men, women and children that come to the point of salvation. If I have your confidence, I can rely upon you. They can speak to me and I can ask Jesus you Father God for protection.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Yes, Lord.
Andy Hammond:Father, we want to Bring before you this morning, those who just need that special touch, they are down in spirit. They don't know which way to turn. The money's run out. Yeah, there's no food in the in, in the cupboard or in the fridge. We actually father that up there provider. Jehovah gyra Thank you, God bless you, father to intervene. We ask the Father to bring alongside your people. And Father we ask for church to stand up to stand up and be heard Father, in the marketplace in government and we wait to hear responses from government so in these world situations that are happening, and Father we want you to be head we know we've got a prime minister. But father you are head we thank you for for our queen who's shown such an example over all the years of her reign that her Christian principles we thank You Father go farther and farther we bring to you this morning, those who just need that special touch of healing. Not knowing which way to turn. And we can all lift you.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Thank you.
Andy Hammond:Those who need healing.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Yes, lord.
Andy Hammond:Your work. Teachers are certain we are to pray your words, teachers are certain ask in your name. So that's what we do today. We ask in the powerful name of Jesus, for your healing touch.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Thank you.
Andy Hammond:Those who are listening this morning, just offer to Father God. Now those who you know, it may be yourself who needs to touch so do that this morning? Just in a couple of moments now. Come before Father God. And all spheres healing. Be specific. In your prayers. Be specific.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Yes, Lord.
Andy Hammond:And Father I just pray for our friend who yeah is in hospital at the moment.
Reverend Ben Cooper:God we're bringing before you,
Andy Hammond:we bring him Lord. Yeah, there's no denying it now that he needs a miracle. So we actually father. So for that miracle of healing, this we asked you father to extend his life. And we ask you, father to rid his body of cancer.
Donny Stockburn:Yes.
Andy Hammond:Yes, we aak that in the powerful name is jesus Lord. Amen. Amen.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Yeah. Healing Lord. Thank you, Jesus for healing. Miracles, we believe a miracle. Come on, I
Donny Stockburn:just want to read you this little part of a great sermon. Spurgeon, somebody sent me in the week, my son, in fact, while I was asking God, what, what, what was going to be happening this morning, and I want to read it to you, as it was written, and he says, You have been praying, but you fear that mercy that you asked for will never come. And he says, if he loved you, when you were a massive corruption, will he not answer your prayers now that he has made you and hair of Evelyn, beloved, Be of good comfort? Do not let depression or unbelief cross your mind. He loves you so much, that he has made a great sacrifice for you. I imagine he blesses you daily, and he will not be in heaven without you. What a prayer. Lord, we lifted up to you today. yesterday. A person who is young in their Christian life. I was speaking with a prime with them. asked me what does it mean to be blessed? I was lost for words, I couldn't find any way to explain it to her. So I said to her, I'll pray God's blessing on you. And so I did, and I'm gonna play it now. And Lord, when it was prayed, I felt something moving, actually move in my body more and come up. And I looked at her and that person and and she sort of lurch forward, as I read the words. And at the end of it, I said, you received it, then you you received God's blessing. And tearful said, Yes, I did. And, and it was a really emotional powerful moment. Hallelujah, God's blessing, which is just words, income paper, as we look at it, that is very real. And God meant it to be very real, and in many to bless our lives. So it's a short blessing that Moses read, but it was over whole nation of Israel. By that it means it was over all God's children, all God's people, and I want to pray it now this, this is my prayer this morning place where Moses prayed over all God's people. Bring it and it says, and the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, speak to Aaron, and his sons, that's the price sign. This is why this is a way you shall bless the children of Israel. Oh, come on, bless the children of God. Lord bless you, and keep you. The Lord make his face shine upon you, and be gracious to you. And lift you up, lifted, put his countenance upon you, and give you peace. Oh, Lord, don't we need that blessing in these days? Amen. Lord, God, I pray that blessing our pilot blessing out now over the airwaves, Father God, that the reality of that blessing that it will do, in all those are listening, they will save it, like that person did I was with last night for God that it will actually be an experience. Rather than reading words, Lord, I will have to imagine it. They will experience we will experience all God's people over the whole earth Lord, those who are in those suffering countries. Great persecutions are those who have just lost faith that their prayers will be answered. They fear that they won't be answered. They fear that they will have to face the fears alone. But Lord, Your word here says, I will bless you. And I am blessing you that blessing is real. It moves in our lives. It brings us joy and peace. It moves out stuff that shouldn't be there. And it brings in the love and peace. God's blessing our man and God meant it to be that way. And those words are specifically chosen for God's people. Or Lord, we just lift it up to you now, Lord, Lord, that that blessing will go out. Yes, on this little note, for people applying this this prayer, Lord, and pushing this blessing out exactly as Moses did. All God's people will be blessed. whoever they are, wherever they are, rich, poor, broken, sick, Ill, wherever they are, they will receive the blessing of God. Thank you live in church they will receive right now.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Come on,
Donny Stockburn:listen of the living God. Lord, that's our prayer. We lift it up to you now in the name of Jesus Lord, who said, come to me with all your problems, and all your worries and fears. Come as you are tight my yoke is light and easy to carry. You will find rest in me. That's a promise not you might find it. He said you will find rest him a man all big believe that word. And then again enables I think tables thought for your Word says, come up to the phone. We don't need someone to go and ask God for blessing now. We've been made only we've been made righteousness by the blood of Jesus. And we can go right into the phone. And we do it right now. Lord, we asked you, that's our prayer. We come before your phone now. and say Lord, bless your people. Bless them with that blessing that Moses prayed over all as well. All over all God's children over all those who are born again, over all those who are blood washed. Lord, all those Lord with Oh, every cry will be blessed. Having need met Father God, by the love of God and by the power of your word, Lord as will power On one side of all things, yes, in the earth, under the man in the heavens, the name of Jesus, there is none like, there's no name like Jehovah that song says, and it is that way, and there is no power, that we know that the Emperor's and the warlords, and those who who are against God, or are going to kneel before God, all of them, every single one of them alone, and you have given this word to us, given it to your church, Lord, it filled with the power of God, Lord is assault you disguised as a soul, which you've got two edges on it, it can divide the spiritual and the physical as power of about load our pray that your church will live in church will pick it up. Yes, David's those mighty men of David Lord, where the sword frozen her and Father God, and we pray that that will be the way it is in your living church, Father, God, when this blessing comes on, Father God, we will pick up that word, and we won't fear that our prayers won't be on. We know that they will be and we know that you will answer them, because you promised Lord, and that's your word. And we just thank you, Father, God in Jesus. Bless all those now, all those Father God, especially those who are heading that way where they fear that their prayers won't be answered, Lord, Lord, this word says they will be. And we just thank you for it, Lord, in Jesus name, amen.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Amen. Amen. Thank you.
Glenn Walsh:i read that prayer over couples wedding I officiated at on Saturday is a real powerful prayer, isn't it? But as everyone's been praying this morning, and looking at scripture, I've led to one Peter, and Peter wrote this, to the exiles to those who have been prosecuted in they were dispersed. So I'll start at the beginning and just skip through one Peter, one, Peter and apostle of Christ Jesus, to those who are elect exiles. Yeah, of the dispersion in punches, Galicia, Capita sia Asia and ruthenia, huge persecution. According to the foreknowledge of God the Father, God knows. The church has been persecuted, but according to the full knowledge of God the Father, in the sanctification of the spirit for obedience to Jesus, and for sprinkling with his blood, may grace and peace be multiplied to bless it. be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, according to his great mercy is called us to be born again to a living hump, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled and unfading. In Heaven, for you, it's no bad these terrible things is that Come on, our hope is not Yes, Lord about these temporal things is that we may lose, dropping down to verse 13. Therefore, preparing your minds for action. Yeah, and being sober minded. Set your hope fully, and the grace will be brought to you at the revelation. Thank you,
Reverend Ben Cooper:Jesus, Jesus
Glenn Walsh:Christ when He comes again. That's what it's all about our Lord. It's not about holding on to our perishable things.
Reverend Ben Cooper:No,
Glenn Walsh:it's about weight coding to something that's imperishable, both for us through Jesus, dropping over to verse 18, knowing that you will rent or
Reverend Ben Cooper:ransoms
Glenn Walsh:pay for the future always inherited from your forefathers, not with perishable things, such as silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ, like a ladder that bled easily or spots he was for known before the foundation of the work of the World Cup was made manifest at the last times for the sake of you, Yes, Lord, who threw him and believes in God who raised him from the dead, and gave him glory so that your faith and hope in God Yes, Father, swear our faith and hope is living down to verse 24. So all flesh is faithful find these glowing like, flowers swinging laughs the grass withers, the flower falls, but the word of the Lord remains. And this is the word. This is the good news. Yeah. Thank you, Your father on a thank you that we are kept in heaven with you.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Yeah, we are
Glenn Walsh:Lord. And this was written to those being persecuted, suffered great loss, very similar to what's happening to those Christians in Afghanistan today. A lot of this side of eternity is awful, what happens to your people, but the other side it's glorious. Lord, on the revelation when Jesus Christ is revealed to all that grace that we have in you will be revealed as well. Thank you, Lord, that I hope is in Yeah, it's not in our performance. It's not about how steadfast we are, but it's about how good you are the shepherd of your sheep, the grace that is sufficient for us. Thank you, Lord, that we kept in heaven with you. Thank you, Jesus that I've been purchased. We've been purchased your blood. I was dating my sins and transgressions, loyalty by citing your word say Thank You,
Reverend Ben Cooper:Jesus,
Glenn Walsh:your love, but because of you, because of case that see it's the word. Thank you, Lord, You are treasure you are making rewards. You are my shield, and I hope and nothing can change that we cannot be touched. They can touch my body. They can touch my possessions. They can take it all away, but they can't touch who I am in you. And that is true for all of us. Amen. We are so secure in Georgia. He's done it. You are the Spotless land.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Mm hmm.
Glenn Walsh:You're the Manson
Reverend Ben Cooper:Yeah.
Glenn Walsh:Oh, Jesus, thank you for our salvation that's secured in heaven.
Donny Stockburn:Forever. Thank you jesus
Glenn Walsh:lord we are but grass withering away, lead our hope lead our lead our security is not been found in the temporal things of this world. But totally in you to the lover of our son. So thank you for salvation. Thank you for mercy. Thank you for grace. Thank you for your steadfast love. For those who believed were given the right to be called the children of God for that is who we are. Yeah, Lord, Jesus for identity in you. Let us be steadfast, sober minded, as it says, Therefore, preparing your mind for action. Yes, find sober minded. Set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you. And then the revelation of Jesus Christ. Thank you. Oh, come on back. Jesus. Yeah. You're resurrected for the first amongst many. Yeah, you're alive today?
Donny Stockburn:Yes, yes,
Glenn Walsh:we are in You. Thank You, Jesus, for your people. Amen. Thank you, Jesus, for God, so loves the world. And that hasn't changed. Thank you, Father. God, so love the one of love the world He sent His one and only Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. Glory. Born again. And nature is now set with his don't live for the world. That's against your nature. If you belong to Jesus, live for Him. That's where you belong. Thank you, Lord.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Thank you, Father, we live for you. We rest in You. Lord, we thank You, Father, that you are with us that you never leave us nor forsake us. And thank you for the beautiful scriptures that are coming to us this morning. Father, you are living hope, Father, you You have blessed us You have blessed us over and over and over again, Lord. And I just want to reference with Glen has just come out of one Peter. And I just want to reference back to where Donnie took us to Numbers, chapter six, verses 24 through 226. If anybody wants that one, and that's a clear scripture, you know the song that's come out last year whenever it was, The Lord bless you and keep you. And the Lord made his face shine on you and be gracious to you. The Lord turn his face towards you and give you peace. What a beautiful scripture. Glenn has brought some lovely scriptures there as well. You know, live in hope another song there. You know, he is our blessing. He is our Redeemer. We are washed in the blood of Jesus, we belong to Him. There is hope in Him. There is a way he is the way the truth on the life. You know, come on, it's through Jesus. It's through the power of the Holy Spirit. We have the word, you are a son and a daughter of the living God on the other side of this mic in this lens this morning. We really believe that God is guiding you where we believe that you are going to receive your miracle, you are a miracle. You are a walking miracle. You are a child of the living God. You woke up this morning, the fire of God is on you never give in never given there is live in hope, as Glen has brought to us through the Scripture and as and as Andy has brought Psalm 91. And as Don has brought to the table, the Book of Numbers, a chapter six, verse 24, through 26, you are a child of the living God. Let the the God of Israel is shining on you this morning that King of Kings is with you. Let's not focus on the global news. But let's focus on the Word of God. Let's not focus on what the BBC is trying to drive down us and Sky News and on all the mainstream media news channels. Let's focus on the Word of God that yes, we are in the End Times. Yes, we are the children of the living God. Yes, I am a son. Yes, I am a daughter. I am chosen. We are blessed. His face is shining upon you. This morning Your house is blessed. Your work is blessed. You are blessed even though you might be in the wilderness, you are still blessed because you belong to Jesus. He is the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through him. We got to go through. We got to go through Jesus. He is the only way. He is your way. He is your guide. He is your strength. He is your Redeemer. He is your Redeemer. He is our Redeemer. We belong to the family of God, we are sons and daughters. We are joined, we are united. Wherever we are across the world, there might be 1000s of miles between us. And there might be timelines between us to when you listen back to this podcast, or this live stream service. When you flick back through, we belong to the kingdom of God. We are connected as the scripture says even our can't be usually in bodily form. I am with you in spirit we are together, we are united through the Word of God, we are united through the blood of Jesus forget denominations, forget all the layers and the class layers that are in denominations Forget all that. We are children of the kingdom of God. We are sons and daughters and there was a ransom and the price has been paid. And we are washed in the blood of Jesus. Forget the denomination rubbish. Forget the class layers, forget of We Are the church and blah, blah, blah. Let's just remember that we are children of the living God, let religion and church and denominations play around the drums and the guitar. Let on get on with that too. But I want the Word of God. I want to know that my Redeemer lives, I want to know that I'm a child of the living God, I want to know that I am washed and sanctified. Let them get on in the corner and do what they want to do. I want to hear the Word of God, I want to feel the power of the Word of God. I want to know that he's with me in the wilderness. I want to know that he's with me when I'm at the mountain when I'm midweek. And then when I'm at the base when I'm actually running, when I'm actually writing from that message that Jessie Bell was as poke my way, I want to know that he's already waiting under the tree that I'm going to fall under. I want to know these already send that angel to sustain us in the wilderness because he has said he will. And wherever you are in life, you are a sunplus and you are a daughter of the living God. You might be under a denomination, but they did not get your saved. You might be under a great denomination, but they're not going to get you in the kingdom of God. You might be under a great pastor and a great leader. But don't give them too much airtime. Don't give them too much notoriety because it just puff them up. Don't give us any of that. Don't. Don't do that to anyone we should be encourages. But there comes a point when we go You know what? Thanks, Pastor. Thanks, brother. Thanks, sister. But it's not you that died on a cross for me. It is my Lord God is my mother, my father in heaven sent his one and only Son, I belong to the kingdom of God, I thank God for the bishops, the leaders, the deacons, and the church. I'm respectful for that. And I thank you Jesus for what we got. But Lord, my salvation, don't hang on the religious order, my salvation, don't hang on what the churches say my salvation, don't hang on what anyone tells me but what the Word tells me that my Redeemer lives. And because he lives we all can face tomorrow, where I will join, we are part of a kingdom denomination has split us. Religion has split us. But if you are a believer, if you are a believer of the voice of God, if you believe in Genesis to Revelation, as we do with join, we're brothers and sisters of the kingdom, we might have a different label over the 10. But we're still Heinz beans together. We're still being together, we're still children are the living God, there might be a different label over the being can. But you know what? We're still beans inside the canvas. Still children are living God. And you know what, Never give up. Never ever give up. Because as the scriptures clearly said this morning, he's your living hope. He's your blessing. He's your healer is Jehovah gyra. Jehovah nissi is the great I am king. He's walking with you. He's with you in your sickness. He's carrying you through your sickness. He's carrying you through your depression. He's healing you have mental health issues. He's He's with your children. They might be under the duvet all day long, but he's with them. He died on a cross for them. there's coming a time when it's going to be breakthrough in your house. The miracle is at the door. That miracle is at the door. We're coming to Communion. Our brothers are going to lead us into communion in a few moments. And let's just remember what our brother Glen read out. He read out for one Peter and and Andy read out from Psalm 91. And Donna's read out from Numbers, chapter six, verse 24, to 26. And what I read out earlier one was from Matthew chapter four verse one through to read about five, you know, but now we're coming to the table.
Glenn Walsh:Before that, can i
Reverend Ben Cooper:yeah, come on, Glenn say
Glenn Walsh:what Ben has just said is john 10 as well.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Yeah, Jesus.
Glenn Walsh:He's the Good Shepherd. Everybody else is just a hired hand.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Amen. Yeah.
Glenn Walsh:thats it. Was it Sony john 10 video sales. But one Peter put a note in my Bible on one Peter that takes me
Reverend Ben Cooper:Of course it is. Come on, straight to Psalm 103. Yeah, really echoes it so much. So I'm gonna read Psalm 103. That's okay.
Glenn Walsh:starting at verse one. Bless the Lord, oh my soul, yeah. And over there is within me, bless His holy land here slash the Lord. And forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, who redeemed your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy? Who satisfies you with good so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's come up and the Lord works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed, he made known he's raised to Moses. Things like Don said, He's an axe to the people of Israel. The Lord is merciful and gracious slugger to anger and abounding in steadfast love. Thank you not always tried, normally keep his anger forever. He does not deal with us, according to our sins, thank you for over pay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens have above the earth. So great is his steadfast love towards those. As far as the leaders from the west, so far does he remove our transgressions from us, as a father shows compassion to his children. So the Lord shows compassion to those who fear him hallelujah. He knows airframe, he remembers that we are dust. As for man, his days are like grass, he flourishes like a flower, the field, for the wind passes over it, and it is gone. And its place knows it no more. But the steadfast love of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting. Yeah, those who fear Him and His righteousness to children's children, thank him to keep his covenant and remember to do his commandment.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Yes, Lord,
Glenn Walsh:the Lord has established his throne in the heavens and his kingdom rules overall, our man Bless the Lord, arguably his angels, the mighty wants to do his word, obeying the voice of the word of his word. Bless the Lord, all these hosts, these ministers Come on, he says, all Christians are ministers. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Bless the Lord. All his hosts will be those who do his well. Bless the Lord. Oh, he's works in all places of his dominion. Bless the Lord. Oh,
Reverend Ben Cooper:my God bless you.
Glenn Walsh:Every word we have, Lord, thank you. We will be one day in a crowd that no one can count. Amen. The great multitude in Wyatt, shift in righteousness standing before the throne. Thank you. Are we going to be there? Yes, Lord, looking at him. All of us crying in one voice. Bless the Lord. Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty much worthy. Thank you, Jesus for that privilege. Thank you for being there. And it's all because of you.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Amen.
Glenn Walsh:ransomed by you. Let your mercy come flood like a river.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Yes, Father,
Glenn Walsh:Amen.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Amen. Thank you, Lord, hallelujah. Thank you, Lord. God, we stand in the presence of greatness. We stand in the presence of a holy God and Lord as we come to the table. I just
Andy Hammond:think of Ben's analogy there about the beans in the can. There's a verse in Ephesians chapter two, which talks about being wanting Christ. And verse 19, it says, consequently, you're no longer foreigners and aliens, oh man, but fellow citizens with God's people, and members of God's household. And it's it goes on to say with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Thank you, Jesus.
Andy Hammond:So we thank you for that, Father God. And we remember, it is through Jesus and Jesus alone, that we are saved. For it says in verse eight, for it is by grace you have been saved through faith. And this not from yourselves. It is the gift of God. Amen. not by works, so that no one can pass. For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Beautiful. So we thank you. We thank you for scripture. We thank you that this is God's word that it speaks to us today that is relevant to us. Die. And it carries on this is the amazing thing about Scripps. Yeah carries on talking to us. Yeah, no matter what situations we're in, or, or whether it's five years ago, 10 years ago. And, you know, Don is quoted people from 100 years ago. It's still relevant. And it speaks to us today. And how powerful it is. And that's why God's word is the most popular book in the world.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Yeah,
Andy Hammond:more, more Bibles have been sold than any number one bestsellers.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Thank you, Jesus.
Andy Hammond:And so we thank You, Father, for your word that we have this. And we pray that all those Christians who are under persecution at the moment that in there rooms that they can turn to God's word. And I'll pray Father that they will be able to have access to God's word, access. We've heard testimony. So Christian, sir, taking a page of the Bible. Yes, yeah, yeah, it was their access to God's word. And the page worn thin, because of the constant reading of God's word which brought comfort. So thank you, father. And we come to this time of sharing the bread and wine, or Bing, or in our case, we share that to give thanks for that sacrifice of Jesus on the cross this morning. We pray that Father God that we celebrate it is a celebration of what you've done. And we just give our thanks. How amazing is it? That Christ went to the cross and died in our place. We give you thanks, father. give you thanks, Jesus, for what you've done. Yes. And we cannot do the things that you put before us without the power that you said, Holy Spirit. So we asked you to come Holy Spirit now. Come and be with each one of us, refresh us, restore us if we've slipped or fallen, lift us up, so that we can continue with that walk with you. We ask you this morning just to put your arms Thank you, Jason around us, to give us that extra strength, that piece of encouragement that we need to die. Yes, Lord. And we know father that they've been people who've woke this morning. Feeling so down and sad that they just didn't want to get out of bed. But we ask you now to come and put your loving arms around, to give them comfort, to give them that encouragement to start another day, with you walking besides. So we take this spread now in memory of what you've done for us. And that encouragement that you bring. Amen.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Amen. Thank you, Jesus for this bread
Donny Stockburn:Your father, we declare now that our true position in all things is in Christ. Nowhere else that your your children, their true position, geographical place, an eternal position is in Christ. And Lord, witches, thank you for that. And just let's pick up that sword of God's Word and pray in your lives. As many times as you can just pick up that sword and pray. It has the power of all things that word of God. It can undo all the work so the enemy, all of them, even the gates of hell will not prevail against it. We had the unbreakable Word of God. We have the unchallengeable Word of God.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Yes.
Donny Stockburn:The unchangeable Word of God to us to use this the sword, the power and authority and name above all names, we have that also. And if that's not enough, we have the Holy Spirit, our man who promises to be with us always. Whoever we all as Christians, we are in the highest place. A human being can be,
Reverend Ben Cooper:yeah.
Donny Stockburn:Our Place is in Christ. No one can go to a higher place than that. And it's forever. And it's promised, and it's kept safe by this powerful word that God is allowed us to use that same power that sold in the way he used it. He said, you will do what I've done. He didn't say you might do he said he will do a lord. We just pray, Lord, that we will be bold and pick up that sword. That living word Lord, all power unchallengeable. unchangeable, Lord, and use it in our lives daily, on our knees on our own, in streets on a pass wherever we are, know that we will pray and pray and pray, as you told us in these days to hold fast and pray, Lord, we pray, we would do that, right now in these days or so in Jesus name, Lord, all these things we've spoken about all these blessings of God, none of would have come but for this blood of Jesus, who made it all possible at our place in his established fervor in in God's kingdom. And it is Thank You, Lord, as we take this blood. Lord, we remember that night, Lord, when it all changed, history was broken in half, and all our sins left us and all your glory and blessings came upon us. And we thank you in Jesus name, amen.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Amen. Amen.
Andy Hammond:Just Ephesians, two, eight, and nine, says pray in spirit, more occasions with all kinds of prayers. And with this in mind, Be alert, and always keep on praying for all the saints. Yeah. Father, we just remember that. And the preceding verse, of course, is what Tony was talking about, tie the helmet of salvation on our sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God here. Thank you. Amen. Amen.
Glenn Walsh:We thank you for the wine of the New Covenant. Jesus. Yes, yes, blood. I love it when we read about the Last Supper, and he says, I've so long designed to do this with you. And when it comes to the wine, he said, this is the blood of my new covenant. And I'm looking at Psalm 25, verse 14. And it says, the friendship of the Lord is for those who fear Him. And He makes known to them his covenant. And that can also be translated the secret counsel, Thank You, Jesus. Jesus said to His disciples, and he says to us, I don't call you servants, I call your friends. Because friends know each other's business. Relationship we've got that cannot be broken. Again, john said, My sheep know My voice. He wants friendship with us. He wants relationship with us. He wants us to hear him and know him. And know he's calling on our lives and know these words over. The friendship of the Lord is for those who fear Him. Amen. like snow to them is covered. Thank you, Jesus. For this friendship we have with you're not friends with the world. Friends video.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Hallelujah. Thank you for Amen.
Andy Hammond:A reminder to everyone that I've got some New Testaments here. And with psalms freely available, if anyone knows anyone who would like a copy of God's Word. Maybe you need this for yourself today.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Yeah.
Andy Hammond:Or even if you know someone who would like a copy of God's word, just let us know here. And we'll get a copy to you.
